In this article, we analyze how spacecraft formation can save more fuel and achieve more accurate relative position motion in the configuration control under the influence of external disturbances and perturbations. A non-singular fast terminal sliding mode controller(NFTSMC) combined with Super-Twisting extended state observer(STESO) is proposed for disturbance rejection control of spacecraft formation configuration. In this paper, we will establish the kinematics model of spacecraft relative motion, and linearize this model. Then, the convergence of STESO and the stability of the combination of NFTSMC and STESO are analyzed respectively. Finally, sufficient numerical simulations will be provided to verify the feasibility of the algorithm. © 2023 IEEE.

This study aimed to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of fruit sorting through the development of a collaborative robotic vision recognition system based on neural networks. Leveraging convolutional neural networks (CNNs), a substantial dataset of fruit images was collected, preprocessed, and utilized for training. The core algorithm employed was the neural network, particularly effective in pattern recognition and feature extraction. Integration with the control system of collaborative robots allowed real-time fruit identification and analysis using visual sensors during sorting. The system's design considered optimization and acceleration of neural networks, incorporating advanced deep learning techniques like CNNs and recurrent neural networks. This fusion of collaborative robots, neural networks, and visual recognition technologies significantly improved fruit sorting efficiency and accuracy. The automated sorting process achieved through thoughtful system design and optimization reduces labor costs and enhances productivity. Despite notable progress in the design and research of collaborative robotic and neural network-based vision recognition systems, challenges and areas for improvement persist. Future work may involve further optimizing neural network models for increased precision and robustness and refining collaborative robot control strategies for more complex task collaboration. The collaborative robotic and neural network-based vision recognition system opens new possibilities in the field of fruit sorting, propelling the industry towards intelligent and efficient practices, thereby creating greater economic and societal value. © 2024 The Authors.

Membrane fouling is a bottleneck issue that hindered the further application of ultrafiltration *** alleviate membrane fouling,coagulation-ultrafiltration(C-UF)process using polyaluminum chloride(PACl)and PACl-Al_(13)with high proportion of Al_(13)O_(4)(OH)_(24)^(7+)as coagulants,respectively,were investigated at various pH *** indicated that an increase in solution pH contributed to larger floc size and looser floc structure for both PACl and PACl-Al_(13).It was conducive to the formation of more porous cake,as evidenced by mean pore area and pore area distribution of cake,leading to lower reversible ***,humic acid(HA)removal presented a trend of first increasing and then decreasing with the increase of *** optimal HA removal was achieved at pH 6 regardless of coagulant type,suggesting that the slightest irreversible fouling should be occurred at this ***,the irreversible fouling with PACl coagulant achieved a minimum value at pH 9,while the minimal irreversible fouling with PACl-Al_(13)was observed at pH *** speculated that the cake formed by PACl could further intercept HA prior to UF process at alkaline ***,compared with PACl,PACl-Al_(13)had a stronger charge neutralization ability,thus contributing to more compact floc structure and higher HA removal at various pH *** UF fractionation measurement,higher HA removal for PACl-Al_(13)was due to higher removal of HA with molecular weight less than 50 kDa.

This paper investigates the fault-tolerant (FT) performance and inductances in a modular permanent magnet (PM) in-wheel motor. First, according to the working mechanism and main faulty types of the modular FT motor, the slot-pole combination with high FT performance for the modular motor is developed. The relationship between the FT performance and the inductance parameters is linked through the magnetic coupling coefficient. Second, the electromagnetic characteristics of the modular in-wheel motor under open-circuit fault and interturn short-circuit (SC) are investigated respectively. The influence of inductance on FT performance under open-circuit faults and interturn SC fault are investigated respectively. The design requirement for the inductance of this kind of motors is proposed. © 2023 IEEE.

Accurate State of Health (SOH) estimation is of great significance for battery maintenance and safe driving of electric vehicles. This paper first constructs effective aging features based on the characteristics of similar triangles formed by the charging voltage curve, and then designs an aging feature extracting strategy considering the battery's actual usage conditions. To establish an accurate SOH estimation model, particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to optimize the parameters of Extreme Learning Machine (ELM). The experimental results show that the constructed aging features are reasonable, and the established optimized ELM-based data-driven model has a high SOH estimation accuracy. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Remote sensing technology plays a significant role in classifying and detecting on-ground objects accurately. Specifically, hyperspectral imagery outperforms other remote sensing tools in terms of its abundant spatial and spectral information. However, analyzing hyperspectral images is always hampered by their redundant spectral dimensionality. In this paper, we proposed a novel stacked dual-stream long short-term memory (LSTM) based feature extraction network (SDLSTMnet) for hyperspectral image classification. The whole network consists of two streams for spatial and spectral information, respectively. In this network, convolutional layers are absolutely removed because of their time-consuming calculating and optimizing processes. As a substitute, stacked LSTM layers are utilized to capture the spatial information within sample neighbourhoods. Notably, the latent sequential features are captured to simulate the neighbouring regions of samples. Furthermore, the sequential features along the spectral dimension are also extracted by stacked LSTM layers because these bands are continuous locally. Finally, the presented fusion module is capable to fuse and align these extracted features for classification. Multiple experiments are conducted to prove the effectiveness of the proposed SDLSTMnet. Compared with other state-of-the-art techniques, SDLSTMnet is capable to reduce the spectral dimension and increase the classification accuracies simultaneously. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

As a kind of on-orbit servicing technology, on-orbit refueling (OOR) has essential significance in prolonging the lifetime of satellites and decreasing the generation of space debris, especially for the expensive satellites located in geosynchronous orbit (GEO). Recently, several one-to-one mode-based OOR missions have been successfully conducted in space. To further reduce the economic cost, the mode of using several refuel satellites (RS) to refuel some dozens of client satellites (CS) in one mission has been proposed, that is, the many-to-many OOR mode. To maximize the efficiency of this mode, the mission optimization problem that determines the refueling sequence and time should be further investigated. The mission optimization is usually carried out before the OOR mission starts, and the fuel demand of CS is obtained in advance. However, the OOR mission for multiple GEO CSs usually takes a long time, and some temporarily unrefueled CSs may perform orbit maintenance by consuming the remaining fuel, leading to a time-varying fuel demand change. In this case, performing the initial mission optimization results may lead to efficiency reduction or even mission failure. To address this problem, in this paper, a many-to-many mode-based OOR mission optimization model is established considering the time-varying fuel demands, and a differential evolution (DE) based algorithm is designed to solve the problem. Firstly, a remaining fuel varying law is obtained according to the periodic orbit maintenance strategy of GEO CSs. Based on that, the mission profit model is further established. Then, by additionally considering several constraints like RS fuel capacity, mission duration, and orbital maneuver duration, the mission optimization model is established. Next, by taking the refueling sequence, the instant of refueling begins as the design variable, and a modified DE is designed to solve the problem.
