In this paper, we propose a design method for a new event-trigger-based variable gain robust controller which achieves both consensus and guaranteed cost performance for a class of uncertain multi-agent systems (MASs) with the leader-follower structure. The proposed variable gain robust controller is composed of stabilizing state feedback laws, state feedback inputs for consensus, and compensation inputs with adjustable parameters, and is designed for giving consideration to relative positions explicitly. In this paper, we show that sufficient conditions for the existence of the proposed robust guaranteed cost formation controller are given in terms of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs). Finally, a simple example is included. © 2024 IEEE.

Analysis of CNN and Feed-Forward ANN Model for the Evaluation of ECG Signal

Background: Heart disease is considered one of the complex diseases that has affected a large number of people around the world. It is important to detect and identify cardiac diseases at early stages. Objective: A large number of methods are already present that detect various heart diseases;how-ever, there are some limitations to these methods, that have degraded their overall performance. Methods: In this paper, an effective and efficient method based on a convolutional neural network (CNN) and a feed-forward artificial neural network (FFANN) is proposed that can effectively detect cardiac diseases after analysing the electrocardiogram (ECG) signals. In this ongoing study, the transformed signals are used to extract the information from the processed data. The extracted features are then passed to the proposed CNN-FFANN classifiers for training and testing purposes. Results: The performance of the proposed CNN-FFANN model is evaluated in the MATLAB software in terms of performance matrices. Conclusion: The simulated outcomes have proved the proposed CNN-FFANN model to be more accurate and efficient in detecting heart diseases from ECG signals and can be adopted for future biomedical applications. © 2023 Bentham science Publishers.

With the recent developments in the Internet of Things(IoT),the amount of data collected has expanded tremendously,resulting in a higher demand for data storage,computational capacity,and real-time processing *** computing has traditionally played an important role in establishing ***,fog computing has recently emerged as a new field complementing cloud computing due to its enhanced mobility,location awareness,heterogeneity,scalability,low latency,and geographic ***,IoT networks are vulnerable to unwanted assaults because of their open and shared *** a result,various fog computing-based security models that protect IoT networks have been developed.A distributed architecture based on an intrusion detection system(IDS)ensures that a dynamic,scalable IoT environment with the ability to disperse centralized tasks to local fog nodes and which successfully detects advanced malicious threats is *** this study,we examined the time-related aspects of network traffic *** presented an intrusion detection model based on a twolayered bidirectional long short-term memory(Bi-LSTM)with an attention mechanism for traffic data classification verified on the UNSW-NB15 benchmark *** showed that the suggested model outperformed numerous leading-edge Network IDS that used machine learning models in terms of accuracy,precision,recall and F1 score.

The prediction for Multivariate Time Series(MTS)explores the interrelationships among variables at historical moments,extracts their relevant characteristics,and is widely used in finance,weather,complex industries and other ***,it is important to construct a digital twin ***,existing methods do not take full advantage of the potential properties of variables,which results in poor predicted *** this paper,we propose the Adaptive Fused Spatial-Temporal Graph Convolutional Network(AFSTGCN).First,to address the problem of the unknown spatial-temporal structure,we construct the Adaptive Fused Spatial-Temporal Graph(AFSTG)***,we fuse the spatial-temporal graph based on the interrelationship of spatial ***,we construct the adaptive adjacency matrix of the spatial-temporal graph using node embedding ***,to overcome the insufficient extraction of disordered correlation features,we construct the Adaptive Fused Spatial-Temporal Graph Convolutional(AFSTGC)*** module forces the reordering of disordered temporal,spatial and spatial-temporal dependencies into rule-like *** dynamically and synchronously acquires potential temporal,spatial and spatial-temporal correlations,thereby fully extracting rich hierarchical feature information to enhance the predicted *** on different types of MTS datasets demonstrate that the model achieves state-of-the-art single-step and multi-step performance compared with eight other deep learning models.

Traffic prediction of wireless networks attracted many researchersand practitioners during the past decades. However, wireless traffic frequentlyexhibits strong nonlinearities and complicated patterns, which makes it challengingto be predicted accurately. Many of the existing approaches forpredicting wireless network traffic are unable to produce accurate predictionsbecause they lack the ability to describe the dynamic spatial-temporalcorrelations of wireless network traffic data. In this paper, we proposed anovel meta-heuristic optimization approach based on fitness grey wolf anddipper throated optimization algorithms for boosting the prediction accuracyof traffic volume. The proposed algorithm is employed to optimize the hyperparametersof long short-term memory (LSTM) network as an efficient timeseries modeling approach which is widely used in sequence prediction *** prove the superiority of the proposed algorithm, four other optimizationalgorithms were employed to optimize LSTM, and the results were *** evaluation results confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed approachin predicting the traffic of wireless networks accurately. On the other hand,a statistical analysis is performed to emphasize the stability of the proposedapproach.

