In recent years, the rapid development of network and E-commerce technologies, promotes the development of human body big data. New technologies, such as 3D scanning and 3D printing will improve our life quality. The new socialized manufacturing network composed of Io T, advanced logistics network and 3D printers. Everyone is allowed to have chance to participate in any process of the whole production manufacturing lifecycle by some ways, such as crowdsourcing. Boosts the creation, production and consumption patterns of individuation, real-time transformation and E-commerce, possibly will lead to a new industrial revolution. In this revolutionary change wave, public concerns focus on the human body big data used for social manufacturing of wearable products or personalized medical treatment. Although many scholars have done a lot of research work, the collection of the human body shape big data still faces many challenges. There is no complete, separated theoretical research works in progress, it should be summarized and improved systematically. In this paper, we review that big data for human body shape is gaining momentum. The 3D scanning and 3D modeling of human body shape are summarized and concluded. The main applications of these big data are analyzed.

In recent years, the Information Technology develops rapidly. With the development of the Information Technology, the social manufacturing, a new mode of manufacturing, has been proposed. The social manufacturing combines the Internet technology, the three-dimensional scanning technology and the virtual reality technology, and is used in the apparel industry and other fashion industries for the mass customization. The three-dimensional scanning technology and the virtual fitting mirror technology are inseparable from the depth camera. Depth cameras play an important role in the social manufacturing. Manufacturers use depth cameras to obtain three-dimensional models of the body of customers to design suitable clothes. Customers can visually see the effect of clothes by using a virtual fitting mirror which is based on the depth camera. The social manufacturing makes mass customization possible, and the depth camera help develop the social manufacturing. This paper introduces the principles of depth cameras, and the application of depth cameras in the social manufacturing.

In this paper, the problem of rudder-roll damping control for a class of cruise keeping ships subject to both actuator fault and state saturation is investigated. A manoeuvring and rudder control model of marine vessels is firstly reviewed based on the existing literature. Actuator faults which including partial loss of rudder effectiveness and actuator-bias faults are considered in the model. Then a switching control strategy is developed to compensate for the actuator faults and to guarantee the stability of the rudder-roll damping control system. Moreover, some relationship regarding state saturation bounds, actuator fault limits and control parameters are analyzed in this paper. Finally, simulation results are given to illustrate the proposed procedures and their effectiveness.

Hundreds of incubators get birthed worldwide every day, and many new ICT technologies developed continuously, like cloud computing and big data. Therefore, it's possible and necessary to develop a cloud computing platform that gathering a variety of data and resources information needed by thousands of incubators and millions of incubated enterprises. In this paper, after comparing three different countries incubator's management procedure, we mainly talk about the way to design a cloud-based incubator platform including its architecture, main functions, and the interface. We assume that the platform can gather and share a variety of information and resource, like money, human resource, equipment, office place and so on. So the platform is beneficial for the incubated enterprises, incubators, and the government. For example, the platform can provide individual services through big data technology. The platform can analysis the situation of incubators and warn the companies in dangerous condition with the history big data. Finally, this paper describes the use case of cloud-based incubator platform for Guangdong Province.

Using translated X-factorable phase space transformations and nonlinear variable transformations a dynamically similar linear ODE model is associated to the Lotka-Volterra system models with a positive equilibrium point. This enables to use a linear full state feedback controller to stabilize the system in controllable cases, that leaves the open loop equilibrium point unchanged. The linear state feedback controller design problem in the general case has also been formulated to ensure the compartmental property of the closed loop system from which the existence of a diagonal Lyapunov function follows. Further extension has been obtained by using the time re-parametrization transformation defined for quasi-polynomial models. © 2015

Sleep stage scoring is used to evaluate one's overnight sleep process, which is important for clinical diagnosis. However, the visual inspection of sleep data is a laborious task and the scoring results may be subjective to different clinicians. The purpose of this paper is to develop an automatic sleep stage classification algorithm to reduce the artificial workload. The overnight sleep data are represented by the extracted features from time domain and frequency domain of EEG. An improved k-means clustering algorithm is proposed to classify overnight sleep data into five stages including awake (W), NREM (Non-Rapid Eye Movement) stage 1 (S1), NREM stage 2 (S2), slow-wave sleep (SS) and REM (Rapid Eye Movement). In the improved k-means clustering algorithm, the points with dense surrounding are selected as the original centers by using the concept of density for reference. Additionally, the cluster centers are updated according to 'Three-Sigma Rule' during the iteration. The determination of cluster center selection was developed which can be adaptive to the actual cases and abate the singular points effect. The obtained results showed that the accuracy of proposed algorithm was satisfied; especially it can distinguish W, SS and REM effectively. Furthermore, the improved k-means algorithm had less number of misclassification and higher accuracy than the original algorithm. © 2015 The Society of Instrument and control Engineers-SICE.

We demonstrate a new tunable MEMS-based WDM&OAM Fabry-Perot filter for simultaneous wavelength (WDM) and Orbital Angular Momentum (OAM) (de)multiplexing. The WDM&OAM filter is suitable for dense on-chip integration and dedicated for the next generation of optical interconnects utilizing all three degrees of freedom of the electromagnetic waves: wavelength, polarization, and OAM. The WDM&OAM filter consists of two Distributed Bragg Reflectors (DBRs), (see Fig. 1a,b): a bottom one fixed to the substrate and a movable top MEMS DBR. An applied tuning current, changing the resonator length, extends the top DBR and hence selects the central filter wavelength. A spiral phase mask on the top switches the OAM order by ±1, ±2, etc. For a detailed description of the structure and fabrication of the device, please refer to [1,2]. The MEMS filter shows a full-width at half-maximum (FWHM) bandwidth of about 0.2 nm and a free spectral range (FSR) of about 126 nm. The phase mask provides sufficient OAM state purity in a 35 nm window around 1550 nm, covering well the whole C-band.

Short message is one of the most common communication media for mobile subscribers, so major mobile operators are devoted to improve their Short Message Service (SMS). However, the annoying and undesired messages, also named message spam or simply spam, not only worsen the users' experience, but also cause their complaints on SMS. In this paper, we present a novel Chinese SMS spam filtering framework based on AdaBoost algorithm to provide accurate and effective short messages classification. Three content-based weak filters are introduced to boost the performance of final classification decision. Results from Receiver Operating Characteristics (ROC) analysis prove the proposed method has such advantages as higher efficiency and fewer parameters over those established SMS spam filtering methods. The application of the proposed method is expected to block the most spam for mobile subscribers and improve the service quality of SMS. With simple data processing and few training parameters, the proposed method can be applied into the practice of short text classification.

Triboelectric energy harvesting is a promising energy harvesting technology which converts ambient mechanical energy into electrical energy using triboelectric and electrostatic coupling effects. In this paper, a contact-mode triboelectric energy harvesting device (TEHD) were qualitatively analyzed using a precision test rig, which accurately controlled the contact force and approach speed. From the governing equations of the contact-mode TEHD, we found factors which influence the performance of TEHD, and this was verified by experiments. The contact force affected to the amount of triboelectric charges, and short-circuit current. The approach speed of moving part did not affect the charges, but the short circuit current, output power, and optimal resistance.
