Along with the development of smart energy, we take typical integrated energy systems (IES) into research considering various coupling modes and constraints, building a model of the IES for combined cooling, heating and power system, and propose the using of gas micro-turbine as a power supply. On this basis, the three dimension particle swarm optimization algorithm is applied to conduct operational and management research in one typical day, which provides a reference for the economic and low-carbon planning and operation of the IES, moreover demonstrates the superiority and effectiveness of the integrated energy systems compared to the traditional discrete energy systems. Furthermore, the paper gives the effective steps of allocation and optimization methods and vision of integrated energy systems. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper provides an overview of microgrid control strategies, examining differences between centralized and decentralized approaches, and focusing on classical hierarchical control schemes as well as the structure of three-layer microgrid control systems. It also explores Hardware-in-the-Loop modeling, a crucial approach for microgrid simulation, with particular emphasis on devices supporting microgrid modeling. The paper primarily focuses on the design and implementation requirements of an experimental setup for real-time testing of microgrid control algorithms. The setup incorporates Hardware-in-the-Loop device, a power amplifier, a power converter, a battery energy storage system, and a digital controller. It is specifically designed to handle both power and information (control) signals, facilitating a comprehensive approach to evaluating and validating microgrid control strategies in real-world conditions. A detailed analysis of the setup elements and their interactions is also provided. © 2025 IEEE.

Epileptic seizures affect millions of people worldwide. Medical treatments exist to help lessen the severity of the damage caused by these seizures. However, people with epilepsy still struggle with unexpected seizures. People who experience epileptic seizures have Electroencephalogram (EEG) signals that show different features in comparison to a healthy brain. In this study, EEG signals are studied to detect the seizures. The incoming signals are denoised by using linear phase filters. In next step these are divided in fix-length segments. Then, each segment is broken down using the Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) into Intrinsic Mode Functions (IMFs). For an automatic identification of EEG signals, features are extracted from the collected IMFs and then processed using machine learning techniques. A dataset on epilepsy that is available to the public is used for evaluation. To determine which is the best predictor for the under-consideration dataset, four different classification methods are performed and the results are examined. The system achieves a classification accuracy of 96.70%. © 2023 IEEE.

This study proposes an innovative approach to improve solar cooking systems by combining microcontroller technology and deep-learning techniques. The Solar-PV Microcontroller-based Cooker concept aims to provide a sustainable and eco-friendly cooking method by harnessing the sun's power. This innovative approach addresses global energy conservation and access to clean cooking options, particularly in areas where conventional methods contribute to deforestation and indoor air pollution. The system includes inputs for cooking duration and temperature monitoring, enhancing solar energy efficiency and user experience. The study investigates how deep learning algorithms can be incorporated into the microcontroller-based solar cooker system to enhance functionality and versatility. Cooking settings can be automatically adjusted to maximize energy consumption and cooking results by analyzing real-time data from sensors and human inputs. The hybrid approach combines the best features of deep learning with microcontroller technology, demonstrating the significance of renewable energy in a cleaner, more efficient future. The Solar-Pv cooker demonstrates the possibilities of fusing culinary technology with computer algorithms, showcasing the potential of renewable energy in a cleaner, more efficient future. © 2024 IEEE.

This research analyses the complex dynamics of Cyber-Physical-Social systems (CPSS), encompassing cyber-physical systems, cybersecurity, the Internet of Things (IoT), and social media. By exploring the interactions among these elements, this study analyses the vulnerabilities, risks, and potential benefits within the CPSS framework. Auxiliary power supplies (APS) in high voltage silicon carbide (SiC) applications, such as 10 kV systems, require high insulation capability and low coupling capacitance. A common APS topology is the LLC series-connected design, where a high voltage wire runs through multiple cores to provide isolated outputs. However, faults like short circuits or open circuits at one output can disrupt other output voltages. This paper examines a potential protection scheme for this configuration, highlighting its pros and cons. The analysis aims to provide a balanced view of how the proposed scheme can improve APS performance and reliability in high voltage SiC applications, while considering the associated trade-offs. © 2024 IEEE.

Secure system operations rely on reliable network structures. The loss of controllability may be the main reason to cause cascaded failures for complex network, e.g., Energy Internet (EI). However, the existing studies do not consider the network controllability to guide the system reconfiguration. To address this issue, the paper proposes a new structuring planning method for EI with consideration of controllability and economy. Firstly, the structure planning problem is modeled as a dynamic optimization problem with the tradeoff objectives of maximum social welfare and minimum driven nodes for long-term period. Then, a mixed maximum matching and deep deterministic policy gradient method is presented to obtain the approximate optimal planning solution with strong adaptability. Finally, simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2023 IEEE.

Ultracompact entangled photon sources are pivotal to miniaturized quantum photonic *** der Waals(vdW)nonlinear crystals promise efficient photon-pair generation and on-chip monolithic integration with nanophotonic ***,it remains challenging to generate maximally entangled Bell states of photon pairs with high purity,generation rate,and fidelity required for practical ***,we realize a polarization-entangled photon-pair source based on spontaneous parametric down conversion in an ultrathin rhombohedral tungsten disulfide(3R-WS2)*** vdW entangled photonic source exhibits a high photon-pair purity with a coincidenceto-accidental ratio of above 800,a generation rate of 31 Hz,and two maximally polarization-entangled Bell states with fidelities exceeding 0.93 and entanglement degree over *** results stem from scalable optical nonlinearity,enhanced second-order susceptibility by electronic transitions,and a well-defined symmetry-enabled selection rule inherent in *** polarization entangled photon source can be integrated with photonic structures for generating more complex entangled states,thus paving an avenue for advanced quantum photonic systems toward computation and metrology.

Medical image fusion is considered the best method for obtaining one image with rich details for efficient medical diagnosis and *** learning provides a high performance for several medical image analysis *** paper proposes a deep learning model for the medical image fusion *** model depends on Convolutional Neural Network(CNN).The basic idea of the proposed model is to extract features from both CT and MR ***,an additional process is executed on the extracted *** that,the fused feature map is reconstructed to obtain the resulting fused ***,the quality of the resulting fused image is enhanced by various enhancement techniques such as Histogram Matching(HM),Histogram Equalization(HE),fuzzy technique,fuzzy type,and Contrast Limited Histogram Equalization(CLAHE).The performance of the proposed fusion-based CNN model is measured by various metrics of the fusion and enhancement *** realistic datasets of different modalities and diseases are tested and ***,real datasets are tested in the simulation analysis.
