In recent years, with the continuous development of deep space technology, Mars exploration and Mars migration plans have attracted wide attention worldwide. On the one hand, future missions such as manned landing, Mars base construction, and hazardous area exploration put forward high precision requirements for Mars landing. On the other hand, Since Mars is far away from Earth, autonomous guidance is of vital importance. There has been a variety of research on the onboard trajectory optimization of pinpoint powered descent guidance. Polynomial guidance has been applied to practical missions. Meanwhile, guidance algorithms based on lossless convex optimization have also achieved great success and extended to missions such as low-thrust transfer, rendezvous and proximity operations. In the convex optimization method, the Eulerian discretization method is used in most studies to transform continuous problems into discrete problems. In contrast, the pseudospectral method using nonuniform orthogonal discrete points provides a more accurate and smoother solution with fewer nodes. There have been studies combining pseudospectral methods with convex optimization. However, the number of segments and collocated nodes is not easy to determine. As a result, as many segments and nodes as possible are needed to ensure the accuracy of the solution. Considering the limited computing power of onboard computers, the pseudospectral convex optimization is integrated with the hp-adaptative method. The proposed method ensures the guidance error is within a pre-set threshold throughout the process with as few nodes as possible. For one thing, the residual error of the midpoint of collocated nodes is calculated as the accuracy of the solution. For another thing, an adaptative approach is proposed when deciding to increase the number of segments or nodes. Furthermore, trust amplitude and cone constraints are considered in the paper to get closer to the actual situation. Finally, numerical

Thermal infrared camouflage technology has attracted increasing attention with the progress of infrared surveillance *** by honeycombs,a thermal infrared camouflage film with honeycomb sandwich structure based on fluid and temperature control is proposed to cloak objects and display false targets in the thermal infrared *** structure and manufacturing method of the film are introduced,and the fluid and temperature control system is established and tested to explore the thermal infrared characteristics of the film composed of different thermal *** camouflage performance of the film is intuitively displayed through the temperature frequency histograms of the infrared images photographed by an infrared *** temperature control accuracy of the thermal infrared camouflage system and the dynamic camouflage response of the film are evaluated by the temperature distribution map of each pixel in infrared images and the salient degree ***,the influential factors on the camouflage responding time are investigated,including the heating and cooling time of the liquid,the flow rate of pumps inside the driving module,and the energy loss along the liquid *** application of displaying false target is also introduced and *** results show that the camouflage film has a well camouflage effect and a wide adjustment temperature range,showing promise for a broad range of potential applications,such as counter-surveillance,thermal control and heat shielding.

The complex permeability of magnetic cores acts as a vital factor in electromagnetic interference (EMI) filtering choke design and optimization. Many efforts have been reported for toroid cores, but fewer target those with other shapes, such as EE, EI, UU, and UI cores. Owing to their commonly used in planar EMI filters, determining the complex permeability of them is of significance. Targeting EE cores, this paper presents a flexible printed circuit board (PCB)-based fixture adapter tailored designed for performing the measurement, while the corresponding core permeability can be calculated through magnetic flux path length analysis. The experiments validate the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed methods, spanning a wide frequency range up to 120 MHz. ©2024 IEEE.

Wind disturbance compensated path-following control for fixed-wing UAVs in arbitrarily strong winds

Wind is the primary challenge for low-speed fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles to follow a predefined flight *** cope with various wind conditions,this paper proposes a wind disturbance compensated path following control strategy where the wind disturbance estimate is incorporated with the nominal guiding vector field to provide the desired airspeed direction for the *** the control input vector for the outer-loop kinematic subsystem needs to satisfy a magnitude constraint,a scaling mechanism is introduced to tune the proportions of the compensation and nominal ***,an optimization problem is formulated to pursue a maximum wind compensation in strong winds,which can be solved analytically to yield two scaling factors.A cascaded inner-loop tracking controller is also designed to fulfill the outer-loop wind disturbance compensated guiding vector ***-fidelity simulation results under sensor noises and realistic winds demonstrate that the proposed path following algorithm is less sensitive to sensor noises,achieves promising accuracy in normal winds,and mitigates the deviation from a desired path in wild winds.

In this paper, a data-driven closed-loop system identification approach using canonical correlation analysis (CCA) is proposed. Based on the subspace identification methods (SIM), an auxiliary matrix is constructed by utilizing known controller information in the structure of the closed-loop system. With the help of the projection, the equivalent relationship between past input and future output is found, and the optimal identification of system parameters is implemented by using the CCA method. The proposed method solves the biased identification problem caused by the correlation between closed-loop input and noise. The main results are tested and verified via the numerical example, and the superiority of the identification estimation results of the proposed method is compared through different methods. © 2024 IEEE.

