The preparation of polycrystalline GaAs films by using electrodeposition technology is described in this paper. Using scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, spectrophotometry and capacitance voltage testing. we have measured the characteristics of the films prepared. The results show that the stoichiometry of the film is Ga0.91As1.09. On the basis of a Mott-Schottky plot, the position of the energy band edges of the film is calculated. Finally, the photoelectrochemical characteristic of the Ga0.91As1.09 film/electrolyte junction is measured.

Based on a p-posed complete parametric approach for eigenstructure assignment in multivariable linear systems via dynamical compensators, insightful parametrizations of the closed loop eigenvalues sensitivities to the perturbed elements in the open loop system matrices are obtained, and an effective algorithm for eigenvalue assignment with minimum sensitivity in multivariable linear systems via dynamical compensators is then proposed. The algorithm does not contain 'going back' procedures, and allows the closed loop eigenvalues to be conveniently optimized within desired regions. A numerical example demonstrates its effect, simplicity and numerical property.

Based on a newly proposed eigenstructure assignment result and the matrix eigenvalue sensitivity theory, a simple effective algorithm for robust pole assignment in multivariable linear systems via output feedback is presented, which gives a robust solution in the sense that the closed-loop eigenvalues are as insensitive as possible to perturbations in the system coefficient matrices. The algorithm does not contain 'going back' procedures, and may conveniently include closed-loop eigenvalues as optimising parameters, and also possesses good numerical property and better optimality. Computational results show its effect and simplicity.

A fault diagnosis system of the inertial component automatic test system is founded by using the theories .techniques and methods of knowledge engineering. The diagnosis system can improve the diagnosis rate by using other kinds of knowledge on the baiss of the hierarchy diagnosis model. The robust output feedback control of linear systems with cone-bounded nonlinear perturbations is considered. By using the Lyapunov approach, a sufficient robust stability condition for the closed-loop system is obtained, which is expressed in terms of closed-loop eigenvalues and eigenvectors. Based on this condition and a parametric eigenstructure assignment result, an algorithm for robust output feedback controller synthesis is presented, which ensures not only the robust stability, but also the robust performance to a certain degree. The approach has the advantage of allowing the nominal closed-loop eigenvalues to be optimized within any desired region, and the closed-loop eigenvalues so determined are naturally insensitive to small parameter perturbations in the open-loop system coefficient matrices.< >

A special least squares (SLS) method is proposed which is based on minimizing the sum of squared relative deviations. The author analyzes the problem of classical least squares (LS) in fitting a static characteristic equation and points out the shortcomings of the LS method under some experimental conditions. It is noted that the proposed SLS method could overcome the shortcomings. The formulas of SLS are given and its mathematical characteristics are analyzed. Under the given conditions, this method is unbiased, consistent, and efficient. An example is given of fitting a static characteristic equation of a potentiometer by using the SLS method. The results show that, under the given experimental conditions, the SLS method is superior to the traditional LS method.< >
