Embryogenesis is the most basic process in developmental *** and simply quantifying cell shape is challenging for the complex and dynamic 3D embryonic *** descriptors such as volume,surface area,and mean curvature often fall short,providing only a global view and lacking in local detail and reconstruction *** this,we introduce an effective integrated method,3D Cell Shape Quantification(3DCSQ),for transforming digitized 3D cell shapes into analytical feature vectors,named eigengrid(proposed grid descriptor like eigen value),eigenharmonic,and *** uniquely combine spherical grids,spherical harmonics,and principal component analysis for cell shape *** demonstrate 3DCSQ’s effectiveness in recognizing cellular morphological phenotypes and clustering *** to Caenorhabditis elegans embryos of 29 living embryos from 4-to 350-cell stages,3DCSQ identifies and quantifies biologically reproducible cellular patterns including distinct skin cell *** also provide automatically cell shape lineaging analysis *** method not only systematizes cell shape description and evaluation but also monitors cell differentiation through shape changes,presenting an advancement in biological imaging and analysis.

Nowadays, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are extensively distributed in environmental monitoring, operational health monitoring, and industrial monitoring. It is an inexpensive application. It contains small, less energy-consuming, lower-cost devices combined with restricted computation, observation, and radio transmission capacities. People nowadays use fire alarms with sensors to detect fires. Fire sensors are unreliable. With the fast growth of WSNs, people can now remotely watch their surroundings to ascertain the current status. A standard fire alarm system is only able to detect one of the environmental parameters at a time. It is possible that there is a fire if the detection value is greater than the threshold;this would indicate that there is a fire. Copper, insulated, or cables are used to make the connections between detectors and alarms in a traditional fire alarm system. Due to the presence of a large number of elements at the site of the fire, the smoke alarm system will be unable to make an accurate determination as to the location of the flames. This article proposes a cognitive fire alert framework (CFAF) for realizing fire in unfriendly environments using WSN. It has a phase for wireless transmission, a phase for cognitive fire recognition, and a phase for the Random Forest Method (RFM). This approach utilizes the RFM to classify the fire by data classification. The results of the experiments show that the suggested technique minimizes the number of false alarms by evaluating the delay value by utilizing data samples and comparing the temperature, humidity, pressure, and dust level. © 2023 IEEE.

Deep Trip Generation with Graph Neural Networks for Bike Sharing System Expansion

Bike sharing is emerging globally as an active, convenient, and sustainable mode of transportation. To plan successful bike-sharing systems (BSSs), many cities start from a small-scale pilot and gradually expand the system to cover more areas. For station-based BSSs, this means planning new stations based on existing ones over time, which requires prediction of the number of trips generated by these new stations across the whole system. Previous studies typically rely on relatively simple regression or machine learning models, which are limited in capturing complex spatial relationships. Despite the growing literature in deep learning methods for travel demand prediction, they are mostly developed for short-term prediction based on time series data, assuming no structural changes to the system. In this study, we focus on the trip generation problem for BSS expansion, and propose a graph neural network (GNN) approach to predicting the station-level demand based on multi-source urban built environment data. Specifically, it constructs multiple localized graphs centered on each target station and uses attention mechanisms to learn the correlation weights between stations. We further illustrate that the proposed approach can be regarded as a generalized spatial regression model, indicating the commonalities between spatial regression and GNNs. The model is evaluated based on realistic experiments using multi-year BSS data from New York City, and the results validate the superior performance of our approach compared to existing methods. We also demonstrate the interpretability of the model for uncovering the effects of built environment features and spatial interactions between stations, which can provide strategic guidance for BSS station location selection and capacity planning. The classification of real time images from the fast data capturing devices in Internet of Things (IoT) environment is a critical task. It requires suitable processing and development of a model for increased accuracy in classifying the objects in real-time. Therefore, the necessity in improving the accuracy of classifying the instances is needed post performing the modelling, building and development of a model. In this paper, a three-dimensional (3D) Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is developed to increase the process of classification for the objects in the real-time environment. The objects needed to train the classifier is supplied and the model is built in python environment. The results show an increased classification accuracy in detecting multi-objectives than the state-of-art models. © 2023 IEEE.

