Artificial intelligence (AI) has expanded its influence across various sectors including education, healthcare, and agriculture. In the agricultural setting, the multiagent system (MAS) is recognized as a powerful tool for optimizing resource allocation, enhancing decision-making processes, and improving overall farm productivity. Accurate prediction of rice yield levels is paramount importance in the agricultural sector. It allows farmers, policymakers, and stakeholders to make informed decisions regarding crop management. Individual machine-learning algorithms (MLA) have been used to predict rice yield levels, but they may not fully exploit the available information. Therefore, the novel system implemented based on stacking techniques to solve complex problems. The objective of this paper is to present an efficient system that leverages MAS based on a novel proposed stacking technique (Extra Trees Classifier (ETC), Random Forest Classifier (RFC), Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) and Gaussian Naive Bayes (GNB)) for improving the rice yield level prediction within the agricultural environment. Each algorithm brings its unique approach to handling complex relationships, and modeling class separability. The findings from this study provided valuable insights for decision-making in interconnected sectors and facilitating optimal business planning. The dataset incorporated climate variables such as monthly maximum and minimum temperatures and rainfall. The final result of the dataset consists of 1266 rows and 18 features. The results showed that the novel proposed stacking technique achieved the highest prediction accuracy 87% and the best individual Decision tree classifier obtained 77.5%. The novel proposed stacking technique increases the accuracy by 9.5% compared to the best individual MLA. © 2023 IEEE.

The Disease Prediction System revolutionizes healthcare with advanced machine learning techniques for early detection of skin diseases, notably focusing on skin cancer. Through image processing and Transfer Learning, it excels in identifying potential malignancies, enabling timely interventions. Its capabilities extend to benign tumors and growth disorders, utilizing the ResNet50 Model for precise identification. Additionally, it predicts skin reactions associated with various dermatological conditions, such as Urticaria Hives and Warts, leveraging the efficientnetB0 Model. Integration of the VGG16 Model enhances diagnostic accuracy for inflammatory skin conditions. This holistic approach prioritizes patient-centric care, leveraging diverse datasets and intricate pattern recognition in medical images. The system's proactive nature embodies personalized solutions for early detection, timely intervention, and improved patient outcomes. Hybrid Optimization Algorithm for Handwritten Document Enhancement

The Gannet Optimization Algorithm (GOA) and the Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA) demonstrate strong performance;however, there remains room for improvement in convergence and practical applications. This study introduces a hybrid optimization algorithm, named the adaptive inertia weight whale optimization algorithm and gannet optimization algorithm (AIWGOA), which addresses challenges in enhancing handwritten documents. The hybrid strategy integrates the strengths of both algorithms, significantly enhancing their capabilities, whereas the adaptive parameter strategy mitigates the need for manual parameter setting. By amalgamating the hybrid strategy and parameter-adaptive approach, the Gannet Optimization Algorithm was refined to yield the AIWGOA. Through a performance analysis of the CEC2013 benchmark, the AIWGOA demonstrates notable advantages across various metrics. Subsequently, an evaluation index was employed to assess the enhanced handwritten documents and images, affirming the superior practical application of the AIWGOA compared with other algorithms.

This paper proposes a RISC-V extension, named SigWavy, meant to optimize the PWM control for general purpose or application specific designs. The RISC-V extension named above is a PWM control Unit with a dedicated ISA extension set designed for configuring and driving up to 32 PWM signals. The extension is integrated into RiscPwm, an updated version of our previous work, the RisCanFd SoC, for taking advantage of CAN-FD, a massively used protocol in the areas of automation and mobility. Being configured with the dedicated ISA extension or with parameters directly extracted from CAN-FD commands, the proposed solution manages to configure/reconfigure PWM channels between 4.79x and 9.18x times faster than an ARM Cortex-M7 processor, although our SoC operates with a 6x lower frequency. © 2023 IEEE.

