This research endeavors to design a predictive model to forecast stock prices using a Gradient Boosting Machine (GBM) regressor, specifically emphasizing the adjusted closing price to mitigate the autocorrelation issues intrinsic to time series data. The investigation encompasses a 12-month duration of historical stock data, integrating two technical indicators, namely Exponential Moving Averages (EMA-5 and EMA-10), to augment predictive precision. Gradient Boosting, recognized for its proficiency in managing intricate and non-linear data patterns, was employed to forecast forthcoming stock prices. Critical performance indicators, including Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), and the Coefficient of Determination (R2), played a role in evaluating model accuracy, attaining an R2 score of 0.99, thereby signifying an almost perfect correlation between actual and predicted prices. Beyond numerical assessments, visual examinations through scatter plots, residual plots, and prediction error distribution further elucidated the model's efficiency. The findings reveal that the amalgamation of Gradient Boosting with Technical Indicators such as EMA-5 and EMA-10, coupled with an emphasis on the adjusted closing price, proves exceptionally effective for stock price forecasting. This methodology achieved an accuracy rate nearing 99%, illustrating its substantial promise for stock market prediction and its proficiency in alleviating autocorrelation challenges within time series datasets. © 2025 IEEE.

To recognize the potential for colon polyps to develop into cancer over time, early diagnosis is crucial for preventative healthcare. Timely identification significantly improves the prognosis and treatment outcomes for colorectal cancer patients. Image segmentation is crucial in medical image analysis for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Therefore, in this study, we present an alternative multilevel thresholding polyp segmentation method (MPOA) to enhance the segmentation of polyp images. The proposed method is based on enhancing the planet optimization algorithm (POA) by integrating operators from the reptile search algorithm (RSA). The evaluation of the developed MPOA is tested with different polyp images and compared with other image segmentation approaches. The results highlight the superior capability of MPOA, as evidenced by various performance measures in effectively segmenting polyp images. Furthermore, metrics such as peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR), structural similarity index (SSIM), and fitness values demonstrate that MPOA outperforms the basic version of POA and other methods. The evaluation outcomes underscore the significant impact of RSA in enhancing the performance of POA for the segmentation of polyp images. © The Author(s) 2025.

This paper presents a tool relying on data service architecture, where technical details of all VBS datasets are completely hidden behind an abstract stateless data layer. The data services allow independent development of interactive search interfaces and refinement techniques, which is demonstrated by a smart front-end component. The component supports common search features and allows users to exploit content-based statistics for effective filtering. The increasing prevalence of manipulated media, particularly deepfake videos, poses significant challenges in distinguishing real from fake content. This paper addresses the issue of detecting deepfake videos using advanced CNN architectures such as EfficientNet-B4 and XceptionNet. The FF++ and Celeb-DF (v2) datasets are used to compare real and fake videos. The methodology involves preprocessing the Celeb- DF dataset by extracting frames and isolating faces, training the models, and evaluating their performance using log loss and Area Under the Curve (AUC) metrics. The study shows that both models are effective in accurately classifying real and fake videos and highlights the importance of continuously updating deepfake detection algorithms in response to evolving deepfake generation techniques. © 2023 IEEE.

Most children and elderly people worldwide die from pneumonia,which is a contagious illness that causes lung *** diagnosing pneumonia from chest X-ray images,many deep learning models have been put *** goal of this research is to develop an effective and strong approach for detecting and categorizing pneumonia *** varying the deep learning approach,three pre-trained models,GoogLeNet,ResNet18,and DenseNet121,are employed in this research to extract the main features of pneumonia and normal *** addition,the binary dipper throated optimization(DTO)algorithm is utilized to select the most significant features,which are then fed to the K-nearest neighbor(KNN)classifier for getting the final classification *** guarantee the best performance of KNN,its main parameter(K)is optimized using the continuous DTO *** test the proposed approach,six evaluation metrics were employed namely,positive and negative predictive values,accuracy,specificity,sensitivity,and ***,the proposed approach is compared with other traditional approaches,and the findings confirmed the superiority of the proposed approach in terms of all the evaluation *** minimum accuracy achieved by the proposed approach is(98.5%),and the maximum accuracy is(99.8%)when different test cases are included in the evaluation experiments.

In the modern era of a growing population,it is arduous for humans to monitor every aspect of sports,events occurring around us,and scenarios or *** recognition of different types of sports and events has increasingly incorporated the use of machine learning and artificial *** research focuses on detecting and recognizing events in sequential photos characterized by several factors,including the size,location,and position of people’s body parts in those pictures,and the influence around those *** approaches utilized,here are feature descriptors such as MSER(Maximally Stable Extremal Regions),SIFT(Scale-Invariant Feature Transform),and DOF(degree of freedom)between the joint points are applied to the skeleton ***,for the same purposes,other features such as BRISK(Binary Robust Invariant Scalable Keypoints),ORB(Oriented FAST and Rotated BRIEF),and HOG(Histogram of Oriented Gradients)are applied on full body or *** integration of these techniques increases the discriminative nature of characteristics retrieved in the identification process of the event,hence improving the efficiency and reliability of the entire *** extracted features are passed to the early fusion and DBscan for feature fusion and *** deep belief,network is employed for *** results demonstrate a separate experiment’s detection average recognition rate of 87%in the HMDB51 video database and 89%in the YouTube database,showing a better perspective than the current methods in sports and event identification.

The primary objective of this study is to construct an Internet of Things (IoT)-based stress detection system that uses Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) and pulse sensors. In today's contemporary world, stress has developed into a widespread problem and early recognition of the condition is necessary for efficient intervention and treatment. The suggested system utilizes GSR and pulse sensors in conjunction with the IoT technologies to continuously monitor and analyze an individual's stress levels. The GSR sensor analyzes changes in the electrical conductance of the skin, which is known to occur during times of stress;in contrast, the pulse sensor identifies patterns in heart rate related to stress. Signal processing methods are used to process the newly collected sensor data, after which useful characteristics are retrieved. After the data has been analyzed, it is wirelessly sent to a cloud platform so that machine learning algorithms may be used for further analysis and categorization. The system displays the current amount of stress in real-time and can send warnings if the current stress level reaches a certain threshold. To guarantee that the system conforms to the rules, the system has established privacy and data security precautions. Our goal is to contribute, via this study, to the creation of an accurate and reliable stress detection system that may aid people in efficiently controlling the amounts of stress that they are experiencing in their lives. © 2023 IEEE.

This article discusses Blockchain and Generative AI in healthcare, including their uses, difficulties, and solutions. Blockchain technology improves EHR security, privacy, and interoperability, while smart contracts streamline supply chain management and administrative procedures. Blockchain verifies and secures IoT data, improving medical care and treatment, according to case studies. Generative AI systems like ChatGPT have transformed healthcare by personalizing therapy, diagnostics, and predictive analytics. AI systems can examine massive databases to diagnose diseases early, anticipate dangers, and personalize therapies. By providing timely information, boosting treatment adherence, and giving continuous support, AI-powered virtual health assistants have enhanced patient involvement. Generative AI has additionally enhanced medical research and drug development, cutting the time and expense of introducing new medicines. Generative AI and Blockchain provide safe patient data storage, high-quality AI training datasets, and efficient healthcare operations. Scalability, energy usage, and interoperability issues remain. Scalable Blockchain designs and standardized data integration and exchange protocols are suggested by this study.
