With the development and progress of electric power technology and information technology, microgrid has become an important and indispensable part of smart grid. The cyber-security of microgrids has a significant impact on the stability and security of smart grids. Distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack as one of the common types of cyberattacks in microgrids has formed a considerable threat to the network security of microgrids. In a DDoS event, attackers first use malware to infect few nodes in the microgrid and the infected nodes can generate large-scale malware propagation in the system. These infection lays the foundation for the flood attacks. Therefore, this paper establishes a model to analyse the DDoS attack propagation in microgrid. Firstly, this paper establishs a dynamic model based on the epidemiological theory to describe the propagation dynamics of DDoS attack in microgrid. Then we go on to compute the attack threshold $(R_{0})$ of the model and prove the stability of equilibrium point. Finally we carry out the experimental simulation based on the model, and the experimental results show that the proposed model can reflect the propagation of DDoS attack in microgrid effectively. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper introduces a novel approach to ranking-based feature selection. Numerous metrics exist to assess univariate filters. This contribution identifies the top best features by employing two distinct methods, computes the global weights of each feature, and sorts these weights in decreasing order for those which are common to both procedures. According to the first part, this work is a feature selection proposal and concerning the last, it is besides a feature sorting approach. The benchmark data sets originate from NIPS 2003. This approach has been tested on problems with up to 20000 features and up to 7000 samples. The test results are very promising since, in some cases the outcomes significantly outperform the raw scenario, and in others, they surpass those of an approach which may be considered to be related to the current contribution. Finally, this study opens new avenues for research, particularly in examining the importance of specific feature sorting methods for certain supervised machine learning algorithms. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

Rate splitting multiple access (RSMA) has emerged in the integrated satellite-terrestrial networks (ISTNs). However, the satellite-terrestrial channel suffers serious shadow fading and cannot maintain stable communication links effectively. From the perspective of reliability, this correspondence takes the lead in focusing on the outage probability (OP) of ISTNs based on the combination of RSMA and hybrid automatic repeat request with chase combining (HARQ-CC). The lower and upper bounds of OP are derived firstly according to the inclusion-exclusion principle. Then, the diversity order is deduced, pointing out the conditions for full time diversity. Monte Carlo simulations confirm the accuracy of the theoretical results, and superior outage performance of HARQ-CC-aided RSMA is present compared with benchmarks. © 1967-2012 IEEE All rights reserved.

Aerial intelligent reflecting surface (AIRS), integrating unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with IRS, has emerged as a promising paradigm to improve the transmission quality and security in emergency communication, space-air-ground-integrated network and mobile edge computing, etc. However, the size of a single AIRS is constrained by the limited energy and payload capacity of the UAV, as well as the path loss of the air-to-ground reflective link, which makes the gain from a single AIRS finite. To address these problems, we propose a hybrid aerial IRS-assisted cooperative secure transmission system, where an aerial active IRS and an aerial simultaneously transmitting and reflecting IRS (STAR-IRS) are employed to achieve reflection amplification and 360-degree ubiquitous coverage, respectively. Additionally, the cooperative beamforming gain generated by the secondary reflection between the hybrid AIRSs can further improve communication quality. Specifically, an optimization problem is proposed with the objective of maximizing the sum secrecy rate by jointly optimizing the transmitting beamforming and the reflection coefficients of each AIRS. We first reformulated the original non-convex problem by fractional programming method, and a three-layer alternating optimization algorithm is introduced to address the proposed problem with the successive convex approximation (SCA) as well as penalty convex-concave procedure (PCCP) techniques. Finally, extensive simulations are conducted to demonstrate that the proposed scheme substantially improves the sum secrecy rate compared to other baseline schemes. © 2024 IEEE.

