Breast cancer is one of the leading cancers among *** has the second-highest mortality rate in women after lung *** detection,especially in the early stages,can help increase survival ***,manual diagnosis of breast cancer is a tedious and time-consuming process,and the accuracy of detection is reliant on the quality of the images and the radiologist’s ***,computer-aided medical diagnosis has recently shown promising results,leading to the need to develop an efficient system that can aid radiologists in diagnosing breast cancer in its early *** research presented in this paper is focused on the multi-class classification of breast *** deep transfer learning approach has been utilized to train the deep learning models,and a pre-processing technique has been used to improve the quality of the ultrasound *** proposed technique utilizes two deep learning models,Mobile-NetV2 and DenseNet201,for the composition of the deep ensemble *** learning models are fine-tuned along with hyperparameter tuning to achieve better ***,entropy-based feature selection is *** cancer identification using the proposed classification approach was found to attain an accuracy of 97.04%,while the sensitivity and F1 score were 96.87%and 96.76%,*** performance of the proposed model is very effective and outperforms other state-of-the-art techniques presented in the literature.

In recent years,there are numerous studies on chaotic systems with special equilibrium curves having various shapes such as circle,butterfly,heart and *** paper describes a new 3-D chaotic dynamical system with a capsule-shaped equilibrium *** proposed chaotic system has two quadratic,two cubic and two quartic nonlinear *** is noted that the proposed chaotic system has a hidden attractor since it has an infinite number of equilibrium *** is also established that the proposed chaotic system exhibits multi-stability with two coexisting chaotic attractors for the same parameter values but differential initial states.A detailed bifurcation analysis with respect to variations in the system parameters is portrayed for the new chaotic system with capsule equilibrium *** have shown MATLAB plots to illustrate the capsule equilibrium curve,phase orbits of the new chaotic system,bifurcation diagrams and *** an engineering application,we have proposed a speech cryptosystem with a numerical algorithm,which is based on our novel 3-D chaotic system with a capsule-shaped equilibrium *** proposed speech cryptosystem follows its security evolution and implementation on Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA)*** results show that the proposed encryption system utilizes 33%of the FPGA,while the maximum clock frequency is 178.28 MHz.

High-fidelity EEG feature-engineered taxonomy for bruxism and PLMS prognostication through pioneering and avant-garde ML frameworks

Periodic Leg Movement during Sleep (PLMS) and Bruxism are linked with changes in EEG signal characteristics. This work applies machine learning and data mining approaches to examine these changes. Patients with PLMS and bruxism had nighttime EEG recordings to examine changes in brain activity. The findings revealed constant variations in brain hemodynamics even in the absence of clearly observable arousals in the EEG. Wavelet decomposition was used to improve classification precision. Using the N3 sleep stage, accuracy varied from 92 % to 96 %, with an AUC of 0.85–0.89, in diagnosing binary sleep disorders. Still, adding wavelet-based elements greatly enhanced performance, obtaining an AUC of 0.99 with classification accuracy ranging from 94 % to 98 %. This emphasizes how strongly discriminative power wavelet-extracted EEG characteristics possess. Using K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), and Support Vector Machines (SVM) with Radial Basis Function (RBF), Bruxism categorization was accomplished. These models attained respectively 82 %, 90 %, and 93 % percent classification accuracy. This work is the first to show a direct connection among differences in brain activity based on PLMS, Bruxism, and EEG-based technologies. The results show how well machine learning methods and EEG feature extraction might diagnose sleep problems. Although the therapeutic relevance of these findings is yet unknown, the results imply that enhanced EEG-based classification techniques could produce more reliable and automated diagnostic instruments for Bruxism and PLMS. © 2025 The Authors

Recent years have seen significant advancements in Large Language Models (LLMs), particularly in their application to natural language processing tasks. One prominent application is the abstractive summarization of news articles, a process that distills extensive textual information into a succinct yet comprehensive representation. The significance of this task lies in its capacity to efficiently distill key information. This paper focuses on evaluating the performance of various LLMs—Llama-2-7b, T5, Bart, and Pegasus—specifically fine-tuned on the CNN Daily dataset of news articles. QLoRA and Prompt-Based Fine-Tuning Approaches are employed systematically to compare the efficacy of these models in generating summaries that capture the essence of news articles. Evaluation metrics, including ROUGE, BLEU, and cosine similarity, are utilized to assess summarization quality. The findings reveal distinctive results among the selected LLMs such that Llama-2 excels in ROUGE-1 and ROUGE-L with scoreS of 0.45 and 0.427, Pegasus demonstrates remarkable performance in ROUGE-2 and cosine similarity with scores 0.19 and 0.6 respectively.

