Nonlinear vibration response characteristics of a dual-rotor-bearing system with squeeze film damper

Rolling bearing and Squeeze Film Damper(SFD)are used in rotor support structures,and most researches on the nonlinear rotor-bearing system are focused on the simple rotor-bearing *** work emphasizes the comparative analysis of the influence of SFD on the nonlinear dynamic behavior of the dual-rotor system supported by rolling ***,a reduced dynamic model is established by combining the Finite Element(FE)method and the freeinterface method of component mode *** proposed model is verified by comparing the natural characteristics obtained from an FE model with those from the ***,the steady-state vibration responses of the system with or without SFD are solved by the numerical integration *** influences of the ball bearing clearance,unbalance,centralizing spring stiffness and oil film clearance of SFD on the nonlinear steady-state vibration responses of the dual-rotor system are *** show that SFD can effectively suppress the amplitude jump of the dual rotor system sustaining two rotors unbalance *** the ball bearing clearance or unbalance increases,the amplitude jump phenomenon becomes more obvious,the resonance hysteresis phenomenon strengthens or weakens,the resonant peaks shift to the left or the right,*** with unreasonable parameters will aggravate the system vibration,the smaller the oil film clearance,the better the damping performance of the SFD,the larger the centralizing spring stiffness is,the larger resonance amplitudes are.

This paper presents a distributed shadow dynamic consensus (DSDC) framework to address the generation company (GENCO) strategic bidding problem in the independent system operator (ISO) operation. First, each sub-group is defined according to the communication principle. The global resource allocation can be solved by introducing the local shadow power demand. Then, for the general market clearing optimization problem, a distributed dynamic consensus algorithm is presented to estimate the general equality constraint. The optimal locational marginal price (LMP) and power allocation in each sub-group are obtained in this step. Finally, the optimal solution is corrected when considering the transmission constraint. A theoretical analysis of the DSDC framework is provided. The algorithm and model are tested by the IEEE 30-bus test system to support the proposed DSDC framework.

We have developed a stress testing approach to determine the boundary values of indicators of the economic state of backbone non-financial enterprises when managing them according to the criterion of the cash balance. One of the principal indicators affected by the pandemic is considered - the change in the company's revenue. The formulation and method of determining the permissible change in revenue at which the enterprise will maintain normal functioning are proposed. As a condition for normal functioning, the non-negativity of the company's cash balance projected for the next year is assumed. From this condition, the permissible change in revenue is determined based on the obtained analytical expression and data from open sources, making it possible to reduce the complexity of determining the boundary values of the indicator. We analyzed the actual data for 2020 and compared it with the calculated results. We propose to use the concept of stress testing to select government-supported enterprises in a pandemic. © 2021 IEEE.

With the increase of research on autonomous vehicles, the evaluation research of autonomous vehicles has gradually attracted attention. Effective evaluation of autonomous vehicles can ensure the safety of autonomous vehicles and improve their level of intelligence. The current related research focuses on the evaluation of vehicles in terms of safety and comfort, while there are few studies on the evaluation of the learning ability of autonomous vehicles from the time dimension. Therefore, this article proposes three learning indicators: learning time, learning speed and learning capacity. These three indicators are used to measure the learning ability of autonomous driving algorithms. By analyzing the learning curve of the vehicle algorithm, the evaluation results of three learning indicators can be obtained. Thus the learning ability of the automatic driving algorithm can be evaluated. The differences in different vehicle algorithms can also be compared. In this article, taking the parking algorithm based on reinforcement learning as an example, simulation examples and analysis of the three learning indicators proposed are carried out. © 2021 IEEE

3D Multi-Object Tracking (MOT) is an important part of the unmanned vehicle perception module. Most methods optimize object detection and data association independently. These methods make the network structure complicated and limit the improvement of MOT accuracy. we proposed a 3D MOT framework based on simultaneous optimization of object detection and scene flow estimation. In the framework, a detection-guidance scene flow module is proposed to relieve the problem of incorrect inter-frame assocation. For more accurate scene flow label especially in the case of motion with rotation, a box-transformation-based scene flow ground truth calculation method is proposed. Experimental results on the KITTI MOT dataset show competitive results over the state-of-the-arts and the robustness under extreme motion with rotation. © 2022, CC BY-NC-SA.

