The contribution of energy efficiency covers a wide range of interests. Energy efficiency affects climate change mitigation goals, energy saving, health benefits, and productivity. The quick expansion of data traffic and connection has caused the telecommunications industry's energy usage to increase significantly. It operated with equipment that is already energy efficient and it will be try to explain the additional energy saving. It will be shows a methodology that uses several parameters that can be varied in order to achieve the desired high-power transmitter efficiency. The result of the work is the saving of energy and resources through the use of tools that keep components of telecommunication systems in the optimal mode of operation using intelligent application. This application uses an intelligent algorithm that allows us to save approximately 20MW per year. © 2024 IEEE.

We developed high-performance flexible oxide thin-film transistors(TFTs)using SnO_(2) semiconductor and high-k ZrO_(2) dielectric,both formed through combustion-assisted sol-gel *** method involves the exothermic reaction of fuels and oxidizers to produce high-quality oxide films without extensive external *** combustion ZrO_(2) films were revealed to have an amorphous structure with a higher proportion of oxygen corresponding to the oxide network,which contributes to the low leakage current and frequency-independent dielectric *** ZrO_(2)/SnO_(2) TFTs fabricated on flexible substrates using combustion synthesis exhibited excellent electrical characteristics,including a field-effectmobility of 26.16 cm^(2)/Vs,a subthreshold swing of 0.125 V/dec,and an on/off current ratio of 1.13×10^(6) at a low operating voltage of 3 ***,we demonstrated flexible ZrO_(2)/SnO_(2) TFTs with robust mechanical stability,capable of withstanding 5000 cycles of bending tests at a bending radius of 2.5 mm,achieved by scaling down the device dimensions.

In this paper, frequency-modulated continuous-wave (FMCW) radar system using dielectric resonator antenna (DRA), which has two beams with orthogonal linear polarization to each other, is introduced to function as a monopulse radar. The DRA operates at 24.3 GHz with a 16.8% bandwidth and provides over 40 dB isolation between V-pol and H-pol ports. Simulations demonstrate effective target detection and advanced directional information extraction, similar to monopulse radar, using a signal processing technique to address overlapping beam regions. © 2024 IEEE.

An adaptive data hiding for AMBTC compressed images with recoverability using bound shifting technique

This paper proposes an efficient data hiding method for absolute moment block truncation coding (AMBTC) images with the recoverability of compressed code. The existing methods sacrifice some embedding capacity and image quality for recovering the AMBTC compressed code. To remedy these problems, this paper divides the quantized differences into four intervals to embed data bits with different lengths. Therefore, the embedding capacity is improved. Moreover, our method uses the bound shifting technique (BST) to provide a significant improvement in image quality. The experimental results show that the payload of our method increases by 19.14% and the image quality is also enhanced by 8.02% compared with prior works for the test Lena image. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.

This paper introduces an innovative optimal control approach to achieve output tracking while incorporating H2-performance specifications in a specific class of nonlinear dynamics modeled by the Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model (TSFM). The primary innovation lies in extending partial eigenstructure assignment to TSFM-based nonlinear systems within the framework of sliding mode control (SMC). We propose a two-step methodology for designing optimal sliding surface gains. Initially, optimal state feedback gains are computed for each rule consequence containing a linear subsystem, adhering to predetermined eigenvalues and satisfying H2-performance criteria. Subsequently, using a convex combination, the overall state feedback gain is calculated and utilized to design sliding matrix gains. The sliding matrix gains are then determined by strategically combining previously calculated state-feedback gains in a convex optimization problem. We reframe the output tracking strategy as a stabilization problem using a virtual control input and reformulate the optimization task concerning tracking state errors. This process yields state feedback gains, sliding gains, and the formulation of the virtual control input. The effectiveness of our approach is verified through comprehensive simulations, emphasizing its capability in addressing output tracking challenges within nonlinear systems. © 2013 IEEE.

