Image processing techniques can be used to detect potential defects in images of infrastructure elements that have been collected or scanned. Aside from image processing, machine learning technologies are increasingly being applied to increase crack detection performance and resilience. A novel Surface Crack Detection Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) named the SCD11 CNN model is proposed. The main aim of this research paper is to improve efficiency and minimize the loss rate. The proposed CNN model is compared with the CNNs, including Inception V3, VGG16, and ResNet50, using a Surface Cracks Dataset. The accuracy and loss of the proposed model are compared. The results show that the proposed SCD11 CNN model performs better in test accuracy than Inception V3 and VGG16 and has a slightly lower accuracy than ResNet50.

Mobile access innovation is experiencing a progressive change. Every mobile generation witnessed fast and huge execution upgrades. These are proportional with the requests of the massive data increasing over the last years. There is significant strain to characterize the vital necessities of 5G, create 5G principles and perform innovation preliminaries as fast as could really be expected. 5G needs a progressive jump forward regarding information rates, inactivity, huge availability, network unwavering quality and energy efficiency. These capacities are focused at acknowledging rapid network, IoT, increased augmented experience, the material web, etc. The prerequisites for 5G are need to be done by new range in the microwave groups and using enormous data transfer capacities accessible in mm-wave groups, expanding spatial levels of opportunity by means of huge radio wire clusters and 3D MIMO and new waveforms that give versatility and adaptability in order to fulfill fluctuating needs of 5G administrations. In this paper, we introduce a review for 5G exploration, normalization preliminaries, and organization challenges. Because of gigantic extent of 5G frameworks, it is important to give some bearing in an instructional exercise article, and in this outline, the center is generally client driven, as opposed to gadget driven. Notwithstanding studying the condition of play in the region, we distinguish driving innovations, assessing their qualities and shortcomings, and framework the critical difficulties ahead, with research proving grounds conveying promising execution. © 2021 IEEE.

This paper presents a universal off-board charger for electrical vehicles (EVs), that can charge different categories of EVs, from light low-voltage EVs to heavy high-voltage EVs. The proposed off-board battery charger is based on an interleaved AC-DC converter such that each supply phase is connected to an interleaved buck-boost converter through an isolating transformer followed by a bridge rectifier. To ensure of stable operation of the proposed charger, the control strategy contains three flowed control loops. The outer loop is to regulate the charger output voltage. While the middle-cascaded loop is for battery charging current control, the last control loop is used to ensure that the grid current is sinusoidal at the unity power factor. The performance of the off-board battery charger and its capability to operate as a level ‘3’ charger with a wide voltage range is tested using PSCAD/EMTDC simulation software.

This paper introduces and examines a multi-port non-isolated DC-DC converter designed for the integration of photovoltaic (PV) systems with a DC grid and the generation of green hydrogen via a Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) electrolyzer. This system is particularly effective when the available PV power surpasses the power demands of the DC bus. In such scenarios, the excess power is converted into green hydrogen using PEM technology. The proposed multi-port nonisolated DC-DC converter features a two-phase interleaved boost converter to transfer power from the PV system to the DC bus, integrated with a two-phase interleaved buck converter that supplies the necessary power to the PEM during the discharge phase of the interleaved boost converter. Two control loops are established to regulate the proposed converter. The first control loop manages the interleaved boost converter to achieve Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) from the PV system. The second control loop governs the interleaved buck converter to channel the surplus PV power into green hydrogen production through PEM technology. The performance of proposed multiport system is tested using PSCAD/EMTDC simulation software.

The current 802.11ac WiFi standard is built upon and improved by WiFi 6, commonly referred to as “AX WiFi” or “802.11ax WiFiIn response to the increasing number of gadgets in the globe, WiFi 6 was first developed. If you have numerous smart home devices, VR equipment, or a lot of other gadgets, WiFi 6 employs a 160 MHz Channel to offer a channel that larger and providing by 1024-QAM to more data with one packed, increasing efficiency. In this paper 802.11 ax design and implemented in MATLAB Simulink where CCDF measurement (Complementary Cumulative Distribution Function measure the probability that a signal's instantaneous power may exceed its target level or average power) with multi-impairment performance illustrated using 1024-QAM to offer a packed signal with increasing data and a channel with160 MHz, 1024 QAM examined with AWGN and Rayliegh fading channel in term of bit error rate.

