Realistic lip-synchronized animations can be produced by the appropriately timed voice and lip motions of the cartoon character. This process is called as 'lip synchronization'. Building a talking face for languages such as English, Korean, and Portuguese has been subject of numerous studies. Compared to other languages, Sinhala is a low-resource language due to less contribution in these researches. This research study focuses to build a frontal view of a synthetic mouth part with smooth lip movements rather than opening and closing while speaking Sinhala sentences. The most difficult challenge is to match the basic sounds, 'phonemes' with the lip movement called 'visemes'. This study has been used static viseme approach by deriving twenty three (23) Sinhala viseme classes and a deep learning model has been developed to map visemes with Sinhala letters. In system implementation, text input is provided first, after which the system produces audio and the deep learning model generates a collection of visemes based on the given text. The system interface then offers three options for playing the visemes at various speeds, including fast, normal, and slow. The user interface was created in Python, and the deep learning model is integrated into the system. This model will be very helpful to use in cartoon industry to build Sinhala speaking cartoon characters and also be used to train deaf people to read lips. © 2024 IEEE.

Currently, effective Intrusion-detection systems (IDS) still represent one of the important security tools. However, hybrid models based on the IDS achieve better results compared with intrusion detection based on a single algorithm. But even so, the hybrid models based on traditional algorithms still face different limitations. This work is focused on providing two main goals;firstly, analysis based on the main methods and limitations of the most-recent hybrid model-based on intrusion detection, secondly, to propose a novel hybrid IDS model called TLBO-ELM based on the Firefly algorithm and Fast Learning Network. © 2021

Gliomas are aggressive brain tumors known for their heterogeneity,unclear borders,and diverse locations on Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI)*** factors present significant challenges for MRI-based segmentation,a crucial step for effective treatment planning and monitoring of glioma *** study proposes a novel deep learning framework,ResNet Multi-Head Attention U-Net(ResMHA-Net),to address these challenges and enhance glioma segmentation ***-Net leverages the strengths of both residual blocks from the ResNet architecture and multi-head attention *** powerful combination empowers the network to prioritize informative regions within the 3D MRI data and capture long-range *** doing so,ResMHANet effectively segments intricate glioma sub-regions and reduces the impact of uncertain tumor *** rigorously trained and validated ResMHA-Net on the BraTS 2018,2019,2020 and 2021 ***,ResMHA-Net achieved superior segmentation accuracy on the BraTS 2021 dataset compared to the previous years,demonstrating its remarkable adaptability and robustness across diverse ***,we collected the predicted masks obtained from three datasets to enhance survival prediction,effectively augmenting the dataset *** features were then extracted from these predicted masks and,along with clinical data,were used to train a novel ensemble learning-based machine learning model for survival *** model employs a voting mechanism aggregating predictions from multiple models,leading to significant improvements over existing *** ensemble approach capitalizes on the strengths of various models,resulting in more accurate and reliable predictions for patient ***,we achieved an impressive accuracy of 73%for overall survival(OS)prediction.

Smart grids have developed as a potentially game-changing strategy for controlling the demand and supply of energy. Unfortunately, peak demand is a significant source of grid instability and rising energy prices, making it one of the most critical difficulties in smart grids. During times of high energy demand on the grid, demand response (DR) strategies incentivize consumers to change how they use energy. This study’s overarching goal is to learn how DR methods may be used to help smart grids make better use of their energy resources. The primary research is to develop a smart DR system that can predict times of high energy demand and proactively alter usage to reduce such periods. Machine learning strategies are utilized in the proposed system to estimate peak demand via past data, weather predictions, and other variables. The system will then alter energy use based on real-time data from smart meters along with other sensing devices to meet the projected demand. The simulation model will include several scenarios for testing the DR system’s flexibility, including a range of weather conditions, load profiles, and grid topologies. Deep learning mechanisms allow computers to solve complex real-time problems with complex neural networks, it employs a vital role in health sector, for assisting the medical practitioners with quick and accurate decision making. Various studies on this research area proves that deep learning approaches are more effective in detecting facial paralysis, a common visible symptom of acute stroke. The sealing sign of stroke is facial weakness which destroys the newline muscle movements in the face on one or both sides of the nerves in the brain stream. Accurate and timely detection is most important and need of the golden hour, to patients effectively. Human assessment and traditional diagnostic methods have demonstrated poor inter rated reliability, demanding improved diagnostic tools. By analysing facial asymmetry and other relevant features like Face feature analysis, extracting characteristics such as eye shape, movement, and wrinkles from static images to detect facial weakness is done using various deep learning techniques. This work encompass the real-time challenges such as curating datasets, ethical concerns and data privacy of patients. The objective of this paper is to review the potentiality of various traditional to deep learning algorithms in automising the facial paralysis detection for accurate stroke diagnosis in patients. AI models can provide objective assessments that enhance the reliability of stroke detection. © 2025 IEEE.

The integration of software in the automotive industry has become increasingly complex and time-sensitive, necessitating the implementation of efficient tools. One such tool is the utilization of a generator. Over the past decade, the implementation of In-Vehicle-Infotainment systems has become ubiquitous, occupying a central position within vehicles. Another system present in vehicles is the Advanced Driver Assistance System. Despite their prevalence, these systems operate in isolation. However, the utilization of Android services and a service-client architecture can facilitate communication between disparate systems through the implementation of various service-client-based protocols. This study proposes the development of a generator for Android services that enable communication between Advanced Driver Assistance System systems through the use of CommonAPI proxy. The implementation of this generator will expedite the production process of code that integrates these independent systems. © 2023 IEEE.

The rapid growth of mobile applications has led to serious security challenges, resulting in vulnerabilities. Automation in security testing methods is becoming popular, with the Automated Vulnerability Detection methodology being one such method. This work introduces a hybrid approach for detecting vulnerabilities in Android applications, combining static and dynamic analysis. The approach is accessible to both general users and expert developers, allowing for the identification of ingrained vulnerabilities in the source code. The hybrid model's effectiveness is assessed in various applications with different security flaws, providing a solid solution for automated vulnerability detection in Android applications, enhancing security and resilience in the mobile ecosystem. © 2024 IEEE.
