Emotion detection is a critical field in AI as well as computer vision, seeking to recognize or detect human emotions from facial expressions. Although this area has been greatly advanced through Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), current methods using only single-modal data often exhibit reduced accuracy. In this work, we confront these challenges with a hybrid deep learning method for disparate modalities of information such as speech, video, and text. We pre-process and then use CNN feature extractors for the FER2013 data set. The hybrid deep learning model, hence proposed, achieved a weighted accuracy of 79.3% on FER2013, overcoming the conventional unimodal methods. We are using transformers library with the pre-trained RoBERTa model for text. For speech emotion features, we are using TESS dataset then using a CNN and LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory) model. The CNN extracts feature from the speech, while the LSTM is used for temporal analysis to detect emotions. Once these multimodal features have been obtained, our work would be to fuse in order to get the final emotion recognition using Deep Neural Networks (DNNs). The process increases the precision and reliability of the recognition systems, helping to accumulate even more detailed intuition for different emotional states for a combined approach. © 2024 IEEE.

Using a cutting-edge neural network framework, 'PulseSync BP' estimates blood pressure without contact. Using photoplethysmogram (PPG) signals and other physiological data, this novel model uses advanced signal processing. The suggested framework changes blood pressure monitoring by eliminating cuff-based measures. PulseSync BP's RNN architecture is carefully designed for optimal prediction accuracy. The algorithm effectively estimates blood pressure through extensive experimentation, demonstrating its potential for continuous healthcare applications. This framework's capacity to use various physiological cues shows its adaptability and versatility. PulseSync BP allows real-time, non-intrusive blood pressure monitoring, advancing individualized health tracking solutions. Cuffless blood pressure estimate is advanced here, demonstrating how artificial intelligence could improve healthcare accessibility and patient-centric monitoring. A Hybrid Relational Approach Toward Stock Price Prediction and Profitability

An accurate estimation of future stock prices can help investors maximize their profits. The current advancements in the area of artificial intelligence (AI) have proven prevalent in the financial sector. Besides, stock market prediction is difficult owing to the considerable volatility and unpredictability induced by numerous factors. Recent approaches have considered fundamental, technical, or macroeconomic variables to find hidden complex patterns in financial data. At the macro level, there exists a spillover effect between stock pairs that can explain the variance present in the data and boost the prediction performance. To address this interconnectedness defined by intrasector stocks, we propose a hybrid relational approach to predict the future price of stocks in the American, Indian, and Korean economies. We collected market data of large-, mid-, and small-capitalization peer companies in the same industry as the target firm, considering them as relational features. To ensure efficient feature selection, we have utilized a data-driven approach, i.e., random forest feature permutation (RF2P), to remove noise and instability. A hybrid prediction module consisting of temporal convolution and linear model (TCLM) is proposed that considers irregularities and linear trend components of the financial data. We found that RF2P-TCLM gave the superior performance. To demonstrate the real-world applicability of our approach in terms of profitability, we created a trading method based on the predicted results. This technique generates a higher profit than the existing approaches. © 2024 IEEE.

The main aim of this work is to develop an Online Discussion platform for users. The platforms will become more mature while having more users. In the paper, a sophisticated strategy is suggested to tackle a critical challenge by presenting an effective and secure method for authentication using e-evaluation. The proposal doesn't require extra elements and considers continuous authentication through the random generation of a variable number of questions derived from the gathered information. This application works in various types of browsers as well as in various networks. Many users can use this Discussion platform at the same time. The IP address plays the main role in this application. Discussion platforms and conversational interfaces as they are also known provide a new way for users to interact with other users. A Discussion platform user to share their thoughts and feelings in the same manner that they might address a person. Online discussion forums are considered associate degree extension of ancient learning that promotes dialogue, reflection, information construction, and self-assessment. Given their Potential advantages, online discussion forums are widely adopted as a tool for online learning However, Discussion platforms are currently being adopted at a high rate on computer chat platforms. © 2024 IEEE.

Optimised EfficientNet for multi-class skin cancer diagnosis: integrating chaotic grey wolf algorithms

