To solve the problem of space debris,a film capture pocket system is designed in this *** film capture pocket is more flexible and reliable,compared with the space rope *** film capture pocket system contains many flexible structures that are prone to large deformation and vibration during *** deformation causes large disturbances to the service *** is necessary to establish an accurate rigid-flexible coupling dynamic model for quantitative analysis of ***,a film dynamic model is developed using high-order absolute nodal coordinate ***,an attitude tracking control law is designed by using the fast nonsingular terminal sliding mode controller and fixed time dilation observer(FxESO).Finally,combining dynamics and control principles,a virtual prototype of spacecraft with film capture pocket system is *** simulation results show that higher-order absolute nodal coordinate formulation elements have better convergence,compared to ABAQUS finite element ***,the dynamic model simulates the deformation and vibration states of large flexible structures,during the spacecraft *** FxESO can estimate and compensate the complex *** error under fast nonsingular terminal sliding mode+FxESO control law converge more rapidly than the nonsingular terminal sliding mode+expansion observer control *** final spacecraft attitude tracking error is about 10−4,indicating the effectiveness of the controller.

Output-Based Secure control under False Data Injection Attacks

This paper investigates the problem of cyber-physical systems in the presence of false data injection attacks. When the communication network connects the controller and the actuator, malicious adversaries can execute false data injection attacks to modify the control commands, deteriorating the performance of the system. A more general attack model is established to describe false data injection attacks including multiplicative and additive attacks. To effectively mitigate such attacks, an output-based secure controller is designed. Sufficient criteria are derived to guarantee that the cyber-physical system under such attacks is stochastically stable. Furthermore, a condition is proposed to design the secure control gain using singular value decomposition, providing a more specific form of the controller. Finally, simulation results are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed secure control scheme. © 2023 IEEE.

Switching power supplies are widely used in aerospace, new energy and many other fields. During long-term operation, various electronic components in these supplies experience performance degradation due to continuous electrical and thermal stress, leading to changes in output characteristics. This is the fundamental reason affecting the reliability of switching power supplies. However, the current combination of physics of failure (PoF) models and simulation technique is imperfect, and most methods cannot achieve batch injection of multiple device failures. This paper proposes a reliability prediction simulation method for switching power supplies based on PoF model injection. By focusing on a switching circuit, the approach involves digital twin modeling and validation, failure mechanism and sensitivity analysis, key failure components degradation modeling, and batch degradation simulation. This method achieves continuous degradation data of multiple components based on the PoF model through batch injection, improving the efficiency and accuracy of reliability prediction for switching power supplies. © 2024 IEEE.

In recent years, computer aided technology is increasingly applied to the classification of thyroid ultrasonic planes for calculating the thyroid volume, and then the disease can be diagnosed by its volume. However, these methods requiring greater computational power are not suitable for the portable ultrasound system with limited performance. Based on Bayesian optimization of multi-feature parameters, an improved classification method of ultrasonic thyroid planes is proposed in this paper for low computational complexity with a high classification accuracy. Local Binary Patterns (LBP) feature and Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM) feature are selected by the analysis of image texture information, and then the combined feature is utilized to investigate the effectiveness of different classifiers. Furthermore, Bayesian optimization is employed to obtain the optimal parameters of the combined feature for improving classification results, and the accuracy can reach up to 96.81%. The results clearly illustrate that the improved method is effective in classifying the ultrasonic thyroid planes under a low computational complexity. © 2023 Technical Committee on control theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

In this article, we introduce a time-delay approach to extremum seeking (ES) for scalar static quadratic maps with measurement noise. The approach involves transforming the ES system into a time-delay neutral type system with stochastic perturbations, which guarantees the stability of the original ES system. Using a Lyapunov-Krasovskii (L-K) method, explicit conditions are established for the mean-square ultimate boundedness of the ES control systems. These conditions are expressed in terms of LMIs and depend on the intensity of measurement noise, tuning parameters, and a known arbitrarily large constant L that bounds the 6th moment of the estimation error. Compared to existing results for ES with measurement noise obtained via qualitative analysis, our approach provides a quantitative analysis via a time-delay approach to averaging. A numerical example is provided to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed method. © 2023 IEEE.

