Assuring medical images protection and robustness is a compulsory necessity *** this paper,a novel technique is proposed that fuses the wavelet-induced multi-resolution decomposition of the Discrete Wavelet Transform(DWT)with the energy compaction of the Discrete Wavelet Transform(DCT).The multi-level Encryption-based Hybrid Fusion Technique(EbhFT)aims to achieve great advances in terms of imperceptibility and security of medical images.A DWT disintegrated sub-band of a cover image is reformed simultaneously using the DCT ***,a 64-bit hex key is employed to encrypt the host image as well as participate in the second key creation process to encode the ***,a PN-sequence key is formed along with a supplementary key in the third layer of the ***,the watermarked image is generated by enclosing both keys into DWT and DCT *** fusions ability of the proposed EbHFT technique makes the best use of the distinct privileges of using both DWT and DCT *** order to validate the proposed technique,a standard dataset of medical images is *** results show higher performance of the visual quality(i.e.,57.65)for the watermarked forms of all types of medical *** addition,EbHFT robustness outperforms an existing scheme tested for the same dataset in terms of Normalized Correlation(NC).Finally,extra protection for digital images from against illegal replicating and unapproved tampering using the proposed technique.

The management of wastewater is a significant global concern that calls for innovative solutions to lessen its negative effects on the environment. Conventional techniques of treating wastewater need improvement in order to deal with newly discovered contaminants, which highlights the importance of providing precise estimates of process performance and resource requirements. The worsening water shortage situation requires a paradigm shift in which wastewater is viewed as a useful resource. It is possible to create an economy that is both sustainable and circular by treating and recycling wastewater, putting less pressure on freshwater supplies, and leaving as little of an environmental footprint as possible. This study investigates the use of Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) as software estimators in the treatment of wastewater, with a particular emphasis on predicting ammonium concentrations in effluent. In order to deal with imbalanced time-series data, the research introduces innovative data pretreatment strategies. These techniques include a Sliding Window protocol, Data Normalization, and a K-Fold training scheme. This illustrates the potential of ANNs to revolutionize wastewater treatment procedures and drive developments in this field. The suggested method demonstrates higher performance when estimating pollutant concentrations, showing the ability of ANNs to do so. © 2023 IEEE.

Ontologies are an essential component of semantic integration approaches for information systems . In a decentralized environment, each specification of the domain reflects an Ontological view. However, the semantics characterization of information systems in such decentralized environment poses a significant issue related to their integration. Information systems are viewed as independent intensional entities with their own beliefs, distinct from those held by others. Such autonomy is distorted by traditional extensional semantics. Other entities’ beliefs are introduced into a given entity, thus affecting their beliefs. Additionally, the information that one entity provides to another entity may not be consistent with the information known by the latter. We need an alternative semantics for information integration, which is not dependent on the extension, but rather on the underlying conceptualization. This paper proposes a classification of the environment where the information systems lives and a novel modelling paradigm for information integration using intensional logic to model the ontological views. 3D object detection play a pivotal role in various applications, such as autonomous driving and environmental perception. However, the challenging task of detecting targets (e.g., vehicles and pedestrians) in 3D point clouds obtained from LiDAR sensors is hindered by two primary factors. Firstly, point clouds are non-Euclidean data and lack rigid data properties. Secondly, these point clouds are sparse and deficient in semantic information. In this paper, we propose a novel deep learning framework for 3D object detection. The proposed approach involves two stages. Specifically, we first present an innovative fusion technique that combines images and point clouds using transformers. This technique enhances the integration of semantic and geometric features while accurately mapping points to pixels without relying on camera extrinsic parameters. Additionally, a multi-level graph convolutional network (GCN) architecture is further introduced for object detection. This architecture effectively handles the non-Euclidean characteristics of point clouds while achieving precise object identification within them. A comprehensive series of experiments on the KITTl and nuScenes datasets validate the effectiveness of the proposed framework. © 1967-2012 IEEE.

