The synthesis of a single-channel broadband device for receiving and primary processing of radio signals that employs the pulse compression technique is presented given the case where its input signals are received in conditions of their structural-parametric a priori uncertainty. The synthesis was carried out based on the mathematical apparatus of the theory of statistical decisions and on the discrete signal representation in the time-frequency domain. The results of prototyping and experimental studies concerning the receiver that was synthesized in accordance with the structural-functional diagram on the basis of spectrum analyzer with pulse compression technique (SAPCT) are briefly presented. An experiment is described that allowed us to verify the possibilities of obtaining the Fourier transform with regard to the elements of input signals, as well as possibilities of detecting and measuring the frequency-time parameters of these signals. These parameters allow us to figure out the structure and characteristics of input signal bursts [6].

Immersive technologies are becoming increasingly popular in a wide range of fields from gaming to therapy. While there is a high number of case studies in education with promising results in terms of students' performance and engagement, there has still not been widespread adoption. Indeed, more research focused on large-size samples, assessing and discussing the effects on the medium and large term is required, as well as comparisons among different hardware and software, and guidelines for instructors that want to introduce these technologies in their classrooms. In this paper, we focus on the use of immersive technologies applications in higher education. In particular, we explain the basics of immersive technologies, review the main applications in higher education, discuss benefits and challenges, and describe good practices for instructors.

As computers with manycore architecture are being widely spread, parallel programming becomes a pending issue. While parallel programming has been a challenging issue, Haskell is known to be of the best available one. The immutability and declarative nature of Haskell suit well the need for parallelism. In our previous work, we implemented the SAM, a parallel programming model based on Haskell. In this paper, we propose the SSAM, an updated version of SAM, by solving the performance overhead of SAM socket. We discuss the architecture of SSAM and its major functions and show the 14% scalability upgrade in a performance test.

Recently, cloud computers are widely used due to the development of computing environment and network speed. Unikernel is considered to be an attractive operating system in the manycore environment that effectively provides cloud computers. HalVM is a unikernel coded in Haskell. In this paper, we analyze the performance of Haskell running in a unikernel, which has shown good parallel programming performance in a manycore environment. In this paper, we analyze the performance of Haskell running in a unikernel, while Haskell has shown good performance in a manycore environment. To do this, we select HaLVM as the target operating system and analyze the performance by testing various Haskell parallel programming models. Test result shows that HaLVM is scalable only on IVC. We also implement a library to make programming with IVC more convenient, and use this library to compare extensibility experiments. Our test shows HaLVM's scalability is 112.42% higher than Linux environment.

Memristor devices with the Au/Ag/h-BN/Fe structure have been fabricated and characterized. The switching voltages, and other newly-defined parameters extracted, like V 2dmax1 and V 2dmax2 , have been analyzed statistically in an exhaustive manner. The conduction across the memristor can be described well with a Quantum Point Contact (QPC) model that accounts for quantized filamentary conduction. The distributions of set and reset voltages have been proved to be accurately reproduced by using Weibull distributions. We also present an analysis making use of phase-type distributions to characterize the measured data stochasticity.
