For manufacturing industry, scheduling problem is a very important problem. Good scheduling scheme can greatly improve the production efficiency of enterprises. The flexible job shop scheduling problem (FJSP) not only needs to arrange the processing sequence for the operations of each workpiece, but also needs to consider how to allocate machines to the operations to improve the processing efficiency. Dynamic flexible job shop scheduling problem (DFJSP) is based on FJSP, which studies how to dynamically reschedule enterprise production according to the actual situation when disturbance events occur, so as to minimize the impact of emergencies on production. For DFJSP under machine fault, this strategy can dynamically schedule in time for different states before and after the machine fault is repaired, maximize the use of workshop resources, and reduce the impact of machine fault on production. A scheduling scheme combining predictive scheduling and real-time scheduling is proposed for DFJSP under machine fault. Then the standard test cases are used to verify the scheduling scheme from multi-objective with NSGA-II. The experimental results show that the scheduling scheme is feasible. © 2022 IEEE.

An accurate and applicable battery model is of great significance for the effective management of electric vehicle's battery management systems. Based on the actual reaction mechanism inside the battery, a composite battery model is proposed in this paper. The proposed composite battery model considers important reactions such as charge transfer at the solid-liquid interface, solid-liquid phase diffusion of Li+, and gives a new way of characterizing some reactions based on the electrochemical model. In addition, the extended Kalman filter-based online parameter identification method makes the proposed battery model well-adapted to dynamic environments. The experimental results show that proposed composite battery model has higher model accuracy than the conventional equivalent circuit model, and the established online parameter identification model can make the proposed composite battery model better adapt to the dynamic environment. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Remote sensing technology plays a significant role in classifying and detecting on-ground objects accurately. Specifically, hyperspectral imagery outperforms other remote sensing tools in terms of its abundant spatial and spectral information. However, analyzing hyperspectral images is always hampered by their redundant spectral dimensionality. In this paper, we proposed a novel stacked dual-stream long short-term memory (LSTM) based feature extraction network (SDLSTMnet) for hyperspectral image classification. The whole network consists of two streams for spatial and spectral information, respectively. In this network, convolutional layers are absolutely removed because of their time-consuming calculating and optimizing processes. As a substitute, stacked LSTM layers are utilized to capture the spatial information within sample neighbourhoods. Notably, the latent sequential features are captured to simulate the neighbouring regions of samples. Furthermore, the sequential features along the spectral dimension are also extracted by stacked LSTM layers because these bands are continuous locally. Finally, the presented fusion module is capable to fuse and align these extracted features for classification. Multiple experiments are conducted to prove the effectiveness of the proposed SDLSTMnet. Compared with other state-of-the-art techniques, SDLSTMnet is capable to reduce the spectral dimension and increase the classification accuracies simultaneously. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

A new fault-tolerant controller is designed in this paper, which ensures the event-triggered leader-following consensus of multiple robotic manipulators subject to switching topologies. A Markov distributed sequence with a known probability transition matrix is employed to describe the switching communication topologies of multiple robotic manipulators. The investigated actuator fault model contains both constant and time-varying faults. Also, the norm-bounded conditions are utilized to denote the manipulators nonlinearities and additive noises. Furthermore, a set of output-based control gains are explicitly characterized via ensuring mean-square stability on dynamics of consensus errors. Finally, simulation results illustrate the designed consensus protocol can compensate actuator failure effectively. © 2022 IEEE.

The study of artificial intelligence (AI) has been a continuous endeavor of scientists and engineers for over 65 years. The simple contention is that human-created machines can do more than just labor-intensive work;they can develop human-like intelligence. Being aware or not, AI has penetrated into our daily lives, playing novel roles in industry, healthcare, transportation, education, and many more areas that are close to the general public. AI is believed to be one of the major drives to change socio-economical lives. In another aspect, AI contributes to the advancement of state-of-the-art technologies in many fields of study, as helpful tools for groundbreaking research. However, the prosperity of AI as we witness today was not established smoothly. During the past decades, AI has struggled through historical stages with several winters. Therefore, at this juncture, to enlighten future development, it is time to discuss the past, present, and have an outlook on AI. In this article, we will discuss from a historical perspective how challenges were faced on the path of revolution of both the AI tools and the AI systems. Especially, in addition to the technical development of AI in the short to mid-term, thoughts and insights are also presented regarding the symbiotic relationship of AI and humans in the long run. © The Author(s) 2022.