The paper presents a comparative analysis of the simulation results of a DC-DC buck regulator based on LM2595 on three different simulation platforms: PSpice, LTspice, and Tina. The comparative analysis includes visual comparison of selected waveforms, comparison of statistical parameters of the observed signals, and comparison based on time step signal analysis. The simulation was performed using three different maximal time step conditions. The research focused on examining the differences caused by different simulation platforms under the same maximal time step condition, as well as the differences caused by different maximal time step conditions within a single simulation platform. This analysis is crucial, particularly when comparing different simulation Spice models that require simulations to be conducted on various simulation platforms. By comparing the results obtained from different platforms under the same simulation conditions, the impact of the simulation platform on the accuracy and behavior of the models can be assessed. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, the consensus control problem for multi-agent systems (MASs) suffering hybrid attacks is discussed, in which the hybrid attacks include randomly occurring deception attacks on system dynamic behavior and denial-of-service attacks (DoS). An event-triggered robust model predictive control (RMPC) method is presented to achieve the consensus of MASs under hybrid attacks. It can be proved that the consensus errors can be asymptotic with prescribed H∞ performance, the sufficient condition for stability can be given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), and the controller gains are obtained by solving an optimization problem involving some LMIs. Employing the event-triggered mechanism with maximum trigger interval, not only can not only save computation time and facilitate the efficiency of the shared resources but also can effectively be responsible for the negative impact of cyber-attacks on system performance. Finally, simulation results are given to illustrate the validity and effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of automation.

This paper expounds on the development status and relevant works of control and guidance methods of the aerospace vehicle in recent years. The control difficulties and the solutions in the related results are introduced briefly. In today's world, connectivity and performance-driven technology are rapidly advancing each year, and new platforms and mechanisms are being utilized to enhance the security and performance of databases and cloud computing, which are trending in the global market. This examination focused on customer information security in cloud computing, i.e., information stockpiling security issues and how to control unapproved access to data by proposing access control;valuable measures were characterized subsequently, and an entrance control show was prescribed. Cloud computing can be described as an innovation that depends on the web and the sharing of resources. It has an adaptable foundation that customers can use with much of a stretch. With its wide event relationship, there are numerous obstacles to continuing with cloud computing because of security issues, mostly considering customer data security. The proposed study helped hesitant clients sensibly continue forward in the cloud while understanding the dangers of cloud computing. The research objective is to examine the security techniques employed in cloud technology to improve its performance by utilizing data mining within a unified cache system. We will apply the Apriori algorithm as a proposed solution to be used in a single cache while considering the security measures in the cloud. The study expects to apply this method to all cloud providers and vendors by entering data into a single cache mechanism that can be extended into different components and implemented using SPSS modelers to improve the security of the database. © 2024 IEEE.

Fruit harvesting poses a significant labor and financial burden on the fruit industry, which underscore the urgent need for advancements in robotic harvesting solutions. Despite considerable progress in leveraging deep learning and machine learning techniques for fruit detection, a common shortfall is the inability to swiftly extend the developed models across different orchards and/or various fruit species. Additionally, the limited availability of pertinent data further compounds these challenges. In this work, we introduce MetaFruit, the largest publicly available multi-class fruit dataset, comprising 4,248 images and 248,015 manually labeled instances across diverse U.S. orchards. Furthermore, this study proposes an innovative open-set fruit detection system leveraging advanced Vision Foundation Models (VFMs) for fruit detection that can adeptly identify a wide array of fruit types under varying orchard conditions. This system not only demonstrates remarkable adaptability in learning from minimal data through few-shot learning but also shows the ability to interpret human instructions for subtle detection tasks. The performance of the developed foundation model is comprehensively evaluated across several metrics, outperforming existing state-of-the-art algorithms in our MetaFruit, thereby setting a new benchmark in the field of agricultural technology and robotic harvesting. The MetaFruit dataset (https://***/datasets/jiajiali/metafruit) and detection framework (https://***/JiajiaLi04/FMFruit) are open-sourced to foster future research in vision-based fruit harvesting, marking a significant stride toward addressing the urgent needs of the agricultural sector. © 2024 ASABE Annual International Meeting.
