Graph states play an important role in quantum information theory through their connection to measurement-based computing and error correction. Prior work revealed elegant connections between the graph structure of these states and their multipartite entanglement. We continue this line of investigation by identifying additional entanglement properties for certain types of graph states. From the perspective of tensor theory, we tighten both upper and lower bounds on the tensor rank of odd ring states (|R2n+1〉) to read 2n+1≤rank(|R2n+1〉)≤3×2n−1. Next we show that several multipartite extensions of bipartite entanglement measures are dichotomous for graph states based on the connectivity of the corresponding graph. Finally, we give a simple graph rule for computing the n-tangle τn.

Magnetic Weyl semimetals are promising materials for spintronic applications due to their unique properties in bulk and surface topological states and the rich interplay between band topology and magnetism. While various nontraditional magneto-electrical effects have been studied in magnetic Weyl semimetals, transport properties related to spin-polarized tunneling from these materials remain less explored. In this work, we developed fully epitaxial magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs) based on a ferromagnetic Weyl semimetal Co2MnGa. By growing Co2MnGa films under different conditions, we fabricated a series of MTJs possessing different degrees of order in the semimetal electrodes and compared their tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR). We find that the TMR becomes enhanced with the improvement of the chemical ordering of Co2MnGa. Our results reveal the relationship between the spin tunneling in MTJs and the chemical order of the Co2MnGa electrode and provide insights on further enhancing TMR via semimetal engineering.

Visual question answering(VQA)is a multimodal task,involving a deep understanding of the image scene and the question’s meaning and capturing the relevant correlations between both modalities to infer the appropriate *** this paper,we propose a VQA system intended to answer yes/no questions about real-world images,in *** support a robust VQA system,we work in two directions:(1)Using deep neural networks to semantically represent the given image and question in a fine-grainedmanner,namely ResNet-152 and Gated Recurrent Units(GRU).(2)Studying the role of the utilizedmultimodal bilinear pooling fusion technique in the *** the model complexity and the overall model *** fusion techniques could significantly increase the model complexity,which seriously limits their applicability for VQA *** far,there is no evidence of how efficient these multimodal bilinear pooling fusion techniques are for VQA systems dedicated to yes/no ***,a comparative analysis is conducted between eight bilinear pooling fusion techniques,in terms of their ability to reduce themodel complexity and improve themodel performance in this case of VQA *** indicate that these multimodal bilinear pooling fusion techniques have improved the VQA model’s performance,until reaching the best performance of 89.25%.Further,experiments have proven that the number of answers in the developed VQA system is a critical factor that *** the effectiveness of these multimodal bilinear pooling techniques in achieving their main objective of reducing the model *** Multimodal Local Perception Bilinear Pooling(MLPB)technique has shown the best balance between the model complexity and its performance,for VQA systems designed to answer yes/no questions.
