Secure data management and effective data sharing have become paramount in the rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, especially with the growing integration of the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT). The rise of generative artificial intelligence has further elevated Multi-modal Large Language Models (MLLMs) as essential tools for managing and optimizing healthcare data in IoMT. MLLMs can support multi-modal inputs and generate diverse types of content by leveraging large-scale training on vast amounts of multi-modal data. However, critical challenges persist in developing medical MLLMs, including security and freshness issues of healthcare data, affecting the output quality of MLLMs. To this end, in this paper, we propose a hybrid Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)-empowered medical MLLM framework for healthcare data management. This framework leverages a hierarchical cross-chain architecture to facilitate secure data training. Moreover, it enhances the output quality of MLLMs through hybrid RAG, which employs multi-modal metrics to filter various unimodal RAG results and incorporates these retrieval results as additional inputs to MLLMs. Additionally, we employ age of information to indirectly evaluate the data freshness impact of MLLMs and utilize contract theory to incentivize healthcare data holders to share their fresh data, mitigating information asymmetry during data sharing. Finally, we utilize a generative diffusion model-based deep reinforcement learning algorithm to identify the optimal contract for efficient data sharing. Numerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed schemes, which achieve secure and efficient healthcare data management. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Structure searches based on a combination of first-principles calculations and a particle swarm optimization technique unravel two new stable high-pressure structures(C2/m and Cmce) for Ta N2. The structural features, mechanical properties, formation enthalpies, electronic structure, and phase diagram of Ta N2 are fully investigated. Being mechanically and dynamically stable, the two phases could be made metastable experimentally at ambient conditions.

In this paper, a weight control system is developed based on Beckhoff PLC for a ZJ19 cigarette machine, which improved the performance of the existing system, and the control system is also introduced. The system uses the microwave to measure cigarette weight, and uses the digital PID control algorithm to achieve weight control. The system hardware structure is simple, the performance of the system is stable and reliable with quick response set aside the upgrade space. The original machine control system was completely replaced with the designed system to meet the requirements of slender cigarette production precision and the production efficiency and product quality were ensured. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2019.

The PandaX-4T liquid xenon detector at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory is used to measure the solar B8 neutrino flux by detecting neutrinos through coherent scattering with xenon nuclei. Data samples requiring the coincidence of scintillation and ionization signals (paired), as well as unpaired ionization-only signals (US2), are selected with energy threshold of approximately 1.1 keV (0.33 keV) nuclear recoil energy. Combining the commissioning run and the first science run of PandaX-4T, a total exposure of 1.20 and 1.04 tonne·year are collected for the paired and US2, respectively. After unblinding, 3 and 332 events are observed with an expectation of 2.8±0.5 and 251±32 background events, for the paired and US2 data, respectively. A combined analysis yields a best-fit B8 neutrino signal of 3.5 (75) events from the paired (US2) data sample, with ∼37% uncertainty, and the background-only hypothesis is disfavored at 2.64σ significance. This gives a solar B8 neutrino flux of (8.4±3.1)×106 cm−2 s−1, consistent with the standard solar model prediction. It is also the first indication of solar B8 neutrino “fog” in a dark matter direct detection experiment.

We present a novel constraint on light dark matter utilizing 1.54 metric ton/year of data acquired from the PandaX-4T dual-phase xenon time projection chamber. This constraint is derived through detecting electronic recoil signals resulting from the interaction with solar-enhanced dark matter flux. Low-mass dark matter particles, lighter than a few MeV/c2, can scatter with the thermal electrons in the Sun. Consequently, with higher kinetic energy, the boosted dark matter component becomes detectable via contact scattering with xenon electrons, resulting in a few keV energy deposition that exceeds the threshold of PandaX-4T. We calculate the expected recoil energy in PandaX-4T considering the Sun’s acceleration with heavy mediators and the detection capabilities of the xenon detector. The first experimental search results using the xenon detector yield the most stringent upper limits cross section of 3.51×10−39 cm2 at 0.08 MeV/c2 for a solar boosted dark matter mass ranging from 0.02 to 10 MeV/c2, achieving a 23-fold improvement compared with earlier experimental studies.

