We introduce the Egs mote platform based on the Cortex M3 microcontroller that focuses on medical sensing applications. Egs uses an Atmel SAM3U microcontroller that runs up to 96 MHz and has up to 52 KB of RAM and 256 KB of Flash. Egs combines this microcontroller with two radios (802.15.4 and Bluetooth), external flash, on board sensors, and a LCD touchscreen to enable a rich set of wireless sensing applications.

This paper describes development of a biotelemetric system and problem of real time processing of ECG signal. In this case of signal processing ECG CorBelt primarily on mobile embedded monitoring stations. The Whole system is based on Microsoft product as Windows Mobile, Microsoft SQL Server, .NET Micro Framework, .NET Compact Framework and .NET Framework. On paper is deal with ECG measurement devices and there are evaluated pasted real tests. Problem in processing of ECG signal is quantity of transfered data. Commercial mobile devices can't processing this data on Real Time. Our paper are described possibilities of parsing of this ECG signal. Visualization of data is solved by small userfriendly application created in WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) and Silverlight application. This application was created in development environment Microsoft Expression Blend and was subjected to stress tests. This application and tests results are presented too.

This paper describes one part of our Biotelemetric System. This part is hardware platform from preprocessing of ECG signal. In order to real time visualization of ECG data, we need measure and process real data from ECG device. This paper discusses main possibilities to solve this problem. First possibility is using of commercial devices, such as embedded PCs, PDAs and wireless ECG unit BlueECG communicating via bluetooth. Suggests major problems and disadvantages of their use and offers possible solutions. This possibility is construction of our own purpose-built equipment. Advantages of our own equipment are its low power consumption and collaboration with mobile devices with limited computing capabilities. In the end we describe the real-time response time of packet parsing problem.

Model Predictive Direct Torque control (MPDTC) is a recent computational control methodology that combines the merits of Model Predictive control (MPC) with the ones of Direct Torque control (DTC). Specifically, with respect to standard DTC, the converter's switching frequency and/or losses are considerably reduced, while at the same time the Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) levels of the phase currents and the torque are improved. Moreover, DTC's favorable dynamic and robustness properties are preserved. This paper presents an MPDTC scheme for a permanent magnet synchronous motor that achieves long prediction horizons in the range of up to 150 time-steps through the use of extrapolation and bounds. A discrete-time internal controller model of the drive system is derived from the physical equations. Simulation results for a three-level voltage source inverter indicate that such an MPDTC scheme, compared to an industry standard controller, is capable of reducing the switching losses and the switching frequency by up to 50%, and the torque THD by 25%, while leaving the current THD unchanged.

This paper deals with the problem of numerical analysis of multidimensional systems with interval parameters in relation to the operability of MIMO systems. The problem is analyzed for the case when the relative estimation of the interval parameters exceeds 0.5 and based on the assumption that only the state matrix of a MIMO system contains interval parameters. The problem of operability estimation of the MIMO system is solved with interval degeneration factors. Interval degeneration factors are constructed using interval arithmetic and the singular values of the interval criterion matrices of the system. An operability analysis algorithm of multidimensional systems with interval parameters is proposed in the paper. The results are supported with an example.

This article deals with noise reduction in modern communication systems. Primarily it focuses on cases where conventional filtering techniques based on linear filtering fail. It is modern based approach to adaptive filtering. The article presents a comprehensive hardware and software solutions to the adaptive system using the two main leaders of adaptive LMS (least mean square) and RLS (recursive least squares) algorithms. Adaptive system for noise reduction in radio (mobile) communication is designed in Matlab. This paper regards TCP network as network infrastructure, and the traditional linear interpolation is applied in slave system to make slave system possesses smaller sampling period than in remote system, and then maintain motion precision. About data dropout caused because of network delay, this paper utilizes TCP network guarantee characteristic that message can achieve match SDQ-based message estimator succeeding and accurate estimating the loss message to maintain good motion precision. In simulation, combine linear interpolation mechanism and SDQ-based message estimator, can improve motion NCS tracking accuracy, and under the high frequency motion position commands, there are more apparent improvement results.

In this paper, the stabilization problems of a class of new hyperchaotic systems with fully unknown parameters are concerned. Based on the adaptive control idea, two novel adaptive state feedback controllers are designed to implement the asymptotic stabilization of this kind of new hyperchaotic system by choosing appropriate controller structure and parametric updating law, respectively. The effectiveness of the proposed adaptive control method is verified by simulation results.