We introduce a novel framework for analyzing reinforcement learning (RL) in continuous state-action spaces, and use it to prove fast rates of convergence in both off-line and on-line settings. Our analysis highlights two key stability properties, relating to how changes in value functions and/or policies affect the Bellman operator and occupation measures. We argue that these properties are satisfied in many continuous state-action Markov decision processes. Our analysis also offers fresh perspectives on the roles of pessimism and optimism in off-line and on-line RL. © 2024 Neural information processing systems foundation. All rights reserved.

Semi-supervised learning (SSL) is a promising solution for the problem of insufficient medical labeled data. However, it is still a challenging task to segment transvaginal ultrasound (TVUS) images because of their poor contrast and speckle noise. In this study, we propose Multi-StudentNet, a semi-supervised deep-learning framework for endometrial segmentation in TVUS images. This method employs multiple student models to effectively integrate labeled and unlabeled data, improving the reliability and performance of segmentation while significantly reducing the need for extensive manual labeling. By leveraging the weights of multiple models, our framework facilitates feature sharing, which enhances model robustness. Specifically, Multi-StudentNet achieves a Dice coefficient (DSC) of 0.81 and a specificity of 0.99. Our multi-student models consistently outperform single-student models across various conditions, including normal, polyp, and cancer cases. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Multi-StudentNet achieves state-of-the-art performance in both accuracy and robustness. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper studies the transfer reinforcement learning (RL) problem where multiple RL problems have different reward functions but share the same underlying transition *** this setting, the Q-function of each RL problem (task) can be decomposed into a successor feature (SF) and a reward mapping: the former characterizes the transition dynamics, and the latter characterizes the task-specific reward *** Q-function decomposition, coupled with a policy improvement operator known as generalized policy improvement (GPI), reduces the sample complexity of finding the optimal Q-function, and thus the SF & GPI framework exhibits promising empirical performance compared to traditional RL methods like ***, its theoretical foundations remain largely unestablished, especially when learning the successor features using deep neural networks (SF-DQN).This paper studies the provable knowledge transfer using SFs-DQN in transfer RL *** establish the first convergence analysis with provable generalization guarantees for SF-DQN with *** theory reveals that SF-DQN with GPI outperforms conventional RL approaches, such as deep Q-network, in terms of both faster convergence rate and better *** experiments on real and synthetic RL tasks support the superior performance of SF-DQN & GPI, aligning with our theoretical findings. Speech separation aims to equip machines with the human ability of selective listening, i.e. to focus attention on specific information in spoken communication. Studies have shown that the language spoken in a cocktail party scenario matters. While the development of speech separation models can leverage extensive databases, for the majority of languages only very limited data is available. This work presents the very first study on speech separation for low-resource languages. We choose blind source separation as the task to be studied and analyze three strategies to overcome the data scarcity of two low-resource languages from the GlobalPhoneMS2 database. We show that data from other languages can be used to develop models that work for low-resource languages. Finetuning additionally boosts the performance, and training on multiple languages increases both performance and robustness. We show that dynamic mixing in the development helps to find a trade-off between performance and development time. © 2025 IEEE.

Microcomputers and medical devices with signal transceivers that operate on a specific radio display constitute the backbone of wireless sensor networks (WS Ns) that monitor environmental conditions (temperature, pressure, light, vibration levels, location). It is widely used in WAN sensor networks because of its flexible design and low setup fees. The u200b touch network allows for the connection of up to 65,000 devices, while the Intelligent sensors on other wireless networks are used to transfer data ports and assign wireless networks. Since the price of wireless solutions has been decreasing, and their functional capabilities have been growing, they are gradually replacing wired ones in telemetry data gathering systems and long- distance detecting communication. A deep learning model was used in this investigation to prevent the sensor nodes from manipulating data. Sensor nodes include a lot of parameters and estimations. If these projected data values are altered, network performance will suffer, and the node's lifetime will be reduced. data security became a priority when the sensor nodes were distributed. This new method is 98.82% more efficient than the previous one. © 2023 IEEE.
