This paper focuses on the quadratic nonfragile filtering problem for linear non-Gaussian systems under multiplicative noises,multiple missing measurements as well as the dynamic event-triggered transmission *** multiple missing measurements are characterized through random variables that obey some given probability distributions,and thresholds of the dynamic event-triggered scheme can be adjusted dynamically via an auxiliary *** attention is concentrated on designing a dynamic event-triggered quadratic nonfragile filter in the well-known minimum-variance *** this end,the original system is first augmented by stacking its state/measurement vectors together with second-order Kronecker powers,thus the original design issue is reformulated as that of the augmented ***,we analyze statistical properties of augmented noises as well as high-order moments of certain random *** the aid of two well-defined matrix difference equations,we not only obtain upper bounds on filtering error covariances,but also minimize those bounds via carefully designing gain ***,an example is presented to explain the effectiveness of this newly established quadratic filtering algorithm.

In this paper we investigate the design of optimal spatially distributed controllers for a linear and spatially invariant reaction-diffusion process over the real line. The controller receives state measurements from different spatial locations with non-negligible delays. In this set-up and for the class of proportional spatially invariant state feedback controllers, the optimal control synthesis problem is equivalent to a feedback gain optimization for a spatially distributed delay system. We show that the spatial locality of optimal feedback gains is affected not only by diffusion and reaction coefficients, but also by the parameter representing communication time-delay that causes a sharp flattening of the control gains. In the expensive control regime, the optimal controller is solved analytically, yielding some practical design guidelines.

Lithium-ion batteries are widely applied in sustainable energy conversion system. Consequently, it is of great research significance to accurately estimate the state of health (SOH) of batteries. To effectively model the input features at the spatial level, this article proposes a self-attention graph pooling convolutional network (SAGPCN) to estimate the SOH. The advantages of SAGPCN proposed in this paper can be reflected as follows: (1) The SAGPCN can consider node characteristics and graph topology, which focuses the attention on key parts of the graph. (2) The SAGPCN designs a self-attention mechanism to reserve significant nodes and delete secondary nodes, so as to optimize the network structure. A real-world dataset is adopted to evaluate the proposed battery SOH estimation approach in this paper. Experimental results represent that the estimation performance of the proposed SAGPCN is better than some data-driven SOH prediction approaches.

In this paper, we introduce a ROS based framework designed for the planning and control of robotic systems within the context of precision agriculture, with an emphasis on human-in-the-loop capabilities. Utilizing Linear Temporal Logic to articulate complex task specifications, our algorithm creates high-level robotic plans that are not only correct by design but also adaptable in real time by human operators. This dual-focus approach ensures that while humans have the flexibility to modify the high-level plan on-the-fly or even take over low-level control of the robots, the system inherently safeguards against any human actions that could potentially breach the predefined task specifications. We demonstrate our algorithm within the dynamic and challenging environment of a real vineyard, where the collaboration between human workers and robots is critical for tasks such as harvesting and pruning, and show the practical applicability and robustness of our software. This work marks a pioneering application of formal methods to complex, real-world agricultural environments.

