In certain emergencies, patients must be continuously monitored and cared for. However, visiting the hospital to do such activities is difficult because of time constraints. To modernize the healthcare sector, the study in question presents an empirical Internet of Things and cloud-based, customizable healthcare monitoring system. Initially, a cloud-based algorithm called particle swarm intelligence (PGI) is used in the proposed healthcare monitoring system to group recorded data, hence increasing the prediction rate. Subsequently, features are selected and extracted, and back propagation neural networks (BPNN) are employed to classify healthcare for humans. In the end, the effectiveness of the suggested system is evaluated using a healthcare dataset and contrasted with current deep learning/machine learning classifiers. The suggested surveillance system performs better than the methods employed in the previous research, according to the findings. © Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of Computer Applications and Management 2024.

This research paper aims to provide qualitative and quantitative insights regarding the application of drones and big data techniques in the SCM field through a new scientific method. The proposed method exploits the opportunities of drones for real-time data capturing and big data technologies to enrich decision making in supply chain. The study is pertinent to modern tendencies in supply chain systems and proves the efficiency of the new method through the precise calculations and contrastive analysis. The following are some of the findings that suggest efficiency, cost decrease, and outstanding performance of the supply chain. The studies being offered in this research will prove beneficial for practitioners and researchers who endeavor to advance the concepts and practice of logistics and supply chain management. © 2024 IEEE.

This research highlights the importance of standards and interoperability in the IoT. An essential component of IoT ecosystems is interoperability, which refers to the ability for various systems and devices to converse and share data. Formats for data, methods of communication, and safeguards are all outlined by standards. Widespread adoption and scalability are made possible through interoperability and standards, which allow devices from many manufacturers to communicate with one another. This research investigates the alliances, regulatory authorities, and commercial associations that cooperate in the creation and advancement of open standards that can be embraced by other entities. The main objective of the research is to showcase the construction of an Internet of Things device capable of communicating with various embedded peripheral protocols utilizing Plug and Play (PnP) technology. Moreover, the research examines the impact of regulatory frameworks on the IoT ecosystem and their role in fostering interoperability. An IoT ecosystem necessitates a standardized and open environment to provide optimal performance in terms of connectivity, data exchange, and innovation. This research contributes to the progress of harmonizing and achieving interoperability among World Wide Web Things. © 2024 IEEE.

Machine Learning and Internet of Things (IoT) play a vital role in the current electronics world. Electronic appliances operated by humans are automated and accessed remotely via IoT and 5G networks. Smart Cars, Drone Deliveries, and Intelligent Refrigerators are some of IoT and machine learningmajor applications. Potentially, with the aid of computing devices Intelligent Refrigerators can be accessed from anywhere and anytime. In Intelligent Refrigerators,a single tap on the computing devices predicts the quality of food items kept in the refrigerator. Besides, in order to work smartly, intelligent IoT devices deployed in intelligent refrigerators predict food quality anonymously using machine learningtechniques. This paper uses ensemble machine learning technique with naive bayes, support vector machine and decision tree to classify the considered fruits are spoiled or not. © 2022 IEEE.

Public bus stops in India are becoming more crowded due to the country's fast population expansion. People wait a long time for buses to come, then suddenly congregate around them when they do, packing the buses with people and pushing them up into the footboards, which causes accidents. An additional concern of overcrowding is theft. All of this is the result of numerous bus stops not having adequate information on when busses would arrive. The proposed work paves a very important role for the passengers. The passengers will be provided with the information of the arrival of next bus, seat occupancy and the total passengers inside the bus. The information about the seat occupancy, in-passengers and out-passengers is done with the help of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags. The arrival of the next bus is determined by calculating the duration of the buses that are near using RFID readers placed in different bus stations. The count and the frequency will be interfaced in the web application. The passengers can check the application to know the occupancy and today's society where people can catch the right bus at the station and at the right time. This will solve the problems like waiting in bus stops and wasting time and going in a crowded bus. © 2024 IEEE.

