The application of Intelligent Internet of Things(IIoT)in constructing distribution station areas strongly supports platform transformation,upgrade,and intelligent *** sensing layer of IIoT comprises the edge convergence layer and the end sensing layer,with the former using intelligent fusion terminals for real-time data collection and ***,the influx of multiple low-voltage in the smart grid raises higher demands for the performance,energy efficiency,and response speed of the substation fusion ***,it brings significant security risks to the entire distribution substation,posing a major challenge to the smart *** response to these challenges,a proposed dynamic and energy-efficient trust measurement scheme for smart grids aims to address these *** scheme begins by establishing a hierarchical trust measurement model,elucidating the trust relationships among smart IoT *** then incorporates multidimensional measurement factors,encompassing static environmental factors,dynamic behaviors,and energy *** comprehensive approach reduces the impact of subjective factors on trust ***,the scheme incorporates a detection process designed for identifying malicious low-voltage end sensing units,ensuring the prompt identification and elimination of any malicious ***,in turn,enhances the security and reliability of the smart grid *** effectiveness of the proposed scheme in pinpointing malicious nodes has been demonstrated through simulation ***,the scheme outperforms established trust metric models in terms of energy efficiency,showcasing its significant contribution to the field.

Solar-driven carbon dioxide(CO_(2))conversion including photocatalytic(PC),photoelectrochemical(PEC),photovoltaic plus electrochemical(PV/EC)systems,offers a renewable and scalable way to produce fuels and high-value chemicals for environment and energy *** review summarizes the basic fundament and the recent advances in the field of solar-driven CO_(2)*** the visible-light absorption is an important strategy to improve solar energy conversion *** separation and migration of photogenerated charges carriers to surface sites and the surface catalytic processes also determine the photocatalytic *** engineering including co-catalyst loading,defect engineering,morphology control,surface modification,surface phase junction,and Z-scheme photocatalytic system construction,have become fundamental strategies to obtain high-efficiency *** to photocatalysis,these strategies have been applied to improve the conversion efficiency and Faradaic efficiency of typical PEC *** PV/EC systems,the electrode surface structure and morphology,electrolyte effects,and mass transport conditions affect the activity and selectivity of electrochemical CO_(2)***,the challenges and prospects are addressed for the development of solar-driven CO_(2)conversion system with high energy conversion efficiency,high product selectivity and stability.

Several instances of pneumonia with no clear etiology were recorded in Wuhan,China,on December 31,*** world health organization(WHO)called it COVID-19 that stands for“Coronavirus Disease 2019,”which is the second version of the previously known severe acute respiratory syndrome(SARS)Coronavirus and identified in short as(SARSCoV-2).There have been regular restrictions to avoid the infection spread in all countries,including Saudi *** prediction of new cases of infections is crucial for authorities to get ready for early handling of the virus ***:Analysis and forecasting of epidemic patterns in new SARSCoV-2 positive patients are presented in this research using metaheuristic optimization and long short-term memory(LSTM).The optimization method employed for optimizing the parameters of LSTM is Al-Biruni Earth Radius(BER)***:To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology,a dataset is collected based on the recorded cases in Saudi Arabia between March 7^(th),2020 and July 13^(th),*** addition,six regression models were included in the conducted experiments to show the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed *** achieved results show that the proposed approach could reduce the mean square error(MSE),mean absolute error(MAE),and R^(2)by 5.92%,3.66%,and 39.44%,respectively,when compared with the six base *** the other hand,a statistical analysis is performed to measure the significance of the proposed ***:The achieved results confirm the effectiveness,superiority,and significance of the proposed approach in predicting the infection cases of COVID-19.