With the rapid advancement of data acquisition technologies, multiview data have been widely applied in fields such as social networks, computer vision, and natural language processing. Multiview data typically contain information arising from different views or sensors, offering more perspectives for observation. The multiview nature also brings challenges, such as high dimensionality, noise, heterogeneity, and redundancy. Particularly, in scenarios with limited labeled data, traditional single-view learning methods often struggle to handle these complex issues. To address this, this article proposes an unsupervised multiview learning framework that integrates Takagi–Sugeno–Kang fuzzy systems and graph-based adaptive regularization (MvTSK-GAR) to handle the heterogeneity and redundancy in multiview data effectively. Specifically, this article first captures the uncertainty in multiview data through fuzzy rules and models the structural relationships between the data using graph-based adaptive regularization. The framework does not rely on a large amount of labeled data. Instead, it integrates complementary information coming from different views to automatically mine latent patterns, thus generating more accurate and stable data representations. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed framework performs well in various real-world applications, particularly excelling in high-dimensional data processing and noise reduction. In recent years, as people’s living standards have improved and consumption concepts have been transformed, the demand for purchasing consumer electronics online has continued to grow, further stimulating the development of the logistics industry. Consequently, how to deliver consumer electronics to households at minimal cost has become a crucial factor that limits the development of the consumer technology industry. To tackle this problem, this paper studies the task assignment problem for multiple initially dispersed UAVs to deliver products to target locations while minimizing their total operation time. Each UAV can continuously provide delivery services to multiple target locations within its limited loading capacity and operation time. To solve this problem, we propose several hybrid multipopulation genetic algorithms. First, a novel crossover operator for the genetic algorithms is designed, through which a single parent chromosome can generate offspring individually. Second, two mutation mechanisms are performed to increase gene diversity. Third, multiple local search strategies are employed to enhance the populations’ fitness during each iteration of evolution. An improved 2-opt local search strategy is applied to optimize individual chromosomes when their similarity with the current best chromosome falls below a prescribed threshold. Alternatively, local search strategies are utilized for 1-opt, 2h-opt and interchange processes. Combining local search strategies, genetic operators, and the multi-population mechanism leads to several hybrid multi-population genetic algorithms. Numerical simulations and experimental tests demonstrate that the hybrid multi-population genetic algorithm, integrated with the improved 2-opt and 1-opt local search strategies, exhibits superior performance among the designed hybrid genetic algorithms, the minimum marginal cost algorithm (MMA), and the existing popular Co-evolutionary Multi-population Genetic Algorithm (CMGA). As an important component of the sixth generation communication technologies, the space-air-ground integrated network (SAGIN) attracts increasing attentions in recent years. However, due to the mobility and heterogeneity of the components such as satellites and unmanned aerial vehiclesin multi-layer SAGIN, the challenges of inefficient resource allocation and management complexity are aggregated. To this end, the network function virtualization technology is introduced and can be implemented via service function chains (SFCs) deployment. However, urgent unexpected tasks may bring conflicts and resource competition during SFC deployment, and how to schedule the SFCs of multiple tasks in SAGIN is a key issue. In this paper, we address the dynamic and complexity of SAGIN by presenting a reconfigurable time extension graph and further propose the dynamic SFC scheduling model. Then, we formulate the SFC scheduling problem to maximize the number of successful deployed SFCs within limited resources and time horizons. Since the problem is in the form of integer linear programming and intractable to solve, we propose the algorithm by incorporating deep reinforcement learning. Finally, simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has better convergence and performance compared to other benchmark algorithms. © 2025 IEEE.

The increasing adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) as a sustainable and efficient alternative to conventional gasoline-powered vehicles highlights the critical need for a reliable and effective charging infrastructure. This paper introduces an advanced control strategy for a power-split hybrid transmission system, which integrates a bi-directional DC-DC converter to optimize power management in hybrid and electric vehicle applications. The system architecture, incorporating a planetary gear system alongside motor and generator components, functions as a variable ratio gear, enabling smooth and efficient energy distribution. MATLAB/Simulink simulations assessed the system's performance under acceleration and regenerative braking conditions, highlighting the converter's ability to manage energy flow effectively between the battery and motor. The research investigates the differences between isolated and non-isolated DC-DC converters, highlighting the benefits of both designs in a variety of applications. Isolated converters improve safety and noise isolation; however, non-isolated systems are more compact and cost-effective. The results demonstrate the proposed system's ability to utilize electrical power exclusively during vehicle maneuvers, optimize energy efficiency, and reduce reliance on mechanical power. This research underscores the potential for advanced DC-DC converter topologies to enhance power management strategies in hybrid systems, providing valuable insights for future innovations in energy storage, power conversion, and electric vehicle technologies.
