In the field of electric power distribution network operation, most tasks involve contact operations. A key technology to enable the flexible operation of robots in live distribution network tasks is the installation of six-dimensional force sensors on the robot's end flange. These sensors allow the robot to perceive external environmental contact forces. However, the presence of the end load interferes with the accurate perception of external forces. Aiming at the gravity compensation of robot end load, an optimization algorithm of gravity compensation based on particle swarm optimization is proposed. In this method, the optimal solution model is established with the objective of minimum sum of squared errors, and the particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to estimate the mounting declination angle of the force sensor and improve the precision of gravity compensation. The experiments show that the proposed method can effectively reduce the maximum gravity compensation error and the average gravity compensation error in each direction after optimization, in which the maximum gravity compensation error of the resultant force is reduced by 9.11% and the average gravity compensation error of the resultant force is reduced by 12.34%. © 2023 IEEE.

Effective-medium theory pertains to the theoretical modelling of homogenization,which aims to replace an inhomogeneous structure of subwavelength-scale constituents with a homogeneous effective *** effective-medium theory is fundamental to various realms,including electromagnetics and material science,since it can largely decrease the complexity in the exploration of light-matter interactions by providing simple acceptable ***,the effective-medium theory is thought to be applicable to any all-dielectric system with deep-subwavelength constituents,under the condition that the effective medium does not have a critical angle,at which the total internal reflection *** we reveal a fundamental breakdown of the effective-medium theory that can be applied in very general conditions:showing it for deep-subwavelength all-dielectric multilayers even without a critical *** finding relies on an exotic photonic spin Hall effect,which is shown to be ultrasensitive to the stacking order of deep-subwavelength dielectric layers,since the spin-orbit interaction of light is dependent on slight phase accumulations during the wave *** results indicate that the photonic spin Hall effect could provide a promising and powerful tool for measuring structural defects for all-dielectric systems even in the extreme nanometer scale.

Herein, Ttago-Coupled-Multiplex-digital-RPA-CRISPR/Cas12a (TCMDC) was proposed for the enrichment and multiplex detection of EGFR mutations. TCMDC realizes the fast enrichment of mutant nucleic acid templates by using Ttago to cut the wild-type template efficiently. The RPA-dual-crRNA Cas12a without need of PAM sequence realizes the universal one-tube RPA-Cas12a detection. Moreover, a multiplex digital PCR chip was developed and TCMDC was used to achieve absolute quantitative detection of multiplex EGFR mutations. As a mutation detection method, TCMDC not only has extremely high sensitivity (0.001%) and specificity, but also is very fast (1h), simple and convenient, which has versatility in point-of-care cancer diagnosis and precision medicine. © 2022 MicroTAS 2022 - 26th International Conference on Miniaturized systems for Chemistry and Life Sciences. Most vision-based pedestrian detection systems adopted deep learning approaches with the framework of convolutional neural networks (CNNs) to reach the state-of-the-art detection accuracy. As CNN-based approaches are computationally intensive, the deployment of those systems to a resource-limited edge device is a challenging task, especially for a real-time application such as intelligent vehicles. In this study, we proposed a lightweight high-performance edge computing solution to achieve rapid and accurate performance in pedestrian detection. Experimental results showed that the proposed framework can effectively reduce the miss rate of the YOLO-tiny detection model from 48.8% to 26.2% while achieving an inference speed of 31 frames per second (FPS) tested on the Caltech pedestrian dataset. © The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2021.

This paper investigates the problem of outlier-resistant distributed fusion filtering(DFF)for a class of multi-sensor nonlinear singular systems(MSNSSs)under a dynamic event-triggered scheme(DETS).To relieve the effect of measurement outliers in data transmission,a self-adaptive saturation function is ***,to further reduce the energy consumption of each sensor node and improve the efficiency of resource utilization,a DETS is adopted to regulate the frequency of data *** the addressed MSNSSs,our purpose is to construct the local outlier-resistant filter under the effects of the measurement outliers and the DETS;the local upper bound(UB)on the filtering error covariance(FEC)is derived by solving the difference equations and minimized by designing proper filter ***,according to the local filters and their UBs,a DFF algorithm is presented in terms of the inverse covariance intersection fusion *** such,the proposed DFF algorithm has the advantages of reducing the frequency of data transmission and the impact of measurement outliers,thereby improving the estimation ***,the uniform boundedness of the filtering error is discussed and a corresponding sufficient condition is ***,the validity of the developed algorithm is checked using a simulation example.

Stochastic differential equations(SDEs)are mathematical models that are widely used to describe complex processes or phenomena perturbed by random noise from different *** identification of SDEs governing a system is often a challenge because of the inherent strong stochasticity of data and the complexity of the system’s *** practical utility of existing parametric approaches for identifying SDEs is usually limited by insufficient data *** study presents a novel framework for identifying SDEs by leveraging the sparse Bayesian learning(SBL)technique to search for a parsimonious,yet physically necessary representation from the space of candidate basis *** importantly,we use the analytical tractability of SBL to develop an efficient way to formulate the linear regression problem for the discovery of SDEs that requires considerably less time-series *** effectiveness of the proposed framework is demonstrated using real data on stock and oil prices,bearing variation,and wind speed,as well as simulated data on well-known stochastic dynamical systems,including the generalized Wiener process and Langevin *** framework aims to assist specialists in extracting stochastic mathematical models from random phenomena in the natural sciences,economics,and engineering fields for analysis,prediction,and decision making.

Anomaly detection is essential to ensure the safety of industrial processes. This paper presents an anomaly detection approach based on the probability density estimation and principle of justifiable granularity. First, time series data are transformed into a two-dimensional information granule by the principle of justifiable granularity. Then, the test statistic is constructed, and the probability density and cumulative distribution functions of the test statistic are calculated. Next, the confidence level determines the test threshold. Finally, the time series data of a key parameter in the sintering process is used as a case study. The experimental result demonstrates that the proposed approach can detect abnormal time series data effectively, providing an accurate and effective solution for detecting time series anomalies in industrial processes.

The efficient operation of HVAC&R systems are based on keeping indoor temperature and air quality at an optimum level without disturbing comfort. Starting from this point, in this experimental research, the factors affecting the measurement accuracy during the room temperature detection of a wall mount fan coil thermostat were examined. Among the external effects, the effect of the device components on the measurement was focused and the solution of the measurement deviations occurred in this extent was investigated. Based on the experiments, the algorithm that must be applied to reach the optimum temperature measurement of a room thermostat developed for Fan Coil systems was proposed.
