Aiming at the problems of operation economy and stability of power systems with a high proportion of renewable energy, this paper proposes a two-layer optimal scheduling model based on internal trading of the VPP (Virtual power plant) energy layer. Firstly, the users participating in the smart contract and the VPP within the region are regarded as different interest subjects. And the maximum opportunity benefit of users is taken as the internal optimization goal. Secondly, taking the overall benefit maximization of the VPP as the overall optimization objective,. Thus, a two-layer optimal scheduling model including energy storage is established, and the multi-objective particle swarm optimization algorithm was applied to solve the problem. The local consumption of new energy is taken as the criterion, and the price of some local consumption energy is determined by the bidding mechanism of producers and sellers. Finally, the thermal power units are used as auxiliary units. In the two scenarios with or without energy storage, comparative tests are made on the internal trading of the energy layer of VPPs. The optimal scheduling results show that the internal trading of the energy layer of VPP contributes to the local consumption of new energy and improves the overall internal income level of VPP. © 2023 IEEE.

Computational Geometry and picture-based Modeling are methods of reading and visualizing gadgets in three-dimensional space. These techniques are used to generate correct 3-D models of gadgets by taking pictures a huge number of photographs of the object from one-of-a-kind angles and then using algorithms and software programs to create a three-D version. Computational Geometry techniques permit the automated extraction of spatial features, which includes edges and vertices from photos, at the same time as photograph-based Modeling makes use of identical techniques to provide a 3-D model from a set of 2D pics. The resulting 3D version faithfully reproduces the details of the object's shape. It might provide an expansion of beneficial records inclusive of the distance between factors, floor area, volume, and relative positioning of objects. Furthermore, these strategies can be used to exactly overlay three-D fashions on the second pix, taking into consideration higher interpretation and evaluation of physical objects. © 2024 IEEE.

Reinforcement Fuzzy Q-Learning Incorporated with Genetic Kinematics Analysis for Self-organizing Holonomic Motion Control of Six-Link Stewart Platforms

This paper contributes to the development of reinforcement fuzzy Q-learning incorporated with genetic kinematics analysis for self-organizing holonomic motion control of six-link Stewart platforms. The fuzzy theory is integrated with the Q-learning algorithm to develop a hybrid reinforcement learning strategy. Both the actions and the Q-functions in the classical Q-learning algorithm are inferred by means of fuzzy rules. The proposed hybrid reinforcement learning is then applied to self-organizing holonomic motion control of parallel Stewart platforms for industrial applications. After the kinematics analysis using a geometrical approach and genetic algorithm (GA)-based Newton–Raphson formulation, this study develops a practical control scheme that combines fuzzy Q-learning and proportional–integral–differential (PID) control scheme, called FQPID. In the proposed FQPID holonomic motion control method, the PID control gains are online-tuned via the fuzzy Q-learning computation process. An experimental Stewart platform consisting of six servo motors, adjustable links, and two platforms is constructed to illustrate the effectiveness of the presented methods. The experimental results are compared with some existing control methods using the same evaluation criterion. Through the experimental results and comparative works, the superiority of the proposed FQPID control scheme is presented and discussed. © 2023, The Author(s) under exclusive licence to Taiwan Fuzzy Systems Association.

Magnetic concrete (MC) containing cement and magnetic particles is gaining increasing attention. Current research on improving MC permeability mainly focuses on adopting high-performance materials and adjusting magnetic particle sizes and proportions. These methods are effective but often result in increased costs. Enhancing magnetic materials’ anisotropy can improve permeability without adding additional cost. However, existing research has been relatively insufficient in exploring this issue. This paper proposes to use pulsed electromagnetic fields to improve the anisotropy of MC, thereby increasing the permeability. The results indicate that pulses can enhance the permeability (µr) of magnetic cores made of particle material by 8.12 % to 24.58 %, depending on the particle size, and increase the permeability of magnetic cores made of MC by 2.79 % without increasing costs. © 2024 IEEE.

