The objective of this paper is to analyze through the Finite Elements Method (FEM) and to dimensional optimize the frontal radiators of cooling system for electric power transformer by type TTU 630 kVA 20/0.4 kV in terms of maximum heat transfer. Finite Elements Analysis was performed using Solid Works 3D CAD Design and COSMOSFlow Works 2008 Soft ware. The proposed method results in the economical design of the electric power transformer by type 630 kVA 20/0.4 kV significantly reduce the cost of manufacturing transformer.

With a view to ensuring the market success, the today's product development must be done in an intelligent manner and must be focused on the process integration. In this way, the present paper approaches a new point of view regarding the concept of Group Technology (GT). The new idea is based on integrating GT with the concept of Constructive-Technological Entity (CTE), resulting an innovative system, extremely efficient for product development. The difference to the traditional concept of GT is that the authors propose giving up grouping the parts into part families and using instead Series of Constructive-Technological Entities (CTE). This new approach allows an innovative use of GT in process plan (CAPP/CAM) as well as in product design (CAD). In this way, the design for manufacture, as a side of concurrent engineering, is facilitated.

The behavior in exploitation of processing centers determines their productivity and the quality of manufactured parts. The term of functional stability refers to the maintenance of processing precision in time on the machines-tool with CNC in the prescribed limits, considering the modification in time of the precision of the machines-tool and the functional safety of the CNC equipment. This paper presents a finite element analysis of water vapor diffusion in a brick with vertical holes. The isotherms, isodensity, isopressure and isohumidity surfaces considering the longitudinal and transverse direction diffusion of water vapor in a brick with vertical holes are determined. The numerical results obtained from this study are usually used in the engineering practice to optimal design the spatial structure of building walls. In this paper is presented a new mathematical model and a numerical programme in Mapple 11 programming language, for optimum design of the interior shape of a hydraulic annular diffuser with interior divergent careening.
