Road Side Units(RSUs)are the essential component of vehicular communication for the objective of improving safety and mobility in the road *** are generally deployed at the roadside and more specifically at the intersections in order to collect traffic information from the vehicles and disseminate alarms and messages in emergency situations to the neighborhood vehicles cooperating with the ***,the development of a predominant RSUs placement algorithm for ensuring competent communication in VANETs is a challenging issue due to the hindrance of obstacles like water bodies,trees and *** this paper,Ruppert’s Delaunay Triangulation Refinement Scheme(RDTRS)for optimal RSUs placement is proposed for accurately estimating the optimal number of RSUs that has the possibility of enhancing the area of coverage during data *** RDTRS is proposed by considering the maximum number of factors such as global coverage,intersection popularity,vehicle density and obstacles present in the map for optimal RSUs placement,which is considered as the core improvement over the existing RSUs optimal placement *** is contributed for deploying requisite RSUs with essential transmission range for maximal coverage in the convex map such that each position of the map could be effectively covered by at least one RSU in the presence of *** simulation experiments of the proposed RDTRS are conducted with complex road traffic *** results of this proposed RDTRS confirmed its predominance in reducing the end-to-end delay by 21.32%,packet loss by 9.38%with improved packet delivery rate of 10.68%,compared to the benchmarked schemes.

There are numerous applications for detecting stress states from physiological inputs. Human stress detection may be used to enhance the human experience as well as monitor and prevent stress-related disorders. Previous research has leveraged existing machine learning techniques for automated stress identification. However, there are also some limitations. Deep learning allows you to discover basic patterns in your body's reactions that are often difficult to notice. This study offers a convolutional network-based approach for detecting human stress utilizing multimodal data sets obtained by smart sensors for physiological and motion, which can aid humans in avoiding health issues caused by stress. Sensor information like triaxial accelerates, heartbeat, body temperature, respiration, electromyographic (EMG) data for physiological states stressed and non-stressed, are included in the WESAD data collection. The use of Long short - term memory method and the DNN method to detect stress in people in real-time is investigated in this study. Our research is based on their physical reactions. The study's findings provide an assessment of both models' ability to predict real-time users' mental expressions based on physiological parameter fluctuation. © 2022 IEEE.

In response to the evolving landscape of healthcare technology this study addresses the need for automated diagnostic tools in the field of ophthalmology. By utilizing deep learning methods specifically leveraging the EfficientNetV2S framework we achieve an overall accuracy rate of 94.6% in classifying images depicting common eye conditions like cataract, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and normal cases. Our model exhibits capabilities across a diverse spectrum of medical conditions due to meticulous preprocessing and fine-tuning procedures. The results highlight the potential for automated technology integration in healthcare settings, which might improve patient care and treatment plans. This paper highlights the use of advanced neural network designs in the diagnosis of ocular illnesses, offering insights at the nexus of learning and medical image processing. © 2024 IEEE.

Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is a critical cardio-vascular condition, encompassing deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE). Accurate and timely identification of VTE is essential for effective medical care. This study builds upon our previous work, which addressed VTE detection using deep learning methods for DVT and a hybrid approach combining deep learning and rule-based classification for PE. Our earlier approaches, while effective, had two major limitations: they were complex and required expert involvement for feature engineering of the rule set. To overcome these challenges, we utilize the Mamba architecture-based classifier. This model achieves remarkable results, with a 97% accuracy and F1 score on the DVT dataset and a 98% accuracy and F1 score on the PE dataset. In contrast to the previous hybrid method on PE identification, the Mamba classifier eliminates the need for hand-engineered rules, significantly reducing model complexity while maintaining comparable performance. Additionally, we evaluated a lightweight Large Language Model (LLM), Phi-3 Mini, in detecting VTE. While this model delivers competitive results, outperforming the baseline BERT models, it proves to be computationally intensive due to its larger parameter set. Our evaluation shows that the Mamba-based model demonstrates superior performance and efficiency in VTE identification, offering an effective solution to the limitations of previous approaches. © 2024 IEEE.

Recent advances in the diffusion model mark a significant leap in AI-generated image technology while extending its application to the Internet of Things (IoT). However, deploying these models on resource-constrained edge devices presents considerable challenges, primarily due to their high computational energy demands and stringent quality requirements. In response to these challenges, we introduce a collaborative inference system tailored for green edge networks. First, we propose a multi-exit U-ViT model that achieves the balance between inference quality and processing speed by allowing adaptive selection of exit points during diffusion for efficient processing. Next, we develop a novel generative AI-assisted reinforcement learning algorithm that controls the exit selections and offloading decisions of the device to achieve maximum global gain. Furthermore, we design a novel policy network incorporating an attention-based state-embedded policy network to enhance the algorithm's ability to perceive and make decisions about the state of the environment. Experimental results demonstrate that our system achieves energy-efficient inference while ensuring the quality of the generated content. © 2024 IEEE.

Recent developments in computer networking have made it possible to access information from a faraway location via either wireless or wired networks. The recent advancements in wireless infrastructure are directly responsible for the advent of wireless sensor networks, often known as WSNs. These networks make it easier to keep track of environmental happenings and activities, as well as document them and manage them. In WSNs, data relaying is accomplished through the use of a variety of routing strategies. Industry 4.0, also known as the fourth industrial revolution, is characterized by the incorporation of highly developed physical automation systems. These systems are made up of several pieces of machinery and gadgets that are linked together by sensors and are operated by software. The goal of the fourth industrial revolution is to improve the effectiveness and dependability of business processes. The Internet of Things (IoT) can be leveraged in manufacturing, which gives a means of linking engines, power grids, and sensors to the cloud in an industrial context. This is accomplished through the use of Industrial IoT. The purpose of this paper is to gain an understanding of how the Internet of Things functions in wireless sensor networks and its possible applications in a variety of settings. © 2024 IEEE.

Agriculture plays a foremost role in countries growth. The physical recognition of disease in the plant is more timeconsuming and necessity of expert labor is high. One of the most vital aspect in agriculture field is plant disease that reduces quality andquantity of agricultural crops. The machine learning approaches can easily recognize these diseases compared to physical method. So the machine learning techniques in addition toimage processing is used to identify diseased leaf. These methods will help in recognizing plant diseases thus increasing the yield of plants. This paper concentrates on the previous research work that used the characteristics of machine learning techniques in addition to image processing. It describes the various plant disease types, image processing methods and also various techniques of plant disease systems are analyzed with accuracy. Breast cancer is one of the leading cancers among *** has the second-highest mortality rate in women after lung *** detection,especially in the early stages,can help increase survival ***,manual diagnosis of breast cancer is a tedious and time-consuming process,and the accuracy of detection is reliant on the quality of the images and the radiologist’s ***,computer-aided medical diagnosis has recently shown promising results,leading to the need to develop an efficient system that can aid radiologists in diagnosing breast cancer in its early *** research presented in this paper is focused on the multi-class classification of breast *** deep transfer learning approach has been utilized to train the deep learning models,and a pre-processing technique has been used to improve the quality of the ultrasound *** proposed technique utilizes two deep learning models,Mobile-NetV2 and DenseNet201,for the composition of the deep ensemble *** learning models are fine-tuned along with hyperparameter tuning to achieve better ***,entropy-based feature selection is *** cancer identification using the proposed classification approach was found to attain an accuracy of 97.04%,while the sensitivity and F1 score were 96.87%and 96.76%,*** performance of the proposed model is very effective and outperforms other state-of-the-art techniques presented in the literature.