The growth of video content in recent years is a challenging problem due to increased memory storage and time consuming for analyzing content of the video. Therefore, there is a need to reduce the content for human usage. This paper presents a keyframes technique that uses co-occurrence matrix and permutation computation for perceptual video summarization (PVS). The Human Visual system (HVS) needs to incorporate the PVS. It helps to allow for the importance of perceptually significant contents. The proposed method uses different kinds of videos to evaluate the effectiveness of the work. The subjective evaluation scores have evaluated the proposed work. © 2023 IEEE.

Due to over-abundant information on the Web, information filtering becomes a key task for online users to obtain relevant suggestions and how to extract the most related item is always a key topic for researchers in various fields. In this paper, we adopt tools used to analyze complex networks to evaluate user reputation and item quality. In our proposed Accumulative Time Based Ranking (ATR) algorithm, we take into account the growth record of the network to identify the evolution of the reputation of users and the quality of items, by incorporating two behavior weighting factors which can capture the hidden facts on reputation and quality dynamics for each user and item respectively. Our proposed ATR algorithm mainly combines the iterative approach to rank user reputation and item quality with temporal dependence compared with other reputation evaluation methods. We show that our algorithm outperforms other benchmark ranking algorithms in terms of precision and robustness on empirical datasets from various online retailers and the citation datasets among research publications. Therefore, our proposed method has the capability to effectively evaluate user reputation and item quality.

Mobile Ad-Hoc network is a self-configuring and multi-hop collection of mobile devices for making successful communication. The wireless and mobile communication process are encountered based on bandwidth, process control and energy conception. Energy conception is considered and dynamically changed to rely on life time of batteries and power. The life time of battery get exhausted very quickly the nodes are moved and changed rapidly across the network. This paper noticed the problem of life time of power, batteries and energy consumption problem in various routing stages. The proposed Intelligent Gen Algorithm is used to get optimal solution for ensuring high robustness, flexibility and Energy consumption factor. It presents a common framework to balance various routing requirements in MANETs dynamically. The following are the main contributions includes, i. introducing Intelligent GEN Algorithms to classify the throughout bandwidth, delay, data ratio. ii. Various routing performance are evaluated and viewed by speed, packetize and simulation time. The comparison evaluated by select routing algorithm using NS-2. The simulation results are recorded and the performance is monitored by using on demand access protocl. To enhance the generalization of multi-objective feature selection (MOFS) in classification, this paper proposes an evolutionary multitasking algorithm, diverging from previous approaches that exclusively target selected features. The algorithm integrates information from both selected and unselected features, introducing a novel objective to minimize the accuracy of unselected features. This objective, combined with the goal of minimizing classification errors for selected features, forms an auxiliary MOFS task. The paper presents a dual-population evolutionary multitasking framework that synergizes the main MOFS task with the auxiliary task. A knowledge transfer mechanism, based on accuracy preferences, seamlessly shares insights from the auxiliary to the main task, aiming to identify improved Pareto feature subsets. Empirical results demonstrate the superior performance of several state-of-the-art multi-objective algorithms within this framework, highlighting significant improvements across diverse datasets. © 2024 IEEE.

Moving target defense (MTD) is a promising approach to defend against load redistribution attacks on the internet-of-things (IoT)-based smart grid networks by probing the distorted state estimates with the distributed flexible AC transmission system. However, existing studies mainly focus on optimizing the performance of MTD and ignore the safety effect of it on the system’s operation. In this paper, we fill this gap by deeply analyzing the effect of MTD on the small signal stability and aim to alleviate the negative impact and guarantee its defending performance simultaneously. Firstly, the stability is formally described using the eigenvalue sensitivity. The relationship between the MTD-induced perturbation (MTDper) and the stability criteria is derived. Secondly, a new indicator is proposed to measure the effectiveness of MTDper. Thirdly, a constrained optimization problem is formulated to compute the bound of MTDper for guaranteeing the small signal stability. In addition, a surprising finding is that the stability margin can be improved and enhanced by optimizing the value of MTDper without losing the MTD’s effectiveness. Finally, we evaluate the performance of MTDper and its impact on the small signal stability with extensive simulations on the IEEE 30-bus, 39-bus, and 68-bus test power systems. © 2014 IEEE.
