Secret key generation(SKG)is an emerging technology to secure wireless communication from ***,the SKG at the physical layer is an alternate solution over traditional cryptographic methods due to wireless channels’***,the physical layer secret key generation(PHY-SKG)depends on two fundamental parameters,i.e.,coherence time and power *** coherence time for PHY-SKG is not applicable to secure wireless *** is because coherence time is for a certain period of ***,legitimate users generate the secret keys(SKs)with a shorter key length in ***,an attacker can quickly get information about the ***,the attacker can easily get valuable information from authentic ***,we considered the scheme of power allocation to enhance the secret key generation rate(SKGR)between legitimate ***,we propose an alternative method,i.e.,a power allocation,to improve the *** results show 72%higher SKGR in bits/sec by increasing power *** addition,the power transmission is based on two important parameters,i.e.,epsilon and power loss factor,as given in power transmission *** found out that a higher value of epsilon impacts power transmission and subsequently impacts the *** SKGR is approximately 40.7%greater at 250 from 50 mW at epsilon=*** value of SKGR is reduced to 18.5%at 250 mW when epsilonis ***,the transmission power is also measured against the different power loss factor values,i.e.,3.5,3,and 2.5,respectively,at epsilon=***,it is concluded that the value of epsilon and power loss factor impacts power transmission and,consequently,impacts the SKGR.

In this paper, we present a novel visual servoing (VS) approach based on latent Denoising Diffusion Probabilistic Models (DDPMs), that explores the application of generative models for vision-based navigation of UAVs (Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles). Opposite to classical VS methods, the proposed approach allows reaching the desired target view, even when the target is initially not visible. This is possible thanks to the learning of a latent representation that the DDPM uses for planning and a dataset of trajectories encompassing target-invisible initial views. A compact representation is learned from raw images using a Cross-Modal Variational Autoencoder. Given the current image, the DDPM generates trajectories in the latent space driving the robotic platform to the desired visual target. The approach has been validated in simulation using two generic multi-rotor UAVs (a quadrotor and a hexarotor). The results show that we can successfully reach the visual target, even if not visible in the initial view. A video summary with simulations can be found in: https://***/2Hb3nkkcszE.

The asymptotic implausibility problem is introduced from the perspective of an adversary that seeks to drive the belief of a recursive Bayesian estimator away from a particular set of parameter values. It is assumed that the adversary controls all sensors informing the estimator, and can transmit false measurements stochastically according to a fixed distribution of its choice. First, we outline a method for verifying whether a given distribution solves the problem. We then consider the class of spoofing attacks, and show that the asymptotic implausibility problem has a solution if and only if it can be solved by a spoofing attack. Attention is restricted to finite parameter and observation spaces.

Pneumonia is a prevalent respiratory infection with potentially life-threatening consequences. In this research, we propose a novel deep learning approach to enhance pneumonia detection using the Vision Transformer (ViT) architecture with a dynamic mapping re-attention mechanism. The re-attention mechanism in the ViT architecture facilitates the flow of information between patches of the input image, enabling contextual understanding through self-attention. This mechanism captures long-range dependencies and enhances the ViT's ability to effectively recognize and interpret images. The dynamic mapping attention mechanism allows the model to dynamically assign attention weights to different regions of the input data based on their relevance to pneumonia detection. By adaptively adjusting the attention weights, the model can capture both local details and global dependencies, enabling more accurate diagnosis. The ViT utilizes the dynamic mapping re-attention mechanism with attention dropout. Here the performance of this ViT compared to the conventional ViT and the ViT incorporating the re-attention mechanism. This comparative analysis offers valuable insights into the effectiveness of the proposed dynamic mapping re-attention mechanism. Additionally, it highlights the added benefits of attention dropout in enhancing the overall performance of the model.

