Predictive maintenance practices rely on reliable scheduling and allocation of resources to sustain seamless operations. Advent of agent technology has increased the avenues to manage efficient schedules in distributed industry settings. This paper proposes a multi-agent architecture with behavior based trust computations and reinforcement learning to effectively manage multiple schedule assignments. To formalize the schedule maintenance problem, bigraph was used to model the centralized resource allocations among multiple schedules. Reinforcement learning algorithms was used to compute and update trust values based on the agent behaviors. Results reveal that the cooperation among agents helps to maintain a variation in assignments to less than 40%. © 2024 IEEE.

In order to enhance Bluetooth, this paper proposes to employ a low-density parity-check (LDPC) code instead of S2 and S8 coding schemes in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) coded standard. Since decoding LDPC codes requires log-likelihood ratios (LLRs), the Viterbi algorithm is modified so that it can obtain the LLR from the correlation between received and reference signals. Simulation results under the additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel condition show that when signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is greater than or equal to 3 dB, Bluetooth LDPC performance with LDPC is superior to both of the standard BLE coded schemes. Moreover, the average decoding time is 16.954 times shorter than that of BLE coded S8. Thus, enhanced Bluetooth LDPC is suitable for the AWGN channel with SNR greater than or equal to 3 dB because it needs fewer redundancy bits to provide lower packet error rate (PER) with shorter decoding time. © 2023 IEEE.

The field of high-bandwidth holography has been extensively studied over the past *** angular momentum(OAM)holography,which utilizes vortex beams with theoretically unbounded OAM modes as information carriers,showcases the large capacitance of hologram ***,OAM holography has been limited to a single wavelength,restricting its potential for full-color holography and *** this study,we propose wavelength and OAM multiplexed holography that utilizes the multiple dimensions of light—wavelength and OAM—to provide a multi-color platform that expands the information capacity of holographic storage *** proposed wavelength-OAM multiplexed holography is physically realized by a metasurface,the state-of-the-art optical element consisting of an array of artificially engineered *** silicon meta-atoms,the constituents of the metasurface,are engineered to possess wavelength selectivity by tailoring the dispersion of polarization *** meta-atoms are used to encode the calculated OAM-preserved phase maps based on our *** sampling grid of the phase map is rotated by 45°,which effectively suppress higher-order diffraction,providing a great strategy for achieving large field-of-view(FOV)*** successfully demonstrate six holographic images that are selectively reconstructed under the illumination of light with specific wavelengths(λ=450,635 nm)and topological charges(l=-2,0,2),without high-order *** work suggests that ultrathin meta-holograms can potentially realize ultrahigh-bandwidth full-color holography and holographic video displays with large FOV.

The aim of this work is to develop numerical procedures for analyzing edge hardening using induction heating by turbulent currents. The section through the steel bar, whose lower edge needs to be hardened, is presented. For the inductor adapted to the piece configuration, the 2D model is assumed. The surface treatment of the piece must be differentiated: in the tip area, the heating must be greater than in the rest of the surface. Only the tip area needs to be subjected to hardening, while the rest of the piece must remain elastic to ensure the desired mechanical strength. The main purpose of this work is to propose inductor models for achieving differentiated heating of the blade. © 2023 IEEE.

With increasingly challenging applications for quadrotors, higher requirements are emerging for tracking accuracy and safety. While high accuracy is a prerequisite for complex tasks, safety is ensured through tolerance to actuator faults and resistance to external disturbances. In this article, adaptive robust control (ARC) integrated with Gaussian processes (GPs), i.e., ARC-GP, is proposed to achieve enhanced accuracy, fault tolerance, and anti-disturbance. These three requirements are interrelated and affected by uncertainties. The primary idea of this article is to categorize uncertainties into parametric and nonparametric types, which are then addressed through parameter adaptation and GP, respectively. First, a detailed dynamic model is established, including actuator models that reflect different types of faults corresponding to changes in different physical parameters. Then, parameter adaptation is designed, with direct and indirect methods adopted for different parameters. In particular, the actuator parameters are effectively estimated to achieve targeted fault compensation. Regarding GP for nonparametric uncertainties, its model parameters are also updated via parameter adaptation. The GP thereby also learns parameter estimation errors along with external disturbances. Accordingly, ARC controllers are designed, for which robust feedback terms are constructed to further mitigate uncertainties on the basis of the covariances predicted by GP. The experiments demonstrate that the proposed ARC-GP can actively tolerate various types of actuator faults and better resist wind disturbances. © 2013 IEEE.

Unlike the fifth generation (5G), which is well recognized for network cloudification with micro-service-oriented design, the sixth generation (6G) of networks is directly tied to intelligent network orchestration and management. The Attacks Detection in 6G (AD6Gs) wireless networks created by this research uses a Machine Learning (ML) algorithm. The pre-processing stage of the ML-AD6Gs process is the initial step. The second stage involves the feature selection approach. Correlation Feature Selection algorithm (CFS) is used to implement the suggested hybrid strategy. It selects the best subset feature and reduces dimensionality for each independent analyses of the dataset CICDDOS2019. The voting average method is used as an aggregation step, and two classifiers - Random Forest (RF) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) - are modified to be used as ML Algorithms. The proposed method shown an outperformed the existing classification method. The accuracy was 99.9%% for CICDDOS2019 dataset with a false alarm rate of 0.00102 © 2023 IEEE.

Protein-protein interactions are of great significance for human to understand the functional mechanisms of *** the rapid development of high-throughput genomic technologies,massive protein-protein interaction(PPI)data have been generated,making it very difficult to analyze them *** address this problem,this paper presents a distributed framework by reimplementing one of state-of-the-art algorithms,i.e.,CoFex,using *** do so,an in-depth analysis of its limitations is conducted from the perspectives of efficiency and memory consumption when applying it for large-scale PPI data analysis and *** solutions are then devised to overcome these *** particular,we adopt a novel tree-based data structure to reduce the heavy memory consumption caused by the huge sequence information of *** that,its procedure is modified by following the MapReduce framework to take the prediction task distributively.A series of extensive experiments have been conducted to evaluate the performance of our framework in terms of both efficiency and *** results well demonstrate that the proposed framework can considerably improve its computational efficiency by more than two orders of magnitude while retaining the same high accuracy.

A multiple antenna placement system analysis for the improvement of efficiency and capacity for inter and intra vehicular communication is proposed in this article. Four antennas are placed in the four locations of the vehicular body which includes roof, side mirror, rear screen, and dashboard. The constituted antenna occupying the dimension of 40×38.5×0.2 mm3 on flexible substrate material of photo paper and the bending analysis of the model as per the conformal nature on vehicular body is also analyzed and presented in this work. The received power from each receiving antenna response with respect to the transmitter has been analyzed. The channel capacity with respect to the antenna position for V2V communication is analyzed in different areas and in different environmental conditions. © 2024, Electromagnetics Academy.
