Electricity is one of the basic needs in the era of technological development, where all equipment must use electricity to operate such as computer, so that it requires a system that can monitor power consumption at computer cluster. To monitoring power consumption using WCS1800 to current sensor and microcontroller Atmega32 to data sensor process, and serial communication to send data to display at personal computer. From test system having two result, first is power consumption at computer cluster starting, where current value range is 0 to 38A with power consumption is 0 to 8360 watt. And second is power consumtion at computer cluster execution progran, current value is 27 to 40 A, with power consumption 5940 to 8800 watt. From this system has been design, the power consumption at computer cluster can be monitored and known value of energy consumption.

In this paper we study a particle under the influence of a Lennard-Jones potential moving in a simple quantum wire modelled by the positive half-line. Despite its physical significance, this potential is only rarely studied in the literature and due to its singularity at the origin it cannot be considered as a standard perturbation of the one-dimensional Laplacian. It is therefore our aim to provide a thorough description of the full Hamiltonian in one dimension via the construction of a suitable quadratic form. Our results include a discussion of spectral and scattering properties which finally allows us to generalise some results from [Rob74] as well as [RS78].MSC Codes 81Q10, 81Q37, 81Q80, 81Q35, 47E05, 47D08 Copyright © 2018, The Authors. This work develops a compact 9 GHz microwave imaging system. The core of the system is a vector network analyzer (VNA) which utilizes range-correlation architecture to suppress the phase noise of the received signal. To overcome the bottleneck that conventional mixer-based phase detectors have limited phase detection range, a novel quadrature phase detection algorithm is proposed. The experimental results show that the microwave imaging system can well detect the bone image of a chicken wing.

Torque ripple reduction of Brushless DC Motors (BLDCs) with concentrated winding is an attractive subject in variable speed AC drives. In ideal BLDC with trapezoidal back-EMF torque ripple elimination can be achieved using rectangular stator current, while in motors with non-ideal back-EMF, feeding the rectangular current leads to more torque ripple. In this paper at first, a mathematical expression for torque ripple harmonics is done. Then for a non-ideal BLDC motor with known harmonic contents of back-EMF, calculation of desired reference current amplitudes, which are required to eliminate some selected harmonics of torque ripple, is reviewed. In order to inject the reference currents to the motor windings, an adaptive input-output feedback linearization control is proposed, which generates the reference voltages for three phases Voltage Source Inverter (VSI). Also, this method is robust against the motor parameter variations like as stator's resistance and leakage inductance. The effectiveness of the proposed method is evaluated with simulation in the two harmonic selection methods. © 2017 IEEE.

The recently created IETF 6TiSCH working group combines the high reliability and low-energy consumption of IEEE 802.15.4e Time Slotted Channel Hopping with IPv6 for industrial Internet of Things. We propose a distributed link scheduling algorithm, called Local Voting, for 6TiSCH networks that adapts the schedule to the network conditions. The algorithm tries to equalize the link load (defined as the ratio of the queue length over the number of allocated cells) through cell reallocation. Local Voting calculates the number of cells to be added or released by the 6TiSCH Operation Sublayer (6top). Compared to a representative algorithm from the literature, Local Voting provides simultaneously high reliability and low end-to-end latency while consuming significantly less energy. Its performance has been examined and compared to On-the-fly algorithm in 6TiSCH simulator by modeling an industrial environment with 50 sensors.

The upcoming migration of satellite services to higher bands, namely, the Ka- and Q/V-bands, offers many advantages in terms of bandwidth and system capacity. However, it poses challenges as propagation effects introduced by the various atmospheric phenomena are particularly pronounced in these bands and can become a serious constraint in terms of system reliability and performance. This paper presents the goals, organisation, and preliminary results of an ongoing large-scale European coordinated propagation campaign using the Alphasat Aldo Paraboni Ka/Q band signal payload on satellite, performed by a wide scientific consortium in the framework of a European Space Agency (ESA) project. The main objective of this activity is the experimental characterisation of the spatial and temporal correlation over Europe of the radio channel at Ka and Q band for future modelling activities and to collect data for development and testing of fading mitigation techniques. © 2019 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

The emergence of artificial neural networks (ANNs) caused a great revolution in the knowledge area of pattern-classification and contributed to the fast development of intelligent systems. For an ANN to be effective, its topology parameters must be set up, such as learning rate, number of layers, and number of neurons. Therefore, optimization algorithms can be used to produce more efficient ANNs. In this paper, we propose a genetic algorithm (GA) to better estimate parameters of an ANN applied to the classification of the type, strength, and orientation of different hand movements from electromyography signals. Acquired data signals were first processed with the Wavelet Transform (WT) to extract the most important features. These features were presented to the optimized hybrid intelligent system (HIS) composed of ANNs and the optimization GA. Classification results are promising, presenting accuracy rates above 90% and reliability rate of 98%. These results support the use of HIS in practical applications such as smart prostheses and automatic medical evaluations.

The demand on distribution network reconfiguration abilities is increasing. This paper proposes a Finite State Automaton model of a distribution network that deals with topologically safe reconfiguration. Autonomous operation of distribution networks can be designed, analysed and implemented in day-to-day operation with the aid of these automata: through supervisory control. Two approaches to supervisor design are proposed. One for the normal operating mode and the other for the contingency mode. Simple and comprehensive examples illustrate the approaches.

In our previous work, we presented new reconfigurable underwater sensor network architectures that minimize both the end-to-end delay and the power consumption of the network [1]. The idea was to have dynamic architectures configured on the basis of the network parameters (such as data rate, central processing node capabilities, gathering node capabilities, and water dep.h). These architectures ignore real-time constraints, but they achieve the best performance in terms of the end-to-end delay and the power consumption. In this paper, we extended our research results and designed new underwater embedded system architectures that satisfy real-time constraints.

This paper presents a variable speed Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) using a back-to-back converter. The current drawn from the generator is sinusoidal with unity power factor where the introduced buck-boost converter is operating in the discontinuous conduction mode. A three-phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG) is connected to three parallel single phase ac-dc cascaded buck-boost converters, to minimize the voltage stress over the converter's switches. For optimal operation, Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) is used to regulate the speed and currents of the PMSG by controlling the duty-ratio of the proposed ac-dc buck-boost converters. Moreover, a Low Voltage Ride-Through (LVRT) strategy is integrated with the proposed scheme. PSCAD/EMTDC simulation results are provided to assess the steady state and dynamic performance of the proposed WECS under different operating conditions.