Substation is the core hub of power system. With the expansion of the scale of the power system and the improvement of its intelligence, the problems of the redundancy of architecture and equipment in the protection and monitoring system of substation can no longer be ignored. This paper proposes an evaluation method for integration in the protection and monitoring system based on G1 method. Firstly, according to the requirements of integration in the protection and monitoring system, the corresponding indicators are proposed to form an index system for evaluating integration. And then, an evaluation method is proposed for integration of the protection and monitoring system, based on G1 method and expert investigation. Finally, the feasibility of the evaluation method is verified by comparing and analyzing the evaluation results of a typical substation and its structural optimization substation. © 2023 IEEE.

The development of the Industrial Internet of Things (1IoT) has given rise to massive information from the networked controllers, sensors and actuators, leading to the increasing demands for real-time and reliable transmission. Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) provides the deterministic mechanism guar-antee for these demands, but with an open scheduling problem. For the low-latency and low-jitter traffic, it is hard to schedule in a scalable way, that is, increasing the scheduling speed under the Quality-of-Service (QoS) requirements. Therefore, this paper constructs a no-wait forwarding (NW-TAS) model with a time-aware shaper to eliminate the queuing delay and jitter, and further converts it into a flow-aware model by divisibility theory for scheduling simplification. With the converted model, an interval transformation-based method is proposed to get the analytical expression of feasible scheduling for each flow. Then, a flow-aware NW- TAS scheduling algorithm (FANS) with cyclic interval searching is designed to compress invalid search spaces. The evaluation results show that our method decreases the transmission latency of 1000 flows by more than 23 % while increasing the scheduling speed by 43x than the existing works.

In existing protection and monitoring system of substation(S-PMS), there are compatibility problems between hardware and software or between software-hardware combinations and systems, including differences in communication protocols between different manufacturers and differences in system adaptation. Compatibility issues have become a growing focus area for the power industry. This paper proposes a method to evaluates the compatibility of the protection and monitoring system of substation based on the G1 and expert investigation, for the existing or unbuilt substations. In detail, Firstly, according to the compatibility requirements of the substation protection and monitoring system, corresponding indicators are proposed and a comprehensive compatibility evaluation model is constructed. Secondly, based on the comprehensive evaluation model, the evaluation results of typical stations without domestic chips and optimized stations using domestic chips are compared to verify the feasibility of the proposed method. © 2023 IEEE.

Meticulous 3D environment representations have been a longstanding goal in computer vision and robotics fields. The recent emergence of neural implicit representations has introduced radical innovation to this field as implicit representations enable numerous capabilities. Among these, the Neural Radiance Field (NeRF) has sparked a trend because of the huge representational advantages, such as simplified mathematical models, compact environment storage, and continuous scene representations. Apart from computer vision, NeRF has also shown tremendous potential in the field of robotics. Thus, we create this survey to provide a comprehensive understanding of NeRF in the field of robotics. By exploring the advantages and limitations of NeRF, as well as its current applications and future potential, we hope to shed light on this promising area of research. Our survey is divided into two main sections: The Application of NeRF in Robotics and The Advance of NeRF in Robotics, from the perspective of how NeRF enters the field of robotics. In the first section, we introduce and analyze some works that have been or could be used in the field of robotics from the perception and interaction perspectives. In the second section, we show some works related to improving NeRF's own properties, which are essential for deploying NeRF in the field of robotics. In the discussion section of the review, we summarize the existing challenges and provide some valuable future research directions for reference. © 2024, CC BY-NC-ND.

The integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) into robotics has revolutionized human-robot interactions and autonomous task planning. However, these systems are often unable to self-correct during the task execution, which hinders their adaptability in dynamic real-world environments. To address this issue, we present an LLM-based Hierarchical Closed-loop Robotic Intelligent Self-correction Planner (HiCRISP), an innovative framework that enables robots to correct errors within individual steps during the task execution. HiCRISP actively monitors and adapts the task execution process, addressing both high-level planning and low-level action errors. Extensive benchmark experiments, encompassing virtual and real-world scenarios, showcase HiCRISP’s exceptional performance, positioning it as a promising solution for robotic task planning with LLMs. Copyright © 2023, The Authors.