The common damage in engineering structures, especially in functionally graded materials, such as failure resulting from fiber breaking or cracking in the matrix or deboning between fibers and matrix, as well as the delamination between the composite material plies and between its layers, may be due to thermal effects, vibration, load concentration as a result of stress and strain for provides information’s about structural health monitoring. Virtual energy method such as Hamilton's was used to investigate the effect of the design parameters such as side to thickness and modular as well as material graduation index ratio on the stress-strain relationships, displacement, resultants of stresses, and resultants of mid plane strain. The analysis and simulation of the FGM shells is done in this paper utilizing MATLAB19 code and ABAQUS20 programs. The distribution of characteristics across shell thickness had also been determined using a power law. Normal stress was varied gradually from 5.74 MPa to 9.55 MPa with material index (n) from 0 to 10 respectively, while shear stress varied from 4.2 to 8.23 MPa for the same value of (n). The strain percent increased slightly from 0.00059 to 0.0012 with displacement 0.22 and 1.2 respectively for the same value of (n). © 2022 by the Authors.

Cyber threats have grown increasingly sophisticated, surpassing the capabilities of traditional security measures. Blockchain technology, with its decentralized and immutable structure, offers a potential solution to these challenges. This study examines the role of blockchain tools such as smart contracts, decentralized identity management, and secure data sharing in enhancing cybersecurity. A review of key literature and analysis of survey data from cybersecurity professionals demonstrate blockchain's effectiveness in improving data integrity, access control, and secure communications. The results show significant correlations between the adoption of blockchain technologies and the mitigation of threats like data breaches and unauthorized access. While blockchain presents promising advancements, scalability, regulatory barriers, and energy consumption remain challenges. The study provides valuable insights for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers on how blockchain can be integrated into modern cybersecurity strategies to create more secure digital environments.

The internet became a common communication platform for many people. However, information transmission is not secure, and there is a high probability of copying and altering the information easily. In the public network, transmitting sensitive or private information needs some kind of protection. Unless a secure channel is utilized for the transmission. Hiding the information is one of the efficient techniques that provides a solution for transmitting confidential data over communication channels. These techniques should meet various application requirements such as high robustness against attacks, real-time, and high hiding capacity. Generally, information-hiding techniques suffer from many challenges. This paper provides an insight into these techniques, their applications, and challenges to fill the gap of missing such an overview.

The increasing demand for cloud computing and cloud storage services in recent years have caused the unprecedented growth of data centers in the world. As the main consumers of energy, these growing data centers spend a lot of money on their power consumption every year. One of the most important consequences of the power production process is the increase in environmental pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. The power sector which is dep.ndent on fossil fuels, is one of the main sources of carbon dioxide emissions in the world and plays a significant role in increasing greenhouse gas emissions which contribute to global warming and accelerated climate change. Therefore, the problem of enhancing and transforming the process of generation and consumption of energy in data centers and utilizing energy-efficient technologies has become more important. To overcome this problem, it is essential to integrate renewable energy as a clean source of energy, inexhaustible and always available, into data centers. In this article, we provide a taxonomy of the literature on methods of production, utilization, forecasting, and management of renewable energy integration into data centers. We discuss research challenges and open issues for future work to facilitate current and future researchers to work on the research problems in the field of renewable energy utilization in cloud data centers.

The rapid adoption of smartphones and the explosive growth of data traffic due to these devices have been phenomenal. As the world anticipates more connected devices - the Internet of Things (IoT), vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications, and wearable devices - and more value-added applications and services (ultra-high-definition video, 360° video, virtual reality, smart cars, etc.), leading industry experts are calling for the sixth generation (6G) networks. Federated learning is a common distributed machine learning framework. Through the training of the global model, the problems of large communication overhead and data privacy protection in traditional centralized machine learning are solved. Federated learning (FL) is essential in optimizing wireless communication networks' resources. On the other hand, wireless communications are crucial for FL. Therefore, the purpose of this survey paper is to bridge this gap in the literature by discussing the interdep.ndency between FL and backhaul wireless communications. © 2023 ACM.