Most common challenges in Named-entity recognition (NER) require suitable and annotated datasets, tailored to the specific domain of the documents under analysis, for example, legal, medical, and financial documents each require distinct datasets. Reliable identification of named entities within the training set is crucial. Annotations is a vital role in building an effective mechanism. However, creating training sets demands significant human effort, contributing to the high costs associated with NER. High quality training materials are indispensable for evolving machine-learning algorithms, underscoring the importance of dependable training data. Thus, the primary challenge lies in acquiring and managing data rather than in the algorithms themselves. To overcome most common situations of finding new unseen names, this paper proposes a mechanism to detect a new undiscovered name in Thai language based on sentence contexts. The method uses BI-LSTM model to learn sentence structures and predict a new unseen name from its context. Our framework comprises two main tasks. The first one is word entity extraction. The second task is using the model to identify unrecognized named entities. Evaluation of the proposed method is described with a successful rate of accuracy in discovering newly identified entities. This contributes to the expansion of entity recognition capabilities in Thai language processing

cozy Shell is an encrypted network protocol that has become increasingly popular in network security. Using SSH, organizations can defend their wireless networks from community penetration and malicious interest. SSH affords encryption for statistics transfers, thus stopping records robbery and interception of better-level protocols, which includes statistics confidentiality, integrity, and authentication. Similarly, complex SSH configurations can offer defense in opposition to assaults such as phishing, malware dissemination, and man-in-the-middle attacks. This paper will examine the feasibility and effectiveness of SSH for use in Wi-FiWi-Fi network safety. It will discuss the benefits of SSH for defensive a Wi-FiWi-Fi network and the demanding situations related to its implementation. Additionally, the paper will become aware of the metrics used to degree the overall performance of an SSH-blanketed community and suggest a secure framework for SSH implementation. In the end, this paper will explore the potential for further research within the region of wireless network protection using SSH. © 2023 IEEE.

Changes in coal seam hardness cause fluctuations in the feed resistance at the drill bit during the drilling process, leading to unstable feeding speed. This paper proposes a robust dynamic output feedback controller to suppress disturbances caused by the variations in coal seam hardness in the feed system. Firstly, an unknown parameter measuring coal seam hardness is introduced, and an uncertain model of the feeding system is established based on the finite element model of the drill string. By designing weighted functions based on industrial field requirements and constructing a generalized plant, the controller achieves loop shaping, reducing the low-frequency impact of coal seam hardness variations on the feed system and suppressing the systems resonance peak. Simulation results demonstrate that the controller effectively suppresses parameter variations and external disturbances caused by changes in coal seam hardness, achieving stable control of the drilling speed. © 2024 IEEE.

The article introduces a two-dimensional polynomial regression model for the predictive analysis of glucose concentration in a fractal microwave sensor NP model, utilizing frequency and transmission coefficient differences to examine their correlation with glucose concentration levels. The sensor employed in this investigation is fabricated on an economical FR-4 substrate to minimize costs. The sensor structure is developed with the fractal structure reduction method established by the NP model to operate at a frequency of roughly 2.97 GHz. The CST Studio software is utilized to analyze the findings from the simulation of the suggested sensor structure. Furthermore, the proposed sensor is integrated into a test apparatus comprising a sensor platform and a liquid tube constructed from PPA material. The liquid under examination is a glucose and water mixture at varying concentrations. It was analyzed using a VNA instrument to evaluate its frequency response and the magnitude of the alteration in the transmission coefficient. The values are utilized to create a two-dimensional polynomial regression model. The experiments demonstrated that the proposed sensor model possesses an Adjusted R² value of 0.99499 and an average error of approximately 3.57% for glucose concentration analysis throughout the range of 5% to 30%, with sensitivities of 0.00879 dB/% for insertion loss and 0.092 MHz/% for frequency variation, facilitating accurate glucose concentration prediction analysis.

Starting from the period of the Covid-19 pandemic, when the presence of students in the university laboratories was very limited, the research work on remote laboratories significantly increased. The most affected aspect of students’ study experience at that time were the laboratory experiments intended to be conducted on-premises, in the university laboratories. The UbiLAB framework was envisioned as a digital space for implementing and conducting laboratory work and experiments that are rarely completely transferred into the digital world. Here we have identified two most difficult challenges: achieving a nearly realistic substitute for learning experiences in the actual physical laboratories, and a nearly realistic substitute for the social element of collaborative learning and “making friends” in the process. The innovative cloud-based UbiLAB framework addresses both challenges, digitizing various and diverse actual laboratory experiments through a simple and widely available platform, while enhancing the reality of students’ experience in the process.