This work presents the design, construction, and validation of a chamber for magnetic field attenuation. Needs of magnetic background controlling during experiments focused on behavior of biological samples exposed to various levels of the low frequency time-varying magnetic field set the motivation for this work. The solution is proposed with regard to the correct cultivation conditions of microbiological samples. The chosen methodology is established on the means of numerical modeling and simulations, as well as 3D printing techniques. The design process incorporates computer-aided design (CAD) software for the chamber proposal, subsequent printing via a 3D printer, followed by the construction of an attenuating chamber using mu-metal foil. The validation process involves measurements of magnetic flux density within the chamber, and comparison thereof with numerical simulations performed via CST Design Studio. All the solution steps resulted in a valid and effective magnetic field attenuation chamber, suitable for use in laboratory conditions.

This study introduces a specialised hardware plat-form designed for indoor navigation, featuring a quadrotor equipped with either a NVIDIA Jetson Nano or a Z-turn Zynq onboard computer. The onboard computer communicates via ROS2 with the flight controller, the Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), Ultra-WideBand (UWB) localisation system, stereo camera, Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR), and ultrasonic sensors. The focus is on creating a low-cost modular Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) system adaptable to various indoor navigation applications. The modular design encompasses different onboard computer platforms and sensor configurations, allowing for easy adaptation to research experiment setups. The objective is to facilitate the transition from simulated and simplified laboratory experiments to deploying aerial robots in challenging real-world conditions. The paper explores the hardware architecture and Robot Operating System 2 (ROS2)-based communication system of the UAV and provides a weight analysis and power estimation.

This paper mainly discusses two kinds of coupled reaction-diffusion neural networks (CRNN) under topology attacks, that is, the cases with multistate couplings and with multiple spatial-diffusion couplings. On one hand, by adopting state feedback control scheme, the problem of the lag synchronization for the multistate coupled CRNN is addressed. Moreover, the influences of external disturbances for the lag synchronization of the CRNN with multistate couplings are also taken into consideration. On the other hand, several lag and lag H∞ synchronization conditions for CRNN with multiple spatial-diffusion couplings are derived under the help of the Kronecker product and the state feedback control method. Finally, two numerical examples are provided to verify the correctness of the derived criteria. © 2014 IEEE.

Thermocline heat storage tanks, known for their high net energy and exergy efficiency, are becoming a mainstream thermal energy storage solution. However, flow direction switching caused by real-time variations in charging/discharging mass flow creates discontinuities in conventional temperature stratification models. To address this, this study employs continuous smooth functions to approximate the 0-1 variables characterizing working fluid flow direction, resulting in a one-dimensional continuous dynamic stratified temperature model along the tank height. Building on this model, we propose an optimal sensor placement strategy based on sensitivity matrices. The system observability index is redefined using information derived from sensitivity matrices, with the minimum sensor count and optimal positions determined by each location's contribution to system observability. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed model accurately captures vertical temperature stratification across various operating scenarios when an appropriate smoothing parameter μ is selected. Among all observable sensor combinations with equal sensor numbers, this strategy achieves the smallest mean and variance of RMSE in moving horizon estimation (MHE) observation errors, confirming its superior system observability performance. © 2025 Chinese Society for electrical engineering. Navigating autonomous vehicles efficiently across unstructured and off-road terrains remains a formidable challenge, often requiring intricate mapping or multi-step pipelines. However, these conventional approaches struggle to adapt to dynamic environments. This paper presents TerrainSense, an end-to-end framework that overcomes these limitations. By utilizing a transformers, TerrainSense detects lane semantics and topology from camera images, enabling mapless path planning without the reliance on highly detailed maps. The efficacy of TerrainSense was rigorously assessed on six diverse datasets, evaluating its efficacy in detection, segmentation, and path prediction using various metrics. Notably, it outperforms the other state-of-the-art methods by 9.32% in precisely predicting the path with 18.28% faster inference time.

One-Sided Lipschitz (OSL) fractional order modeling is a top choice for solving the stabilization issue of nonlinear systems. Despite numerous studies on the subject, there remains a gap in understanding when it comes to fractional calculus. By providing a stabilizing strategy for a certain type of OSL fractional order nonlinear systems, this study fills the gap. A numerical example demonstrating the correctness of the suggested approach and demonstrating its efficacy for the tested class.
