An approach for active vibration control of a flexible plate structure using LMI-based H/sub /spl infin// robust control is presented in this paper. In contrast to the results of Kar et al, the proposed approach handles dynamic output feedback control problems. This practically attractive extension is derived by using specific transformations of Lyapunov variable with appropriate linearizing transformations of the controller variables, which gives rise to a tractable and practical LMI formulation of the vibration control problem. Based on LMI, a H/sub /spl infin// output feedback controller is designed to suppress the low-frequency vibrations caused by external disturbances and to guarantee the stability and performance of the closed-loop system under uncertainties. The simulation results show that the proposed robust active control method is efficient for active vibration suppression.

A genetic algorithm (GA) approach is presented to build the rough data model (RDM), which is a new methodology introduced by Kowalczyk in 1996 to deal with the inconsistence and uncertainty in database. Genetic algorithms (GAs) play two main roles in the proposed method: one is to select the best subset of the condition attributes, the other is to choose cut points from a candidate cuts set for discretization of the continuous valued attributes. The input space is then partitioned appropriately and a mapping relation between the input product subspaces and decision classes can be established. Moreover, a restricted genetic operator is designed for GAs to utilize the domain knowledge for faster convergence. Experimental results of two examples show the effectiveness of our approach.

A moving horizon H/sub /spl infin// disturbance attenuation scheme for active suspensions with time-domain constraints is suggested, where closed-loop dissipation and hence H/sub /spl infin// performance are guaranteed. By minimizing the performance level online, the closed-loop system is able to relax the performance requirement so as to meet hard constraints in the case of unforeseen large disturbances, and to recover a better performance in the case of generally mild disturbances. Simulation results for a 2 DOF quarter-car model are presented.

In this paper we firstly propose the concept of nonlinear correlation coefficient, which is sensitive to the general relationship between two variables. Based on that, nonlinear correlation information entropy is developed to measure the general relationship among a group of images. A performances evaluation method based on nonlinear correlation information entropy is developed. Furthermore, the performances of two widely used image fusion techniques, i.e. wavelet transform based fusion and pyramid transform based fusion operating on a typical hyperspectral image set, are evaluated using the proposed method. And the performances evaluation results are agreed with the comparison results of classification accuracy in real application, which further prove the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed measure.

This paper discusses the robust tracking problem of dynamic WMRs subject to nonholonomic constraints and actuator saturations. A moving horizon H ∞ tracking scheme is proposed, where a constrained H ∞ control problem is solved at each sampling time with the update of not only the initial condition but also the prediction model. Hence, the suggested scheme is potentially less conservative than those on fixed prediction models. Closed-loop properties are discussed in the framework of dissipation theory.

Integral input-to-state stability (iISS) of a class of nonlinear systems is investigated via satisficing decision theory in this paper. In particular, based on a new concept of control Lyapunov function (ilSS-CLF), a satisficing complete parameterization design of integral input-to-state stabilizing control laws that achieve iISS disturbance attenuation is discussed. A large family of the designed control laws has certain robustness to input disturbances and under some assumption can solve an inverse optimal gain assignment problem. The same method can also apply to the problem of integral input-output-to-state stabilization.

The yeast and *** shuttle vector pYES2 and Saccharomyce scerevisiae HI58 were *** influence of the sonication treatment on yeast LiAc/SS-DNA/PEG transformation protocol was studied,and four main factors that influenced the transformation efficiency were *** the optimized protocol,the recombinant plasmid pYES2-CBHI was transformed into *** results show that,sonication for 60 s can increase the transformation efficiency to 1.1×10～3 /μg *** when the treatment lasted more than 60 s,the efficiency decreased *** of the orthogonal experiment indicate mat group 5(sonication time 60 seconds,incubation 40 minutes,SS-DNA 150μg,heat shock time 5minutes) gave the best *** main affecting factor was the quantity of the *** transfonnants of pYES2-CBHI were identified and the results indicate that the recombinant plasmid was transformed into the yeast cells with high efficiency.

We designed a global optimization algorithm and a local optimization algorithm based on immune optimization, and then proposed an effective self-tuning scheme of fuzzy controller for time-variable plant. For a time-variable plant, the global optimization algorithm was adopted to optimize nominal controller offline. When the plant changed, new optimal controller could be rapidly obtained by local optimization, then it was switched into control to implement self-tuning control and improve the control performance. Simulations show that the system has strong robustness and can implement high accuracy control for some industrial plants, which strongly support its practical value.

According to NARX dynamic network, a learning algorithm of improved RTRL is presented in this paper and applied to adaptive inverse control system, which consists of two NARX neural networks: one is applied to identify the controlled plant; the other approximates inverse transfer function of the plant. The online training method using NARX is also described in detail. Practical simulation results show NARX-based identifier and controller are feasible and the given algorithm is efficient in the application of adaptive inverse control (AIC).

This paper is concerned with the problem of fuzzy guaranteed cost control of time-delay system with parametric uncertainties based on T-S model. By making out the singular value of the matrix, the biggest extension of uncertainty is found. Sufficient conditions for the existence of a control law and an upper bound of cost function for the closed-loop system are given in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI). It is proved that such an optimal fuzzy guaranteed cost control law exists. A procedure is given to select an optimal fuzzy guaranteed cost controller to minimize the upper bound of quadratic performance index.
