The article discusses the trend of introduction of high-performance CNC equipment at Russian enterprises. It is planned to introduce various equipment, primarily domestic, in order to ensure uninterrupted performance with consistently high product quality. Providing enterprises with modern CNC equipment, introducing new technologies, increasing production volumes, expanding the range of manufactured products becomes a necessity. All these factors actualize the problem of staffing modern enterprises. When analyzing existing approaches to training specialists to work with CNC systems, a number of shortcomings were identified. A method of analyzing the results of the learning process is formulated, which will allow displaying data in analytical systems in accordance with pre-configured formats to improve the quality of educational courses. © 2022 IEEE.

The article is devoted to studying and solution of the problems of creating a unified information space for a digital industrial manufacture. For effective control of a manufacture, it is necessary to have a complete understanding of the state of production, workshops, technological complexes and each unit of equipment. This article presents practical aspects of developing a platform for collecting, storing, transmitting and analyzing information about the operation of technological equipment. The generalized structure of a workshop information space of a digital manufacture is presented;it based on the allocation of four network levels: real-time networks, workshop-level networks, networks of terminal clients and industrial internet of things (IIoT) networks. The sources of information are special software and hardware embedded in technological complexes (CNC systems, robot control systems, PLCs, Motion control, PAC etc. The general principle of the platform operation is described. The issues of organization of interaction of the monitoring system with other built-in systems and subsystems of manufacture are considered;their interaction is organized on the basis of industrial standards and communication protocols. The tests of the platform operation on the basis of the developed experimental stand containing technological equipment from different manufacturers are demonstrated. © 2022 IEEE.

The paper presents research dedicated to observations of relations between attribute properties and discretisation. In the investigations described, the gradually increasing sets of features were discretised by selected approaches, and several variants of data were constructed. The continuous, partially discrete, and completely translated datasets were explored by the chosen classifiers and their performance studied in the context of a number of discretised attributes, discretisation procedures, and the way of processing of features and datasets. The stylometric problem of authorship attribution was the machine learning task under study. The experimental results enable to observe closer the specificity of style-markers employed as characteristic features, and indicate conditions for efficient recognition of authorship. They can be extended to other application domains with similar characteristics. © 2024 The Authors.

In the context of data imbalance probably the most investigated problem is imbalance of classes, as learning from the data with this characteristic makes detection of existing patterns for all classes more difficult. However, other problems related to imbalance also exists and the paper addresses such cases where classes are balanced, but there is in-class imbalance. Such imbalance can be caused by uneven representation of sub-concepts. When there is a noticeable difference between the numbers of samples belonging to sub-concepts, this can turn the under-represented sub-concepts into disjuncts. Data irregularities of this type can hinder recognition, therefore actions are typically taken to restore balance. In the investigations described, the issue was studied in the stylometric domain and various classifiers were applied to the data that was balanced, then imbalanced, and finally with restored balance. The experiments show that the specifics of the domain of application can put its own mark on the data which is difficult to overcome by standard processing such as under- or oversampling. Observed dependence on a learner and dataset makes the issue even more complex and layered, and shows the need for deeper studies. © 2024 The Authors.

This research aimed to improve the method of synthesizing specifications and requirements in IT project reengineering and apply it in practice. The method effectively analyzes archaic systems and considers the old system's specifics and business needs. Parallel testing and results analysis ensure compliance of the new system and help correct requirements based on identified issues. The black-box model and parallel system testing algorithms facilitate requirements detection and adjustment. Implementing these enhancements ensures effective work organization, proper problem-solving, and high-quality results in IT project reengineering. © 2023 IEEE.

The article examines the detection of manipulation of multimedia content, in particular in the form of videos and photos. The concept of deepfake is considered, the means and technologies involved in deepfake are analyzed, current and promising methods of detecting and preventing fake multimedia content are evaluated. Approaches to the methods of creating fakes on videos with elements of manipulation of the human face are defined. Faceswap and Deepfakes Web are found to be the most powerful solutions used to generate deepfakes. An analysis of tools for detecting deepfakes on the face was carried out, which made it possible to highlight the main technologies, libraries, and datasets used to search for fakes. The DeepFake Detection Challenge (DFDC) Model, Forensically, and others have been found to have significant potential and sample size to accurately detect human-faced fakes. This paper proposes a generalized approach to the detection of deep fakes on the human face using machine learning and computer vision technologies © 2024 IEEE.

The computer system for forming compositions and modeling the secondary polymer materials properties is described in the article. The polymer compositions are formed using a customizable dataware, which includes a polymer wastes database and a knowledge base for recycling polymers into useful polymer products The knowledge base is developed using a product-frame model for representing knowledge about polymers and their compatibility. Modeling and research of the secondary polymers properties (strength, elasticity and density) is carried out based on the mathematical models. The result of the modeling system is a technological map for the composite polymer mixture synthesis and the production of a useful polymer product. The map includes data on the recipe, physicochemical and technological properties of polymers as secondary raw materials, polymer composition, hardware and technological design of the process, values of technological controlled variables of individual stages of processing. The use of a modeling system in production makes it possible to reduce the time required to solve the problem of selecting compositions, as well as reconfiguring production for a new task, improve the consumer characteristics of polymer products and reduce defects. © 2023 IEEE.

This work analyzes the possibility of reducing the energy consumption of digital-to-analog converters by minimizing the energy consumption of the elements that ensure their operation. Due to the fact that such decisions can lead to an increase in the temperature and time drift of the output voltage of the digital-to-analog converter, a method of its in-situ calibration during operation is proposed. The method also allows carrying out calibration of high-speed analog-digital converters. © 2024 IEEE.

We study the problem of policy estimation for the Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) in discrete-time linear timeinvariant uncertain dynamical systems. We propose a Moreau Envelope-based surrogate LQR cost, built from a finite set of realizations of the uncertain system, to define a meta-policy efficiently adjustable to new realizations. Moreover, we design an algorithm to find an approximate first-order stationary point of the meta-LQR cost function. Numerical results show that the proposed approach outperforms naive averaging of controllers on new realizations of the linear system. We also provide empirical evidence that our method has better sample complexity than Model-Agnostic Meta-Learning (MAML) approaches. © 2024 IEEE.