The detection of skin cancer holds paramount importance worldwide due to its impact on global health. While deep convolutional neural networks (DCNNs) have shown potential in this domain, current approaches often struggle with fine-grained variability in skin lesion features, imbalanced datasets and inadequate augmentation. The objectives of our study encompass building a model that not only enhances accuracy but also reduces training time and cost, improves dimensionality reduction during classification and segmentation, and is evaluated on larger datasets for robustness. We enhance the learning process using an improved nature-inspired optimisation algorithm tailored specifically for skin cancer classification tasks. This algorithm optimises model parameters to maximise classification accuracy while minimising computational overhead. Our proposed architecture leverages a gold standard dermatological image dataset meticulously curated and validated by experts. This dataset spans eight distinct classes, including actinic keratosis, basal cell carcinoma, melanoma, nevus, and others, ensuring a diverse representation of skin conditions. The balanced class distribution in the training and test sets enables fair evaluation and robustness assessment of our deep learning models. The developed algorithm showcases novelty in its approach, contributing to advancements in early skin cancer detection technologies. This study introduces an optimised deep learning model designed for the early detection of skin cancer, achieving a notable accuracy of 97.48%. Our study aims to contribute significantly to the medical field by providing a reliable and efficient tool for dermatologists and healthcare practitioners to assist in diagnosing skin conditions accurately and promptly, ultimately improving patient outcomes and healthcare efficiency. © (2025), (Indian Academy of sciences). High-quality public datasets significantly prompt the prosperity of deep neural networks (DNNs). Currently, dataset ownership verification (DOV), which consists of dataset watermarking and ownership verification, is the only feasible solution to protect their copyright by preventing unauthorized use. In this paper, we revisit existing DOV methods and find that they all mainly focused on the first stage by designing different types of dataset watermarks and directly exploiting watermarked samples as the verification samples for ownership verification. As such, their success relies on an underlying assumption that verification is a onetime and privacy-preserving process, which does not necessarily hold in practice. To alleviate this problem, we propose ZeroMark to conduct ownership verification without disclosing dataset-specified watermarks. Our method is inspired by our empirical and theoretical findings of the intrinsic property of DNNs trained on the watermarked dataset. Specifically, ZeroMark first generates the closest boundary version of given benign samples and calculates their boundary gradients under the label-only black-box setting. After that, it examines whether the given suspicious method has been trained on the protected dataset by performing a hypothesis test, based on the cosine similarity measured on the boundary gradients and the watermark pattern. Extensive experiments on benchmark datasets verify the effectiveness of our ZeroMark and its resistance to potential adaptive attacks. Knowledge base construction entails acquiring structured information to create a knowledge base of factual and relational data, facilitating question answering, information retrieval, and semantic understanding. The challenge called"Knowledge Base Construction from Pretrained Language Models" at International Semantic Web Conference 2023 defines tasks focused on constructing knowledge base using language model. Our focus was on Track 1 of the challenge, where the parameters are constrained to a maximum of 1 billion, and the inclusion of entity descriptions within the prompt is prohibited. Although the masked language model offers sufficient flexibility to extend its vocabulary, it is not inherently designed for multi-token prediction. To address this, we present Vocabulary Expandable BERT for knowledge base construction, which expand the language model’s vocabulary while preserving semantic embeddings for newly added words. We adopt task-specific re-pre-training on masked language model to further enhance the language model. Through experimentation, the results show the effectiveness of our approaches. Our framework achieves F1 score of 0.323 on the hidden test set and 0.362 on the validation set, both data set is provided by the challenge. Notably, our framework adopts a lightweight language model (BERT-base, 0.13 billion parameters) and surpasses the model using prompts directly on large language model (Chatgpt-3, 175 billion parameters). Besides, Token-Recode achieves comparable performances as Re-pretrain. This research advances language understanding models by enabling the direct embedding of multi-token entities, signifying a substantial step forward in link prediction task in knowledge graph and metadata completion in data management. 1 © 2023 CEUR-WS. Stress is a relationship between a person and environment which is one of the most common and serious health issues worldwide. Work life balance for working women is highly desirable and if there is no job satisfaction or consistency in life it will create a dilemma for women employees. Work life balance should be in an equilibrium state between personal and professional life. Balancing both personal and professional life is a stressful job for both men and women, which causes more problems physically and mentally. Working women get more stress than men because women undergo more stress taking care of children's, family members, household works and in working environment. In India, 87% of women gets more stress due to taking care of family and working environment. This causes severe problem when corresponding measures are not taken. This paper discusses the factor influencing the women to get more stress in educational institution and divides the project based on personal and professional life. © 2022 IEEE.

In classical statistics, the population mean is estimated using determinate, crisp data value when auxiliary information is known. These estimates can often be biased. The main objective of this study is to introduce the neutrosophic estimator with the minimum mean squared error (MSE) for the unknown value of the population mean as well as overcome the limitations of classical statistics when dealing with ambiguous or indeterminate data. Neutrosophic statistics was introduced by Florentin Smarandache. It is a generalisation of classical statistics that addresses ambiguous, unclear, vague, and indeterminate data. In this study, we have proposed neutrosophic almost unbiased estimator that use known neutrosophic auxiliary parameters to estimate the neutrosophic population mean of the primary variable. Equations for bias and mean squared error are calculated for the suggested estimators up to the first order of approximation. The proposed estimator performs better than the other existing estimators with respect to the MSE and percent relative efficiency (PRE) criteria. The estimator with the highest PRE or lowest MSE is advised for practical utility in various kinds of application areas. The theoretical conclusions are validated by the empirical analysis, which made use of the real data sets. © 2025, University of New Mexico. All rights reserved.

Considering that hyperspectral image (HSI) is often of lower spatial resolution when compared to multispectral image (MSI), an economical approach for obtaining a high-spatial-resolution (HSR) HSI is to fuse the acquired HSI and MSI, thereby greatly facilitating the subsequent material identification and classification in satellite remote sensing. As satellite-acquired HSI and MSI are often misaligned, the proposed deep neural network does not require the input HSI/MSI to be spatially co-registered, making the challenging fusion network design even more difficult. In this study, we propose a streamlined and efficient convex model integrated into the subnetwork, which obviates the need for complex network structures in learning spatial-spectral relationships, effectively guiding the quasi-residual learning task in our alignment-free fusion network. The convex subnetwork is a low-rank model that leverages the convex geometric structure implicitly embedded in the hyperspectral signature space. To address the misalignment between HSI and MSI effectively, we introduce a novel shifted window attention module (SWAM) that exploits the neighboring correlation in the feature domain, significantly enhancing the performance and stability of the fusion task. Capitalizing on the redundancy among spectrums, we employ grouped convolution to decrease the computational complexity without causing additional performance degradation. The proposed quasi-residual convex deep (QRCODE) network demonstrates the state-of-the-art performance in alignment-free HSI/MSI fusion tasks. © 1980-2012 IEEE.