A Q-enhanced CMOS tunable bandpass filter (BPF) with ultra-narrow bandwidth and ultralow dc power consumption for radio frequency identification (RFID) devices is proposed using 55-nm bulk CMOS technology in this article. The proposed filter is constructed by a capacitively coupled LC resonator (LCC), which consists of a 16-nH on-chip integrated inductor, fixed capacitors, and tunable varactors. nMOS cross-coupled transistors are used to compensate for the loss of the resonator and improve the loaded Q of the resonator. To achieve low power consumption, an inductor with an ultralarge value is exploited to reduce the loss of the resonator. Besides, an improved dual varactor inverse (DVI) and degenerated resistors at the source of the cross-coupled transistors with linearity and resistance adjusting, respectively, are utilized to optimize the linearity under center frequency tuning. Besides, the active circuits, the fixed capacitance, and varactors are placed inside the inductor to improve the integration. With all the proposed techniques, the presented BPF achieves a 935-953-MHz center frequency tuning range with a constant narrow bandwidth of 180 kHz, a low power consumption of 85-μW , and a core area of 0.43\times0.43 mm2, demonstrating a high-performance tunable on-chip filter using bulk CMOS technology for low-power and narrowband Internet of Things (NBIoT) applications. © 1963-2012 IEEE.

PAC-MC: An Efficient Password-Based Access Control Framework for Time Sequence Aware Media Cloud

Cloud storage makes it easier for users to access and share data remotely, but it often requires integration with cryptographic technologies to address consumer-oriented applications, such as fine-grained data access, secure data sharing and retrieval. This paper focuses on the fine-grained access problem of media applications based on time sequence, that is, certain critical media applications based on time sequences should ideally be accessible only to authorized clients. The traditional keyword-based searchable encryption (SE) allows effective search and access over encrypted data while preserving data privacy, but most existing solutions do not support temporal access control (i.e., a mechanism that grants access permissions to users within a specified time range). In this paper, we propose PAC-MC, an efficient password-based access control framework for media cloud relying on content control with the time sequence attribute. PAC-MC not only supports multi-keyword search using any monotonic boolean formulas but also allows media owners to control content-encryption keys for different time periods with an updatable password. Furthermore, it supports the self-retrieval of content-encryption keys. In addition, PAC-MC is provably secure under the standard model. Finally, the detailed performance evaluation results and experimental comparisons indicate that PAC-MC is very efficient and outperforms the previous solutions in terms of computation, communication, and storage costs. © 2025 IEEE.

Tool downtime prediction requires efficient monitoring because it helps maximize industrial operation quality while maintaining uninterrupted plant operations. The analysis utilizes machine learning algorithms with Decision Trees to identify machine downtime events through operational measurements which include hydraulic pressure and coolant temperature and spindle speed and vibration levels. Data normalization alongside Forward Selection feature selection methods were used on a balanced dataset to boost model performance for prediction purposes. The Decision Tree model functioned to differentiate machine defects into two discrete categories—failure and no failure—thus proving its competence in such predictive classification activities. The study conducted a comparative evaluation between Decision Trees and Random Forest along with other algorithms which included SVM and Logistic Regression and Adaboost in addition to CatBoost and XGBoost and Naive Bayes and KNN using KD-Tree and Ball-Tree variations. The experimental findings show that Decision Trees provide clear predictions coupled with high precision and fair runtimes to support predictive maintenance implementations. The research delivers fundamental findings that help improve downtime prediction methods to boost operational effectiveness. © 2025 IEEE.

Modern optical technologies encompass classical light phenomena and non-linear effects, crucial for biomedical imaging and therapies. Despite substantial interest and many experimental studies, non-linear optical effects in inhomogeneous scattering media require extensive computer modeling to understand light-material interactions. This report focuses on Monte Carlo simulations of Raman scattering in turbid media, such as biological tissues, essential for clinical applications. We developed a novel, open-source, power-efficient Monte Carlo algorithm optimized for Apple s M-series chips. By incorporating single-photon tracking, the algorithm accurately models time-resolved light-Tissue interactions. Validated against experiments, it matches traditional methods accuracy while offering superior efficiency, advancing Raman functional imaging. © 2025 SPIE.
