As malicious operations become gradually very complex and involve advanced attack campaigns even on embedded systems and IoT, there is an increasing need for detecting malicious behavior on a system as it dynamically as it happens. In this paper, a Deep Learning based malicious behavior dynamic, run-time detection methodology is proposed that rely on the collection of Linux OS execution flow metrics/features like CPU, disk and memory usage and their association with ATT&CK MITRE knowledge base exploits. Using that approach, we can emulate the attack sequence of complex malicious activity and use the collected features to train Deep Learning models in order to classify execution operations at run-time as malicious or not. In the paper, we provide a feasibility study of the proposed solution based on the ATT&CK MITRE exploit attack graph emulation of the SysJoker backdoor malware and we train several Deep Learning models acting as classifiers. The provided results showed that in SysJoker use-case study of the proposed approach we managed to obtain more than 99% accuracy and less that 0.5% False Positive and False Negative Rates. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2023.

Unlike the fifth generation (5G), which is well recognized for network cloudification with micro-service-oriented design, the sixth generation (6G) of networks is directly tied to intelligent network orchestration and management. The Attacks Detection in 6G (AD6Gs) wireless networks created by this research uses a Machine Learning (ML) algorithm. The pre-processing stage of the ML-AD6Gs process is the initial step. The second stage involves the feature selection approach. Correlation Feature Selection algorithm (CFS) is used to implement the suggested hybrid strategy. It selects the best subset feature and reduces dimensionality for each independent analyses of the dataset CICDDOS2019. The voting average method is used as an aggregation step, and two classifiers - Random Forest (RF) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) - are modified to be used as ML Algorithms. The proposed method shown an outperformed the existing classification method. The accuracy was 99.9%% for CICDDOS2019 dataset with a false alarm rate of 0.00102 © 2023 IEEE.

Inverted perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have attracted increasing attention in recent years owing to their low-temperature fabrication proces ***,they suffer from a limited number of electron transport materials available with[6,6]-phenyl C61 butyric acid methyl ester(PCBM)to be the most widely studied based on its appropriate energy levels and high electron *** low relative permittivity and aggregation tendency upon illumination of PCBM,however,compromises the solar cell efficiency whereas its modest hydrophobicity negatively impacts on the device *** electron transport materials with desired properties and appropriate degree of hydrophobicity are thus desirable for further developments in inverted ***,we synthesize a triethyleneglycol C60 mono-adduct derivative(termed as EPF03)and test it as a novel electron transport material to replace PCBM in inverted PSCs based on a quadruple cation(RbCsMAFA)*** also compare this derivative with two novel fullerenes decorated with two(EPF01)or one dodecyl(EPF02)long side *** latter two fail to perform efficiently in inverted PSCs whereas the former enabled a power conversion efficiency of 18.43%,which represents a 9%improvement compared to the reference device using PCBM(17.21%).The enhanced performance mainly stems from improved electron extraction and reduced recombination enabled by the insertion of the large relative permittivity amongst other properties of ***,our results indicate that triethylene glycol side chains can also passivate perovskite trap states,suppress ion migration and enhance photostability and long-term stability of EPF03 based perovskite solar cells.

This paper presents some aspects of the numerical modeling performed in order to study the process of induction heating applied to a workpiece, using Flux 2D and FEMM (Finite Element Method Magnetics), two software tools specifically designed for electromagnetic simulations. The paper presents a significant technical finding regarding the optimal shape of the surface hardening head. Various shapes of the inductor were analyzed, focusing on solving the eddy current problem using the commercial program FEMM. The induction heating process was numerically simulated using the FLUX 2D program for a semi-finished punch made of OLC 45 steel, specifically for hot surface heat treatment. The simulations were conducted utilizing the program's simulation capabilities. © 2023 IEEE.

Upper extremity exoskeletons can provide support to workers for carrying tasks while reducing workers' muscle fatigue and the prevalence of work-related musculoskeletal disorders in workers' elbows. Nevertheless, current upper-limb exoskeletons suffer from issues like excessive weight, inconvenient wearability, high rigidity, poor human-machine interaction, and limited modularity. To address these issues, this study introduces a design for a lightweight, powered-assistive, and modular upper-limb exoskeleton. The research developed a prototype specifically tailored for the elbow joint. The experiment encompassed three control modes (Constant torque, Gravity compensation, and Impedance control) to assess the efficacy of the exoskeleton. Subjects engaged in 'pick-hold-drop' tasks with varying loads (4kg, 3kg, 2kg), simulating real load-bearing scenarios, performed five times. The experimental results indicate that the proposed design provided effective assistance to the subjects. During the 'hold' phase, the EMG Maximum Voluntary Contraction (MVC) values of the subjects' biceps muscles notably decreased, averaging a reduction of 9.29%. © 2023 IEEE.

