In LTE-Advanced, device-to-device (D2D) communication is a technology enables to increase the coverage and capacity coverage in metropolitan areas. Improvements in energy efficiency, throughput, latency, spectrum efficiency, and interference reduction have all been proposed. It is used in many domains, including applications, network traffic offloading, and public safety, and is recognized as one of the viable ways for the 5G wireless communications system. LTE advanced might perform worse in D2D communications because of multipath impact and delay dispersion. It is an essential and important element for the design of receivers in mobile communication systems. In this study, the spectrum efficiency, throughput, data rate, signal-to-interference-pulse-noise ratio, and latency of LTE-based D2D communications will be examined (SINR). © 2023 IEEE.

We study a temporal step size control of explicit Runge-Kutta(RK)methods for com-pressible computational fluid dynamics(CFD),including the Navier-Stokes equations and hyperbolic systems of conservation laws such as the Euler *** demonstrate that error-based approaches are convenient in a wide range of applications and compare them to more classical step size control based on a Courant-Friedrichs-Lewy(CFL)*** numerical examples show that the error-based step size control is easy to use,robust,and efficient,e.g.,for(initial)transient periods,complex geometries,nonlinear shock captur-ing approaches,and schemes that use nonlinear entropy *** demonstrate these properties for problems ranging from well-understood academic test cases to industrially relevant large-scale computations with two disjoint code bases,the open source Julia pack-ages *** with *** and the C/Fortran code SSDC based on PETSc.

Seamless Distributed Power Management of DC Microgrid under Cyber Attacks with Bidirectional Power Flow

A seamless distributed power management for the dc microgrid (DCMG) with bidirectional power flow is presented in this paper to achieve the overall system stabilization even under severe cyber attacks. First, a distributed secondary control (DSC) based on the V*-P droop curves is presented to ensure the power and voltage regulation for the DCMG system consisting of the electric vehicle (EV), wind turbine, battery, load, and utility grid agents under uncertain conditions. The proposed scheme automatically adjusts the utility grid droop curve to minimize electricity expenditure under electricity price change. To eliminate the negative effect of severe cyber attacks such as false data injection (FDI) and denial-of-service (DoS) in the distributed DCMG system, a resilient DSC based on the compensation term is utilized in the proposed scheme. In addition, by modifying the DSC structure of each power agent, the proposed scheme reduces the overshoot of the dc bus voltage even in the presence of the electricity price change, agent power variation, sudden utility grid disconnection, or critical state-of-charge (SOC) levels. Furthermore, the proposed distributed DCMG system utilizes only the unidirectional digital communication links (DCLs) to cut down the system cost and communication burden, which greatly simplifies communication structure. The efficiency and feasibility of the proposed distributed power management are validated by simulation and experimental results under various conditions. © 2025 IEEE.

In pursuit of autonomous vehicles, achieving human-like driving behavior is vital. This study introduces adaptive autopilot (AA), a unique framework utilizing constrained-deep reinforcement learning (C-DRL). AA aims to safely emulate human driving to reduce the necessity for driver intervention. Focusing on the car-following scenario, the process involves (i) extracting data from the highD natural driving study and categorizing it into three driving styles using a rule-based classifier;(ii) employing deep neural network (DNN) regressors to predict human-like acceleration across styles;and (iii) using C-DRL, specifically the soft actor-critic Lagrangian technique, to learn human-like safe driving policies. Results indicate effectiveness in each step, with the rule-based classifier distinguishing driving styles, the regressor model accurately predicting acceleration, outperforming traditional car-following models, and C-DRL agents learning optimal policies for humanlike driving across styles. © 2024 IEEE.

This study presents the development of an innovative system designed to facilitate the customers, especially elderly and people with disabilities, in their shopping experience. The proposed solution employes deep learning for product identification and obstacle detection in combination with a smartphone app that serves as the user interface. The solution offers functionalities such as product selection, shortest path calculation, automatic shopping list fulfillment and obstacle detection. A High Resolution Convolutional Neural Network with Squeeze and Excitation Module for Automatic Modulation Classification

Automatic modulation classification(AMC) technology is one of the cutting-edge technologies in cognitive radio communications. AMC based on deep learning has recently attracted much attention due to its superior performances in classification accuracy and robustness. In this paper, we propose a novel, high resolution and multi-scale feature fusion convolutional neural network model with a squeeze-excitation block, referred to as HRSENet,to classify different kinds of modulation *** proposed model establishes a parallel computing mechanism of multi-resolution feature maps through the multi-layer convolution operation, which effectively reduces the information loss caused by downsampling convolution. Moreover, through dense skipconnecting at the same resolution and up-sampling or down-sampling connection at different resolutions, the low resolution representation of the deep feature maps and the high resolution representation of the shallow feature maps are simultaneously extracted and fully integrated, which is benificial to mine signal multilevel features. Finally, the feature squeeze and excitation module embedded in the decoder is used to adjust the response weights between channels, further improving classification accuracy of proposed *** proposed HRSENet significantly outperforms existing methods in terms of classification accuracy on the public dataset “Over the Air” in signal-to-noise(SNR) ranging from-2dB to 20dB. The classification accuracy in the proposed model achieves 85.36% and97.30% at 4dB and 10dB, respectively, with the improvement by 9.71% and 5.82% compared to ***, the model also has a moderate computation complexity compared with several state-of-the-art methods.
