Message Queue Telemetry Transport (MQTT) is a popular communication protocol for IoT, in which Publishers and Subscribers communicate through a single broker. Therefore, a distributed broker is necessary to accommodate multiple Publishers and Subscribers at multiple locations. Previous studies have used a method in which multiple brokers are connected in a ring to share information. However, in this method, the processing delay time increases as the number of brokers and Hops increases. In this study, we propose a direct connection method between distributed brokers that reduces the processing delay time. We also use an Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the communication protocol used to connect brokers. The Software Fault detection and diagnosis approaches supports to find the fault vulnerable constituents in the software development in early stages. An effective diagnosis approach can support test administrators to locate defects and defect-vulnerable software modules. The Feature Extraction (FE) process is the applicable solution to solve high dimensionality and polynomial time complexity issue in the prediction of software defect. In this research, a new fault detection approach is proposed by utilizing the Stacked Auto Encoder (SAE) with Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Artificial Neural Network (ANN). In this approach, the ANN is utilized for the diagnosis process to distribute the data named the fault type. Now, the input generates the Deep Neural Network as well as fuzzy depiction process. the outcome of these approaches is then integrated by the dense connected layers. The proposed SAE based SVM-ANN model attains better results by utilizing evaluation metrics like Accuracy, Precision, F1-score, and Area Under Curve (AUC) values about 99.87%, 99.52%, 99.82% and 0.99 respectively which is comparatively higher than existing techniques like Unsupervised Learning, SVM, Generative Adversarial Neural Network. © 2023 IEEE.

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are widely used in diverse applications due to their cost-effectiveness and versatility. However, they face substantial difficulties because of their innate resource constraints and susceptibility to security attacks. A possible method to improve the security of WSNs is clustering-based intrusion detection and responding mechanisms. An in-depth analysis of the clustering-based intrusion detection and response method for WSNs is presented in this study. The suggested method efficiently uses data mining and machine learning techniques to identify unusual behaviour and probable intrusions. The system effectively analyses data inside clusters by grouping Sensor Nodes (SN) into clusters, allowing it to differentiate between legitimate patterns and insecure activity. The network may respond promptly to identified breaches and react to the responsive mechanism, which reduces their impact and protects network integrity. The proposed Mathematically Modified Gene Populated Spectral Clustering Based Intrusion Detection System and Responsive Mechanism (MMMMGPSC-IDS-RM) is compared with existing state-of-art techniques, and MMMMGPSC-IDS-RM outperforms with the highest detection rate of 96%. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper we observe a single-cell massive (multiple-input-multiple-output) MIMO system. Channel aging occurs due to the relative movements between UTs and (base station) BS antenna. To start the analysis, channel state information (CSI) has been acquired by applying minimum-mean-square-error (MMSE). In the next step, (autoregressive moving average) ARMA predictor has been applied to combat the problem caused by aged and deteriorated channel. Then, to check efficiency, we calculate achievable rates for ARMA channel predictor and perform rigorous performance analysis. We observe that ARMA predictor can be a good option to combat the adverse effects of aged channel in large scale MIMO systems. We provide several MATLAB simulations for ARMA predictor by varying number of antennas and several values of Doppler's shift, which gives us insight that ARMA predictor can be suitable for getting better bandwidth efficiency (BE) in case of aged CSI © 2023 IEEE.

The adaptation of the energy storage system (ESS) with high power and energy density remains a difficulty for electric vehicles (EVs), despite the increasing demand they are experiencing around the world. A lightweight, compact ESS is necessary to deliver the responsive performance and driving range that modern vehicles need. When planning for widespread use of EVs, it's important to give careful attention to the factors of ESS selection, sizing, and administration. One of the most promising future mobility alternatives is the hybrid electric vehicle (HEV), which offers improved fuel economy and lower pollution levels. As a result, one of the most pressing needs is for automakers to develop new technologies for vehicle design that might help lessen emissions and boost economy. The environmental impact of emissions from light-duty cars is growing in tandem with the annual increase in the number of such vehicles on the road. The usage of other modes of transportation, such as ships and planes, is on the rise, but road transportation will always be the most common. Electronic Control Units, or ECUs, have been increasingly commonplace in cars during the past few decades. Vehicle network multicore CPU scheduling is notoriously difficult. This study's findings consist of a straightforward power-sharing control approach for the HESS based on battery and UC, with the goal of extending the battery's useful life in a city environment. © 2023 IEEE.