Electromagnetic acoustic emission (EMAE), an emerging and highly promising technology, has gained prominence for its ability to provide profound insights into material integrity evaluation while preserving the specimen integrity. Certain scholars have achieved successful detection of defect in aluminum specimens through the utilization of EMAE technology. However, a comprehensive exploration encompassing the principles, developments, advantages, and limitations pertaining to EMAE remains conspicuously absent within the extant literature. To address aforementioned concern, this paper presents a detailed study on the application of EMAE technology in non-destructive testing (NDT). It categorizes the findings on EMAE based on the distinct electromagnetic interaction mechanisms in ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic materials. Additionally, it elucidates the potential of EMAE technology in the detection and identification of rail defects. © 2023 IEEE.

A method for pulsar searching:combining a two-dimensional autocorrelation profile map and a deep convolutional neural network

In pulsar astronomy, detecting effective pulsar signals among numerous pulsar candidates is an important research topic. Starting from space X-ray pulsar signals, the two-dimensional autocorrelation profile map(2 D-APM) feature modelling method, which utilizes epoch folding of the autocorrelation function of X-ray signals and expands the time-domain information of the periodic axis, is proposed. A uniform setting criterion regarding the time resolution of the periodic axis addresses pulsar signals without any prior information. Compared with the traditional profile, the model has a strong anti-noise ability, a greater abundance of information and consistent characteristics. The new feature is simulated with double Gaussian components, and the characteristic distribution of the model is revealed to be closely related to the distance between the double peaks of the profile. Next, a deep convolutional neural network(DCNN)is built, named Inception-Res Net. According to the order of the peak separation and number of arriving photons, 30 data sets based on the Poisson process are simulated to construct the training set, and the observation data of PSRs B0531+21, B0540-69 and B1509-58 from the Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer(RXTE) are selected to generate the test set. The number of training sets and the number of test sets are 30 000 and 5400, respectively. After achieving convergence stability, more than 99% of the pulsar signals are recognized, and more than 99% of the interference is successfully rejected, which verifies the high degree of agreement between the network and the feature model and the high potential of the proposed method in searching for pulsars.

A change in neuronal-action potential can generate a magnetically induced current during the release and propagation of intracellular *** better characterize the electromagnetic-induction effect,this paper presents an improved discrete Rulkov(ID-Rulkov)neuron model by coupling a discrete model of a memristor with sine memductance into a discrete Rulkov neuron *** ID-Rulkov neuron model possesses infinite invariant points,and its memristor-induced stability effect is evaluated by detecting the routes of period-doubling and Neimark-Sacker *** investigated the memristor-induced dynamic effects on the neuron model using bifurcation plots and firing ***,we theoretically expounded the memristor initial-boosting mechanism of infinite coexisting *** results show that the ID-Rulkov neuron model can realize diverse neuron firing patterns and produce hyperchaotic attractors that are nondestructively boosted by the initial value of the memristor,indicating that the introduced memristor greatly benefits the original neuron *** hyperchaotic attractors initially boosted by the memristor were verified by hardware experiments based on a hardware *** addition,pseudorandom number generators are designed using the ID-Rulkov neuron model,and their high randomness is demonstrated based onstrict test results.

In this work, a problem of robust formation with collision avoidance (RFCA) for multiple Euler-Lagrange systems with communication delay is explored. The distributed robust formation control algorithm guaranteeing collision avoidance is presented. Firstly, utilizing classical repulsive potential functions solves the collision avoidance between agents. Secondly, by using the inequality technique to remove the effects from time delay during realizing formation mission, and estimations for uncertain terms are used in the controller design to compensate the nonlinear dynamics. In addition, the distributed RFCA control strategy is investigated such that all agents enable to achieve the desired formation configuration. Finally, an example is showcased to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed protocol. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

A fuel-optimal spacecraft rendezvous mission planning method considering orbital perturbation is proposed to address the fuel consumption problem of spacecraft completing rendezvous missions. Firstly, considering the constraints of total mission time and desired position, a model of orbital perturbation spacecraft considering non-spherical and atmospheric drag is constructed, and the adaptation function of fuel consumption for single-loop Lambert transfer considering orbital perturbation is designed. Based on this fitness function, an improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is designed to determine the first applied impulse time, the second applied impulse time, and the rendezvous time in the rendezvous mission planning, and then solve the two applied impulse sizes with the minimum fuel consumption to complete the spacecraft rendezvous mission. Finally, simulation experiments with a set of spacecraft rendezvous missions are conducted to verify the practicality and effectiveness of the method. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.