Unsupervised function getting to know for image segmentation is a method of utilizing machine learning algorithms to identify the features of an image that can be maximum appropriate for segmentation responsibilities without requiring any previously classified statistics. By using the usage of clustering algorithms together with k-way or Self-Organizing Maps, the set of rules is capable of extracting specific capabilities from the picture and grouping patterns or objects into separate clusters. Those clusters can then be used to identify the specific additives within the picture and reap a segmentation result. This approach has been mainly useful for segmenting herbal pix, where the capabilities of the gadgets aren't without problems manually described because of the complex and varied nature of the records. Furthermore, it's been proven to achieve advanced accuracy in comparison to standard rule-based segmentation strategies. © 2024 IEEE.

This study presents a comprehensive analysis of the structural and optical properties of an InGaN-based red micro-LED with a high density of V-shaped pits, offering insights for enhancing emission efficiency. The presence of V-shaped pits is considered advantageous in reducing non-radiative recombination. Furthermore, to systematically investigate the properties of localized states, we conducted temperature-dependent photoluminescence (PL). The results of PL measurements indicate that deep localization in the red double quantum wells can limit carrier escape and improve radiation efficiency. Through a detailed analysis of these results, we extensively investigated the direct impact of epitaxial growth on the efficiency of InGaN red micro-LEDs, thereby laying the foundation for improving efficiency in InGaN-based red micro-LEDs. © 2023, The Author(s).

A novel score function based on the Poincaré metric is proposed and applied to a decision-making problem. Decision-making on Fuzzy Sets (FSs) has been considered due to the flexibility of the data, and it is applied to the decision-making. However, decisions with FSs are sometimes nondecisive even for different membership degrees. Hence, Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (IFSs) data is applied to design a score function for the decision-making with the Poincaré metric. This function is supported by the profound information of IFSs;IFSs include hesitation degree together with membership and non-membership degree. Hence, IFS membership and non-membership degree are expressed as two-dimensional vectors satisfying the Poincaré metric for simplification. At the same time, the proposed approach addresses the hesitation information in the IFS data. Next, a score function is proposed, constructed and provided. The proposed score function has a strict monotonic property and addresses the preference without resorting to the accuracy function. The strict monotonic property guarantees the preference of all attributes. Additionally, the existing problem of score function design in IFSs is addressed: they return zero scores even with different meanings for the same membership and non-membership degree. The advantages of the proposed score function over existing ones are demonstrated through illustrative examples. From the calculation results, the proposed decision score function discriminates between all candidates. Hence, the proposed research provides a solid foundation for the hesitation analysis on the decision-making problem. © 2024 The Authors.

This paper studies event-triggered control for disturbed nonlinear systems. A new dual-stage Lyapunov-based event-triggering condition is proposed to cope with the time-varying transmission *** the first stage, the ratio of Lyapunov function values at the last two triggering instants is *** based on the ratio, the corresponding threshold function is selected from two candidate forms. It is proved that the designed event-triggered control system is input-to-state practically stable with respect to the measurement errors and disturbances. Moreover, Zeno behavior is excluded successfully by calculating the lower bound of the minimum inter-event times. Finally, a simulation example is provided to show the feasibility and the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Modern diagnostic systems for asynchronous motors are widely used in the power industry. The enticing properties of memristors have been exploited for the design of novel circuits with great prospects, owing to the visible challenges posed by CMOS technology. Similarly, research efforts in the field of RF engineering over the last few years have focused on replacing MEMS with memristive switches. These switches have been recently investigated, fabricated, and characterized, demonstrating promising operational characteristics under high-frequency stimuli. In this work, a widely employed memristor model has been used to accurately fit the physical characteristics of the devices under investigation, including geometry and material composition. Subsequently, three common circuit topologies are adopted, studied, and simulated to extract the S-Parameters of the memristor-based switches matched to 50Ω load terminations. Our findings ensure sufficient functionality of the examined memristor-based switches up to FMAX=50GHz and suggest promising perspectives, slightly exceeding the projected results in previous studies found in the literature. Finally, a method for further enhancing the proposed circuit, in terms of increasing the power handling capability of the designed switches, is also proposed. © 2023 IEEE.