It is important for autonomous multi-agent teams to coordinate actions so that collaborative goals can be achieved efficiently without conflicts. Practical issues in multi-agent, real-time systems are limited sensing and communication capabilities. A significant number of multi-agent algorithms rely on accurate state information for all agents in order to effectively coordinate. In this paper, we propose an approach called Reinforcement Learning with Epistemic Priors (MARL-EP). MARL-EP incorporates a shared mental model between agents by leveraging epistemic estimation to infer portions of the obser-vation space which are unobservable. We show that MARL-EP allows a very high level of coordination to be achieved with severely impaired sensing and zero communication between agents. © 2023 IEEE.

this paper evaluates diverse time collection algorithms for extracting quantitative facts from hyperspectral imagery. Mainly, it compares four statistical strategies (seasonal autoregressive incorporated transferring common (SARIMA), exponential smoothing (ETS), artificial neural network (ANN), and device getting to know algorithms (SVM)) to a few traditional strategies (ok-nearest buddies (KNN), linear regression (LR), and statistics-driven modeling (DOM)). Within the realm of cybersecurity, botnets represent an increasingly formidable threat, characterized by diverse types exhibiting distinct behavioral patterns and characteristics. This study addresses the imperative need for real-time botnet activity detection by introducing a multi-class labeling system tailored for real-world network traffic. Employing clustering algorithms and a semi-supervised learning framework, this system efficiently labels benign traffic and performs multi-class labeling for various botnet traffic categories. Hierarchical Density-based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise (HDBSCAN) is harnessed for clustering both synthetic and real-world datasets, significantly enhancing labeling coverage. The remaining traffic is designated as 'unknown' and subjected to identification through a semi-supervised learning approach. A comparative analysis underscores the superiority of HDBSCAN over Density-based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise (DBSCAN), successfully clustering an additional 11% of data. Remarkably, our system exhibits substantial advancements in data labeling when juxtaposed with prior research efforts. This research introduces an effective solution for botnet labeling in the context of network security, thereby enhancing the capacity for detecting and mitigating malicious botnet activities. © 2024 IEEE.

Implantable electrodes have raised great interest over the last years with the increasing incidence of neurodegenerative disorders. For brain implant devices, some key factors resulting in the formation of glial scars, such as mechanical mismatch and acute injury-induced inflammation, should be considered for material design. Therefore, in this study, a new biocompatible flexible electrode (e-SgG) with arbitrary shapes on a positive electrode was developed via electrogelation by applying a direct electrical voltage on a silk fibroin/gelatin/reduced graphene oxide composite hydrogel. The implantable flexible e-SgG-2 film with 1.23% rGO content showed high Young's modulus (11-150 MPa), which was sufficient for penetration under dried conditions but subsequently became a biomimetic brain tissue with low Young's modulus (50-3200 kPa) after insertion in the brain. At the same time, an anti-inflammatory drug (DEX) incorporated into the e-SgG-2 film can be electrically stimulated to exhibit two-stage release to overcome tissue inflammation during cyclic voltammetry via degradation by applying an AC field. The results of cell response to the SF/gelatin/rGO/DEX composite film showed that the released DEX could interrupt astrocyte growth to reduce the inflammatory response but showed non-toxicity toward neurons, which demonstrated a great potential for the application of the biocompatible and degradable e-SgG-D electrodes in the improvement of nerve tissue repair. © 2024 The Royal Society of Chemistry