Providing quality healthcare services and promoting collaborative clinical research are easier and more efficient with electronic medical record (EMR) systems. All aspects of care are included in electronic health records. Data characterized by volume, variety, and velocity is what IBM defines as big data. Therefore, we evidently have a significant problem managing 'big EMR data' from a volume, accuracy, and velocity perspective. Data misuse and patient safety are significant risks associated with poorly implemented EMR-based systems. Storage, access, and retrieval of big data are all aspects of security to consider. Location is another important aspect of secure data use, in addition to strong access control mechanisms. Researchers are investigating secure mobile data usage based on location after recent reports of illegal trade and theft of patient data over mobile devices. To improve work flow dynamics and efficiency, healthcare facilities are increasingly using mobile devices. In spite of this, mobile devices are becoming more and more common. A new technique for preventing EMR infiltration and manipulation by hackers using the cloud is presented in this article. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper summarizes the technical activities of a three-year-long IEEE Task Force (TF) on State Estimation (SE) for Integrated Energy Systems (IES). It presents the formal definition and characteristics of IES, along with the comprehensive discussion on Electric Power Systems (EPS) model, and static and dynamic models associated with heating and natural gas systems. The paper also identifies the barriers of SE for IES, such as estimation modeling, observability analysis, and measurement requirements, together with addressing multi-scale dynamics. An extensive comparative analysis between Integrated Energy Systems-State Estimation (IES-SE) and more established Electric Power System-State Estimation (EPS-SE) is presented. The paper also provides future research needs and directions related to IES-SE. © 1969-2012 IEEE.

Monitoring and controlling magnetic field intensity is essential in industrial settings for the reliable and secure functioning of equipment, systems, and other components. The Internet of Things (IoT) is advancing technology solutions for industrial monitoring in magnetic fields. A Raspberry Pi works as the main processing unit of the system and is equipped with a Wi-Fi module for wireless communications. Connecting a Hall Effect sensor to the Raspberry Pi through the proper interfaces may take magnetic field measurements in real-time. The Hall Effect sensor sends its readings to the Raspberry Pi, which then processes and analyzes them. A connected display then shows the processed data, giving the users or operators rapid visual feedback. Wi-Fi allows uninterrupted data transfer to be sent to the cloud or other remote monitoring systems. Magnetic field strength measurements may be taken with great precision using the Hall Effect sensor. Regarding processing and analyzing data, the Raspberry Pi proves to be a flexible and adaptable platform. The data on the magnetic field may be seen in real-time and monitored on the screen. Wi-Fi allows users to connect from afar, share information, and use cloud-based features and storage. By facilitating continuous data gathering, remote access, and enhanced analytics, an IoT-based method improves monitoring capabilities. The technology can identify irregular magnetic field patterns, sending real-time alarms or messages to facilitate preventative maintenance and safety checks. The suggested approach provides a scalable and reasonably priced means of tracking magnetic fields in manufacturing settings. It improves manufacturing safety, efficiency, and productivity by providing users with real-time information and enabling data-driven decision-making. © 2023 IEEE.

The recently developed 4D-Imaging mmWave MIMO radars have significant advantages over conventional radar sensors because they offer a large virtual array in both azimuth and elevation. However, the physical placement of transmit and receive antennas to achieve the desired virtual array, while considering cost and efficiency is not intuitive. In this paper, we propose an optimization framework for optimally placing the transmit and receive array physical elements. The proposed framework obtains a sequence of optimal placements based on the coordinate descent by defining a desired virtual array and number of transmit and receive antenna elements as the objective. The objective function is then monotonically minimized in each iteration of the proposed algorithm, converging to a solution that guarantees the desired number of transmit and receive antenna elements, while the obtained virtual array is as close to the desired virtual array as possible. The simulation results are validated by simulating the virtual array of multiple commercially available 4D-Imaging radar products. © 2023 European Signal Processing Conference, EUSIPCO. Many application from the bee colony health state monitoring could be efficiently solved using a computer vision techniques. One of such challenges is an efficient way for counting the number of incoming and outcoming bees, which could be used to further analyse many trends, such as the bee colony health state, blooming periods, or for investigating the effects of agricultural spraying. In this paper, we compare three methods for the automated bee counting over two own datasets. The best performing method is based on the ResNet-50 convolutional neural network classifier, which achieved accuracy of 87% over the BUT1 dataset and the accuracy of 93% over the BUT2 dataset.
