The world is filled with exciting technologies and ideas;scientists build machines to avoid human intervention in completing work. It is highly challenging to complete the task without the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology intervention. With the technological development, certain processes or consultations are performed with the aid of doctors available around the world. In this scenario, it could be noticed that health care is one of the world's expected domains that require the most incredible attention in data security while performing data transfer. Nodes in the network are considered based on the weakest link to overcome the cyber attacker's issues. Besides building the software for data storage, a better mechanism has to be incorporated to provide security to the stored data. This process is a delicate task for every network engineer. This paper will explain such concepts related to health prediction and health care by building the most robust network security systems. Finally, the discussion would cross over human-looping systems, which act as one of the common problems that are affected mentally for a person. The proposed optimized neural network model is compared with the existing data summarization method. From the results it is observed that the proposed model achieves an accuracy of 98.89% which is 4.76% higher than the existing model. © 2022 IEEE.

Since 2019, the world has suffered from the outbreak of the "Coronavirus Disease (COVID)-19 pandemic. This study used the principle of Ultraviolet (UV)-C disinfection to produce a mobile high-power UV-C sterilizer. It focused on combining intelligent control systems, human sensors, and Internet of Things (IoT) systems to carry out disinfection tasks in unmanned indoor spaces. Because of its mobile nature, the sterilizer could be moved at any time in various learning, research, and activity rooms for disinfection. In addition to manually controlling the sterilizer, a Wi-Fi or Narrowband (NB)-IoT-enabled remote control was provided to start the disinfection process. In order to prevent ultraviolet light from harming the human body, sensors were employed self-acting to detect the presence of people and turn off the ultraviolet light when people were detected in the area. At the same time, a camera on the sterilizer would capture an image and notify the relevant personnel through a LINE notification, to prevent the human body from being exposed to ultraviolet light, causing harm to the teachers and students on campus. During operation, voice broadcast reminders and a status indicator could provide information about the operation status. After disinfection, users could view the disinfection process through a mobile device application or a webpage, which would automatically notify relevant personnel of the disinfection status through a LINE notification. In this way, the disinfection progress could be updated at anytime, anywhere and the current disinfection status in the classroom could be displayed in real-time, allowing teachers and students on campus to carry out teaching and learning in a safe and secure environment. © The Author(s).

A prominent application in healthcare is the classification and detection of breast cancer using convolutional neural networks (CNNs). It entails creating a system that can precisely pinpoint malignant spots or gauge the tendency of breast cancer through the examination of diagnostic pictures like mammograms. This study focuses on the use of Convolutional Neural Networks for the detection and classification of breast cancer. The proposed model analyzes mammogram images to distinguish cancerous and non-cancerous instances automatically. Preparing the dataset developing the CNNs model’s architecture, training the model, assessing its performance, and producing predictions based on hypothetical data are all the steps in the process. The CNN model learns to extract relevant features and patterns from a large dataset, increasing classification accuracy. Tests show that the CNN model is effective at correctly identifying breast cancer. This method will help medical professionals diagnose patients quickly and correctly, improving patient outcomes in the fight against breast cancer. The prediction can be improved using post-processing techniques and the trained model can be used in practical applications. The model accuracy was 0.98 and the model loss was 0.14. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

We report a novel hybrid neural interface device that not only enables simultaneous application of electrical and optical stimuli but also offers electrophysiological recording capability. A 6×6 silicon dual microneedle electrode array was fabricated and each pair consisted of recording and stimulating electrodes. A mini-LED matrix was also integrated underneath the electrode array to deliver optical stimulation. Spiking activities of retinal ganglion cells of an ex-vivo retina were successfully recorded in response to electrical and optical stimuli applied from the fabricated device. © 2025 IEEE.

In this paper, we present an architecture for the deployment of an edge computing system based on Named Data Networking (NDN) as part of a private 5G network. Our proposed architecture integrates IP-based and non-IP-based components using the W3C Web of Things (WoT) standards, including a Thing Description Directory (TDD). Our results highlight the potential of both edge computing and WoT concepts for private 5G deployments but also reveal several standardization gaps that need to be closed to make effective use of the new technologies. © 2025 IEEE.

The most important sector of Indian economy which is identified as the backbone is agriculture. The major part of agriculture lies in paddy cultivation. In earlier days, agriculture was the major sector where most people were employed but nowadays, due to industrial growth and IT revolution, the employment in agriculture has become too less. The major part of economy which is vital for India’s economic growth is now facing serious issues due to the manpower shortage, lack of advancement in technological usage. This proposes a solution to meet out this issue by bringing in automation in the agriculture domain. Agricultural processes are chains of systematic, repetitive and time-dependent tasks. It requires lot of manual labor and accurate placement and managing of seeds and saplings. It’s a case where a human error is highly possible. In this work, an attempt is made to automate the process of distributing the seeds and once they are grown big enough to get transplanted, the robotic solution will transplant these plants. The automated solution will distribute the seeds in an organized and optimized way. The General Lotto game is a well-studied model where two opposing players strategically allocate their resources to multiple battlefields. In its classic setting, each player's objective is to secure as much value as possible by winning many individual battlefields. However, in many applications, a player must secure particular subsets of battlefields in order to succeed. The classic setting fails to capture a variety of adversarial interactions – for instance, ensuring the security of networks or cyber-security domains. In this paper, we focus on a particular alternate player objective known as the majoritarian objective, where a player needs to secure a majority of battlefields in order to succeed. Equilibrium characterizations for the majoritarian objective in the existing literature are limited to particular symmetric settings where both players place the same value in succeeding. Our contributions extend these equilibrium solutions to asymmetric cases in two different settings: 1) both players have fixed and asymmetric resource budgets, and 2) both players place different values in succeeding and pay costs for allocating resources.

Several solutions exist to detect whether English news articles are fake or not. However, in a country such as India, news articles are published in numerous regional languages too. There has been little research work done on regional languages such as Hindi. This work proposes a framework to detect Hindi fake news articles. A dataset of nearly 4500 news articles has been collected in Hindi, written using the Devanagari Script. These news articles are scraped using BeautifulSoup and Scrapy libraries. The IndicBERT and MuRIL libraries, developed earlier in Hindi, are used to generate the word embedding. SVM, Logistic Regression, and a simple CNN are used as classifiers. Extensive experiments have been methodically conducted in order to find the best combination to detect fake news in Hindi. The best combination was found to be MuRIL and SVM, yielding 98.58% classification accuracy. A standalone GUI running on a local host is built to demonstrate the working model. © 2023 IEEE.

Realizing Immersive Communications in Human Digital Twin by Edge Computing Empowered Tactile Internet: Visions and Case Study

Human digital twin (HDT) is expected to revolutionize the future human lifestyle and prompt the development of advanced human-centric applications (e.g., Metaverse) by bridging physical and virtual spaces. However, the fulfillment of HDT poses stringent demands on the pervasive connectivity, real-time feedback, multi-modal data transmission and ultrahigh reliability, which urge the need of enabling immersive communications. In this article, we shed light on the design of an immersive communication framework for HDT by edge computing empowered tactile Internet (namely IC-HDT-ECoTI). Aiming at offering strong interactions and extremely immersive quality of experience, we introduce the system architecture of IC-HDT-ECoTI, and analyze its major design requirements and challenges. Moreover, we present core guidelines and detailed steps for system implementations. In addition, we conduct an experimental study based on our recently built testbed, which shows a particular use case of IC-HDT-ECoTI in physical therapy, and the obtained results indicate that the proposed framework can significantly improve the effectiveness of the system. Finally, we conclude this article with a brief discussion of open issues and future directions. © 1986-2012 IEEE.