A cutting-edge online marketplace that uses blockchain technology to transform how we purchase and sell goods and services is known as a blockchain- powered e-commerce platform. This platform uses a decentralized network of computers, also known as nodes, to maintain a transparent and impenetrable record of all transactions instead of depending on a central authority like a bank or a company. A blockchain-based e-commerce platform is a secure, transparent, and trusted online marketplace. It does away with the need for intermediaries, improves security, and provides a world market where users can confidently conduct peer-to-peer transactions. Recently,energy harvesting wireless sensor networks(EHWSN)have increased significant attention among research *** harvesting energy from the neighboring environment,the sensors in EHWSN resolve the energy constraint problem and offers lengthened network *** is one of the proficient ways for accomplishing even improved lifetime in *** clustering process intends to appropriately elect the cluster heads(CHs)and construct *** several models are available in the literature,it is still needed to accomplish energy efficiency and security in *** this view,this study develops a novel Chaotic Rider Optimization Based Clustering Protocol for Secure Energy Harvesting Wireless Sensor Networks(CROC-SEHWSN)*** presented CROC-SEHWSN model aims to accomplish energy efficiency by clustering the node in *** CROC-SEHWSN model is based on the integration of chaotic concepts with traditional rider optimization(RO)***,the CROC-SEHWSN model derives a fitness function(FF)involving seven distinct parameters connected to *** accomplish security,trust factor and link quality metrics are considered in the *** design of RO algorithm for secure clustering process shows the novelty of the *** order to demonstrate the enhanced performance of the CROC-SEHWSN approach,a wide range of simulations are carried out and the outcomes are inspected in distinct *** experimental outcome demonstrated the superior performance of the CROC-SEHWSN technique on the recent approaches with maximum network lifetime of 387.40 and 393.30 s under two scenarios.

One of the most challenging issues in computer imaging is the automated segmentation of brain tumors using Magnetic Resonance Images (MRI). Several approaches are explored using Deep Neural Networks in image segmentation since they perform well in automated tumor segmentation using tumor scans. Due to the complexity, training deeper neural networks usually takes a long time and many processing resources. An automated approach for classifying and segmenting images of Brain tumor MRI is proposed. As a hybrid transfer learning approach, modified ResNet50 identifies the class of MRI images as Benign or malignant. After identifying the Benign images, the tumor’s location is segmented using a hybrid network involving ResUNet with the Xception network as Backbone. This combination approach is chosen after its comparative analysis with other backbones. Various combination approaches are carried out, and performance metrics like Jaccard, Dice, and Tversky coefficient are done to prove the ResUNet backboned with Xception plays a better role concerning accuracy and speed. The proposed approach was tested on the dataset Cancer Imaging Archive to validate its efficiency. The proposed model has an average dice similarity coefficient score of 0.94, outperforming the conventional transfer learning training method with all the layers. © 2025 IEEE.

The Internet of Things(IoT)is a modern approach that enables connection with a wide variety of devices *** to the resource constraints and open nature of IoT nodes,the routing protocol for low power and lossy(RPL)networks may be vulnerable to several routing ***’s why a network intrusion detection system(NIDS)is needed to guard against routing assaults on RPL-based IoT *** imbalance between the false and valid attacks in the training set degrades the performance of machine learning employed to detect network ***,we propose in this paper a novel approach to balance the dataset classes based on metaheuristic optimization applied to locality-sensitive hashing and synthetic minority oversampling technique(LSH-SMOTE).The proposed optimization approach is based on a new hybrid between the grey wolf and dipper throated optimization *** prove the effectiveness of the proposed approach,a set of experiments were conducted to evaluate the performance of NIDS for three cases,namely,detection without dataset balancing,detection with SMOTE balancing,and detection with the proposed optimized LSHSOMTE *** results showed that the proposed approach outperforms the other approaches and could boost the detection *** addition,a statistical analysis is performed to study the significance and stability of the proposed *** conducted experiments include seven different types of attack cases in the RPL-NIDS17 *** on the 2696 CMC,2023,vol.74,no.2 proposed approach,the achieved accuracy is(98.1%),sensitivity is(97.8%),and specificity is(98.8%).