Inverter topologies for integrating a rooftop photovoltaic (PV) unit into a microgrid are becoming increasingly complex. This paper proposes a high-voltage boosting transformerless inverter (HVBTI) topology for enhancing such applications. The coupled inductor-based high voltage gain feature of the HVBTI configuration allows power to be delivered into the grid from a lower voltage PV source without using higher duties. In addition, HVBTI suppresses leakage current as the common connection shared between the

terminal of the PV source and the grid neutral point. In comparison to existing topologies, the HVBTI topology uses a compact pulse width modulation strategy to control only six controllable switching devices. Again, using lower-rated switching devices is more cost-effective while increasing reliability and efficiency. In a laboratory prototype of a 1 kVA grid integrated system, the proposed HVBTI configuration is validated, and the maximum efficiency of the HVBTI is estimated at approximately 95%. Author

Memristive effects on an improved discrete Rulkov neuron model

A change in neuronal-action potential can generate a magnetically induced current during the release and propagation of intracellular *** better characterize the electromagnetic-induction effect,this paper presents an improved discrete Rulkov(ID-Rulkov)neuron model by coupling a discrete model of a memristor with sine memductance into a discrete Rulkov neuron *** ID-Rulkov neuron model possesses infinite invariant points,and its memristor-induced stability effect is evaluated by detecting the routes of period-doubling and Neimark-Sacker *** investigated the memristor-induced dynamic effects on the neuron model using bifurcation plots and firing ***,we theoretically expounded the memristor initial-boosting mechanism of infinite coexisting *** results show that the ID-Rulkov neuron model can realize diverse neuron firing patterns and produce hyperchaotic attractors that are nondestructively boosted by the initial value of the memristor,indicating that the introduced memristor greatly benefits the original neuron *** hyperchaotic attractors initially boosted by the memristor were verified by hardware experiments based on a hardware *** addition,pseudorandom number generators are designed using the ID-Rulkov neuron model,and their high randomness is demonstrated based onstrict test results.

Motion infilling is a fundamental and challenging research field in human motion modeling and analysis, which aims to generate natural and visually coherent transitions to fill in missing motion frames based on the start and end motion sequences. However, most current methods ignore the spatial structure formed by joints, which may lose some spatial information. This work proposes a novel spatiotemporal graph U-Net that supports flexible inputs for skeleton-based motion infilling. We apply spatiotemporal graph convolutional layers, skeleton pooling layers, and skeleton unpooling layers to extract spatial and temporal features in the motion sequence. At the same time, we use the U-Net structure to integrate the information in the start and end motion sequences. In addition, the generative adversarial mechanism is introduced to ensure the generated skeleton poses are smooth and natural. We conduct experiments on two motion datasets, including one large-scale public dataset and one self-built dataset. The model inputs are joint quaternions or joint coordinates. Experimental results show that our method can improve the performance of skeleton-based motion infilling and achieve state-of-the-art results when using joint coordinates as model input. © 2024 IEEE.

Recently,the path planning problem may be considered one of the most interesting researched topics in autonomous *** is why finding a safe path in a cluttered environment for a mobile robot is a significant requisite.A promising route planning for mobile robots on one side saves time and,on the other side,reduces the wear and tear on the robot,saving the capital *** route planning methods for the mobile robot have been developed and *** to our best knowledge,no method offers an optimum solution among the existing *** Swarm Optimization(PSO),a numerical optimization method based on the mobility of virtual particles in a multidimensional space,is considered one of the best algorithms for route planning under constantly changing environmental *** the researchers,reactive methods are increasingly common and extensively used for the training of neural networks in order to have efficient route planning for mobile *** paper proposes a PSO Weighted Grey Wolf Optimization(PSOWGWO)*** is a hybrid algorithm based on enhanced Grey Wolf Optimization(GWO)with *** order to measure the statistical efficiency of the proposed algorithm,Wilcoxon rank-sum and ANOVA statistical tests are *** experimental results demonstrate a 25%to 45%enhancement in terms of Area Under Curve(AUC).Moreover,superior performance in terms of data size,path planning time,and accuracy is demonstrated over other state-of-the-art techniques.

Quantum computing is progressing at a fast rate and there is a real threat that classical cryptographic methods can be compromised and therefore impact the security of blockchain networks. All of the ways used to secure blockchain like Rivest–Shamir–Adleman (RSA), Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) and Secure Hash Algorithm 256-bit (SHA256) are the characteristic of the traditional cryptographic techniques vulnerable to attack by quantum algorithms: Shor’s and Grover’s algorithms: can efficiently break asymmetric encryption and speed up brute force attacks. Because of this vulnerability, there exists a need to develop an advance quantum resilient blockchain framework to protect the decentralized ledgers from the future threats of the quantum. This research proposes Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and Quantum Random Number Generation (QRNG) as a formidable architectural integration, to fortify security of blockchain. Classical encryption is replaced with PQC, QKD with secure key exchange by detecting eavesdropping, and QRNG with improving cryptographic randomness to remove the predictable key vulnerability. Only with a small loss of transaction efficiency, we increase transaction encryption accuracy, key exchange security, and resistance to quantum attacks. In this quantum enhanced blockchain design, the idea is to preserve the decentralization, transparency and security and at the same time overcome the future quantum threat. By going through rigorous analysis and comparative evaluation, we demonstrate that the approach saves blockchain networks from the emerging quantum risks to make sure that the decentralized finance, smart contracts and cross chain transactions. © (2025), (science and Information Organization).