A New Hybrid Model for Segmentation of the Skin Lesion Based on Residual Attention U-Net

Skin segmentation participates significantly in various biomedical applications,such as skin cancer identification and skin lesion *** paper presents a novel framework for segmenting the *** framework contains two main stages:The first stage is for removing different types of noises from the dermoscopic images,such as hair,speckle,and impulse noise,and the second stage is for segmentation of the dermoscopic images using an attention residual U-shaped Network(U-Net).The framework uses variational Autoencoders(VAEs)for removing the hair noises,the Generative Adversarial Denoising Network(DGAN-Net),the Denoising U-shaped U-Net(D-U-NET),and Batch Renormalization U-Net(Br-U-NET)for remov-ing the speckle noise,and the Laplacian Vector Median Filter(MLVMF)for removing the impulse *** the second main stage,the residual attention u-net was used for *** framework achieves(35.11,31.26,27.01,and 26.16),(36.34,33.23,31.32,and 28.65),and(36.33,32.21,28.54,and 27.11)for removing hair,speckle,and impulse noise,respectively,based on Peak Signal Noise Ratio(PSNR)at the level of(0.1,0.25,0.5,and 0.75)of *** framework also achieves an accuracy of nearly 94.26 in the dice score in the process of segmentation before removing noise and 95.22 after removing different types of *** experiments have shown the efficiency of the used model in removing noise according to the structural similarity index measure(SSIM)and PSNR and in the segmentation process as well.

Evaluation of Deep Learning Models for Person Authentication Based on Touch Gesture

Touch gesture biometrics authentication system is the study of user's touching behavior on his touch device to identify *** features traditionally used in touch gesture authentication systems are extracted using hand-crafted feature extraction *** this work,we investigate the ability of Deep Learning(DL)to automatically discover useful features of touch gesture and use them to authenticate the *** different models are investigated Long-Short Term Memory(LSTM),Gated Recurrent Unit(GRU),Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)combined with LSTM(CNN-LSTM),and CNN combined with GRU(CNN-GRU).In addition,different regularization techniques are investigated such as Activity Regularizer,Batch Normalization(BN),Dropout,and *** deep networks were trained from scratch and tested using TouchAlytics and BioIdent datasets for dynamic touch *** result reported in terms of authentication accuracy,False Acceptance Rate(FAR),False Rejection Rate(FRR).The best result we have been obtained was 96.73%,96.07%and 96.08%for training,validation and testing accuracy respectively with dynamic touch authentication system on TouchAlytics dataset with CNN-GRU DL model,while the best result of FAR and FRR obtained on TouchAlytics dataset was with CNN-LSTM were FAR was 0.0009 and FRR was *** BioIdent dataset the best results have been obtained was 84.87%,78.28%and 78.35%for Training,validation and testing accuracy respectively with CNN-LSTM *** use of a learning based approach in touch authentication system has shown good results comparing with other state-of-the-art using TouchAlytics dataset.

In recent years, Digital Twin (DT) has gained significant interestfrom academia and industry due to the advanced in information technology,communication systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud computing (CC),and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). The main concept of the DT isto provide a comprehensive tangible, and operational explanation of anyelement, asset, or system. However, it is an extremely dynamic taxonomydeveloping in complexity during the life cycle that produces a massive amountof engendered data and information. Likewise, with the development of AI,digital twins can be redefined and could be a crucial approach to aid theInternet of Things (IoT)-based DT applications for transferring the data andvalue onto the Internet with better decision-making. Therefore, this paperintroduces an efficient DT-based fault diagnosis model based on machinelearning (ML) tools. In this framework, the DT model of the machine isconstructed by creating the simulation model. In the proposed framework,the Genetic algorithm (GA) is used for the optimization task to improvethe classification accuracy. Furthermore, we evaluate the proposed faultdiagnosis framework using performance metrics such as precision, accuracy,F-measure, and recall. The proposed framework is comprehensively examinedusing the triplex pump fault diagnosis. The experimental results demonstratedthat the hybrid GA-ML method gives outstanding results compared to MLmethods like LogisticRegression (LR), Na飗e Bayes (NB), and SupportVectorMachine (SVM). The suggested framework achieves the highest accuracyof 95% for the employed hybrid GA-SVM. The proposed framework willeffectively help industrial operators make an appropriate decision concerningthe fault analysis for IIoT applications in the context of Industry 4.0.