A deep learning framework based on generative adversarial networks (GAN) for ovarian ultrasound (US) images synthesis is investigated. This method offers an effective solution for addressing the issue of insufficient and unbalanced data in ovarian disease research. The proposed network, built on the Triple-GAN model, can synthesize a large number of medical ovarian US images which are difficult to distinguish from the real ones. This approach effectively increases the available volume of the ultrasound images of ovarian diseases and facilitates deep learning applications in ovarian ultrasound images. It provides reliable training data replacements. The generated data were validated through professional appraisal, classification method and image metrics. The results demonstrated high credibility and quality. The feasibility of using the generated data in the intelligent classification algorithm of ovarian diseases is verified, which has important practical significance for the research and development of artificial intelligence diagnosis algorithms for various diseases in the future. © 2023 IEEE.

Aggressive and robust low-level control and trajectory tracking for quadrotors with deep reinforcement learning

Executing accurate trajectory tracking tasks using a high-performance low-level controller is crucial for quadrotors to be applied in various scenarios, especially those involving uncertain disturbances. However, due to the uncertainties in disturbed environments, developing effective low-level controllers with traditional model-based control schemes is challenging. This paper presents an aggressive and robust reinforcement learning (RL)-based low-level control policy for quadrotors. The policy maps the observed quadrotor state directly to motor thrust commands, without requiring the quadrotor dynamics. Additionally, a trajectory generation pipeline is developed to improve the accuracy of trajectory tracking tasks based on differential flatness. With the learned low-level control policy, extensive simulations and real-world experiments are implemented to validate the performance of the policy. The results indicate that our RL-based low-level control policy outperforms traditional proportional–integral–derivative (PID) control methods and related learning-based policies in terms of accuracy and robustness, particularly in environments with uncertain disturbances. Furthermore, the proposed RL-based control policy exhibits an aggressive response in trajectory tracking, even when the speed of the desired trajectory is increased to 6 m/s. Moreover, the learned policy demonstrates strong vibration suppression capabilities and enables the quadrotor to recover to a hovering state from random initial conditions with shorter response time. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature 2024.

In this paper, a fully-actuated system prescribed performance controller is proposed to achieve attitude tracking control of the combined spacecraft. In order to make the combined spacecraft satisfy the required steady-state and transient performance in the attitude tracking control process, a fully actuated system controller with prescribed performance is proposed. The attitude dynamics model of the combined spacecraft is transformed into a tracking error function. Furthermore, the controller of the fully actuated system is designed according to the error function to realize the attitude tracking control of the combined spacecraft. Lyapunov function is introduced to prove the stability of the system. With the presented way of designing fully actuated system prescribed performance controller, the numerical simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2023 Technical Committee on control theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

In this article, a distributed event-triggered H∞ consensus control strategy is proposed for secondary voltage control of microgrids (MGs) to reduce communication and computational burden. The event-triggered is implemented based on periodic sampling. By using the Lyapunov method to design the triggering conditions and sampling period of the distributed generators (DGs), DGs only communicate with their neighbors under certain specific event conditions, and the event triggering conditions are only calculated at the sampling time. Therefore, it avoids continuous communication and the calculation of continuous event-triggered conditions, thereby reducing the communication and computational burden. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the control strategy. © 2023 IEEE.

Wind is the primary challenge for low-speed fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles to follow a predefined flight *** cope with various wind conditions,this paper proposes a wind disturbance compensated path following control strategy where the wind disturbance estimate is incorporated with the nominal guiding vector field to provide the desired airspeed direction for the *** the control input vector for the outer-loop kinematic subsystem needs to satisfy a magnitude constraint,a scaling mechanism is introduced to tune the proportions of the compensation and nominal ***,an optimization problem is formulated to pursue a maximum wind compensation in strong winds,which can be solved analytically to yield two scaling factors.A cascaded inner-loop tracking controller is also designed to fulfill the outer-loop wind disturbance compensated guiding vector ***-fidelity simulation results under sensor noises and realistic winds demonstrate that the proposed path following algorithm is less sensitive to sensor noises,achieves promising accuracy in normal winds,and mitigates the deviation from a desired path in wild winds.