This study introduces a direct power control (DPC) strategy for voltage-source converters (VSCs) connected to the grid, specifically when the network voltage is unbalanced. The DPC strategy is compared to a voltage-oriented control (VOC)-based PI controller strategy. The proposed method comprises a positive and negative sequence controller, which adjusts the output active and reactive power and removes the ripple of currents, respectively. The objective of the control is to eliminate negative current sequence components by regulating the instantaneous power flow while also reducing output current harmonics and power ripples. The mathematical model of the three-phase AC/DC VSC under unbalanced working principles and control strategies is discussed in-depth. A simulation is conducted using the MATLAB/Simulink platform to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2024 IEEE.

In this work,we consider the performance analysis of state dependent priority traffic and scheduling in device to device(D2D)heterogeneous *** are two priority transmission types of data in wireless communication,such as video or telephone,which always meet the requirements of high priority(HP)data transmission *** there is a large amount of low priority(LP)data,there will be a large amount of LP data that cannot be *** situation will cause excessive delay of LP data and packet dropping *** order to solve this problem,the data transmission process of high priority queue and low priority queue is *** the priority jump strategy to the priority queuing model,the queuing process with two priority data is modeled as a two-dimensionalMarkov chain.A state dependent priority jump queuing strategy is proposed,which can improve the discarding performance of low priority *** quasi birth and death process method(QBD)and fixed point iterationmethod are used to solve the causality,and the steady-state probability distribution is further ***,performance parameters such as average queue length,average throughput,average delay and packet dropping probability for both high and low priority data can be *** simulation results verify the correctness of the theoretical ***,the proposed priority jump queuing strategy can significantly improve the drop performance of low-priority data.

3D reconstruction based on single view aims to reconstruct the entire 3D shape of an object from one *** existing methods reconstruct the mesh surface of complex objects,the surface details are difficult to predict and the reconstruction visual effect is poor because the mesh representation is not easily integrated into the deep learning framework;the 3D topology is easily limited by predefined templates and inflexible,and unnecessary mesh self-intersections and connections will be generated when reconstructing complex topology,thus destroying the surface details;the training of the reconstruction network is limited by the large amount of information attached to the mesh vertices,and the training time of the reconstructed network is too *** this paper,we propose a method for fast mesh reconstruction from single view based on Graph Convolutional Network(GCN)and topology *** use GCN to ensure the generation of high-quality mesh surfaces and use topology modification to improve the flexibility of the ***,a feature fusion method is proposed to make full use of the features of each stage of the image *** use 3D open dataset ShapeNet to train our network and add a new weight parameter to speed up the training *** experiments demonstrate that our method can not only reconstruct object meshes on complex topological surfaces,but also has better qualitative and quantitative results.

In this paper, a waveguide-based dielectric sensing technique for the measurement of the relative permittivity of planar low-loss materials is presented. The material under test (MUT), assumed to be thicker than one half of wavelength (λg/2), is sandwiched between the waveguide's aperture and a matched load. The reflected voltage magnitude is measured at the waveguide's input port by relying on a custom-built reflectometer. The measured reflected voltage values are then used to calculate the dielectric constant of the MUT over the waveguide's operating frequency range. The proposed method offers a major advantage of not requiring pre-calibration. This technique is tested on multiple material samples where accurate estimates of their respective dielectric constant values are obtained. © 2022 IEEE.

In this study, we fabricated deep-ultraviolet light-emitting diodes (DUV-LEDs) with Al2O3 films of 0-, 130-, and 255-nm via atomic layer deposition (ALD). In addition, the effects of the passivation layers on the DUV-LEDs were systematically investigated. The current-voltage characteristics of these samples revealed the passivating effect of the Al2O3 ALD films on the DUV-LEDs. By analyzing the external quantum efficiency (EQE) at room temperature using the ABC + f,(n) model, the differences in the physical mechanisms of the Al2O3 ALD film on DUV-LEDs were determined. The measurements of the electroluminescence (EL) and far-field radiation patterns (EQE, light output power (LOP), and radiation patterns) showed that ALD can enhance the performance of DUV-LEDs, particularly DUV-LEDs with a 130-nm Al2O3 ALD passivation layer. Moreover, the aging test and failure ratio of these DUV-LEDs under humidity exposure (85 °C/85% RH) indicated the specific effect of these Al2O3 ALD films on the reliability of DUV-LEDs. © 1963-2012 IEEE.