In fluorescence microscopy,computational algorithms have been developed to suppress noise,enhance contrast,and even enable super-resolution(SR).However,the local quality of the images may vary on multiple scales,and these differences can lead to *** mapping methods fail to finely estimate the local quality,challenging to associate the SR scale ***,we develop a rolling Fourier ring correlation(rFRC)method to evaluate the reconstruction uncertainties down to SR *** visually pinpoint regions with low reliability,a filtered rFRC is combined with a modified resolution-scaled error map(RSM),offering a comprehensive and concise map for further *** demonstrate their performances on various SR imaging modalities,and the resulting quantitative maps enable better SR images integrated from different ***,we expect that our framework can become a routinely used tool for biologists in assessing their image datasets in general and inspire further advances in the rapidly developing field of computational imaging.

Accurate estimation of battery state of charge (SOC) is critical for efficient and safe battery applications. The measurement uncertainties of sensors, including measurement noises and sensor bias will affect the estimation accuracy inevitably. Therefore, quantifying the relationship between the sensor measurement uncertainties and the SOC estimation errors and seeking better SOC estimation methods has been a hot topic of research. In this paper, model errors and SOC estimation errors under measurement noise and sensor bias are derived. The resulting analyses can be used to assess the robustness of the SOC estimates. In addition, an adaptive observer-based SOC estimation method for lithium-ion batteries is proposed to cope with the measurement uncertainty. Simulation experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2023 IEEE.

A fixed-time sliding mode controller is developed for the three-degree-of-freedom air-floating robot (AFR) in the presence of model uncertainties and external disturbances. By dynamics transformation, the complex nonlinear AFR dynamics are transformed into a second-order feedback decoupling model. A neural network enhanced by actor-critic learning structure is designed to handle model uncertainties, and the nonsingular fast terminal sliding mode controller can ensure all signals in the closed-loop system converge to a residual set around the origin within a fixed time. The system stability is proved by Lyapunov theory and the simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, a fully-actuated system prescribed performance controller is proposed to achieve attitude tracking control of the combined spacecraft. In order to make the combined spacecraft satisfy the required steady-state and transient performance in the attitude tracking control process, a fully actuated system controller with prescribed performance is proposed. The attitude dynamics model of the combined spacecraft is transformed into a tracking error function. Furthermore, the controller of the fully actuated system is designed according to the error function to realize the attitude tracking control of the combined spacecraft. Lyapunov function is introduced to prove the stability of the system. With the presented way of designing fully actuated system prescribed performance controller, the numerical simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Numerous researches emphasized that long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) plays a vital factor in various biological processes, and its mismatched expression and dysfunction are tightly linked with the occurrence of human diseases. Thus, computational models were designed to identify lncRNA-disease interactions by merging heterogeneous biological data. However, most of them neglected the intrinsic structure of multi-source information, which limits the performance for potential lncRNA-disease association prediction. Here, GCN-NIMC is introduced to alleviate the dilemma for disease-associated lncRNA genes identification based on the graph convolutional network with neural inductive matrix. This method builds a feature matrix with multi-source heterogeneous data and then learn the various information contained in the feature matrix for the sake of acquiring better feature expressions of the lncRNA-disease interactions. Experimental results on 10-repeated 5-fold cross-validation demonstrated that our proposed GCN-NIMC is superior to existing cutting-edge methods for identifying disease-related lncRNA genes. Furthermore, case studies confirmed our computational method as a practical tool with clinical benefits to develop the therapeutic schedule at lncRNA-level. © 2023 IEEE.