Energy-resolving computed tomography (ErCT) has the ability to acquire energy-dependent measurements simultaneously and quantitative material information with improved contrast-to-noise ratio. Meanwhile, ErCT imaging system is usually equipped with an advanced photon counting detector, which is expensive and technically complex. Therefore, clinical ErCT scanners are not yet commercially available, and they are in various stage of completion. This makes the researchers less accessible to the ErCT images. In this work, we investigate to produce ErCT images directly from existing energy-integrating CT (EiCT) images via deep neural network. Specifically, different from other networks that produce ErCT images at one specific energy, this model employs a unified generative adversarial network (uGAN) to concurrently train EiCT datasets and ErCT datasets with different energies and then performs image-to-image translation from existing EiCT images to multiple ErCT image outputs at various energy bins. In this study, the present uGAN generates ErCT images at 70keV, 90keV, 110keV, and 130keV simultaneously from EiCT images at140kVp. We evaluate the present uGAN model on a set of over 1380 CT image slices and show that the present uGAN model can produce promising ErCT estimation results compared with the ground truth qualitatively and quantitatively. This paper focuses on the H/H fault detection observer design issue in the finite frequency domain for a class of uncertain descriptor *** detect faults effectively for systems with model uncertainties and in the presence of unknown disturbances,a new fault detection filter is designed to satisfy a finite frequency H/H performance index ***,two basic performance analysis conditions are obtained by the aid of generalized KYP lemma and projection ***,new sufficient conditions for the proposed fault detection observer are derived as bilinear matrix inequalities when consider uncertain terms and our filter design ***,an Iterative Linear Matrix Inequality(ILMI) algorithm is proposed to solve the optimisation *** effectiveness of the proposed method is illustrated by simulation example.

Axionlike particles (ALPs) and dark photons (DPs) are viable dark matter particle candidates. We have searched for possible ALP/DP signals in the PandaX-4T liquid xenon detector using 440 kg·yr of data. A binned likelihood fit is constructed to search for possible mono-energetic peaks induced by the absorption processes between ALPs/DPs and atomic electrons of xenon. A detailed temporal model of decays associated with xenon isotopes is introduced to constrain the number of background events. No signal excess over background expectations is observed, and we have established the most stringent exclusion limits for most ALP/DP masses across the range of 150 keV/c2 to 1 MeV/c2. The improvement is particularly significant within the mass range of 150-400 keV/c2, with the average factor of 3.5 compared to previous results. © 2024, CC BY.

We report a search for a lepton-portal dark matter model, where dark matter couples to a charged lepton in the standard model. This simplified model naturally leads to photon-mediated dark matter interactions with nuclei, making it suitable for direct dark matter detection experiments. Matching to the framework of non-relativistic effective field theory for dark matter, we report the first sensitive search for this model using data from the PandaX-4T commissioning run. Our results yield strong constraints on Dirac fermion dark matter but relatively weaker constraints on Majorana dark matter due to the suppression of effective photon interactions. The PandaX-4T liquid xenon detector at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory is used to measure the solar 8B neutrino flux by detecting neutrinos through coherent scattering with xenon nuclei. Data samples requiring the coincidence of scintillation and ionization signals (paired), as well as unpaired ionization-only signals (US2), are selected with energy threshold of approximately 1.1 keV (0.33 keV) nuclear recoil energy. Combining the commissioning run and the first science run of PandaX-4T, a total exposure of 1.20 and 1.04 tonne·year are collected for the paired and US2, respectively. After unblinding, 3 and 332 events are observed with an expectation of 2.8±0.5 and 251±32 background events, for the paired and US2 data, respectively. A combined analysis yields a best-fit 8B neutrino signal of 3.5 (75) events from the paired (US2) data sample, with ∼37% uncertainty, and the background-only hypothesis is disfavored at 2.64 σ significance. This gives a solar 8B neutrino flux of (8.4 ± 3.1)×106 cm−2s−1, consistent with the standard solar model prediction.
