The Cube Satellite (CubeSat) power availability depends firstly on solar panel power generation and secondly on battery storage capacity. In a CubeSat mission, the solar panels must fit on the outside walls of a 10cm 3 volume. Hence, a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technique is recommended for maximum usage of the available solar panel area to attain maximum solar power generation. A summary of (MPPT) techniques comparisons is discussed in this paper. An application of the perturb and observe (PO) MPPT technique is demonstrated using a DC-DC boost converter. When maximum point tracking is not applied to control the switching duty cycle of the pulse width modulator, the output current and voltage ripple erratically between minimum and maximum levels. However, when the MPPT technique is applied both the output current, and voltage settle at fixed levels.

Battery systems are typically equipped with state of charge (SoC) estimation algorithms. Sensor measurements used to estimate SoC are susceptible to false data injection attacks (FDIAs) that aim to disturb state estimation and, consequently, damage the system. In this paper, SoC estimation methods are re-purposed to detect FDIAs targeting the current and voltage sensors of a battery stack using a combination of an improved input noise aware unscented Kalman filter (INAUKF) and a cumulative sum detector. The root mean squared error of the states estimated by the INAUKF was at least 85% lower than the traditional unscented Kalman filter for all noise levels tested. The proposed method was able to detect FDIA in the current and voltage sensors of a series-connected battery stack in 99.55% of the simulations.

For many years, there were many different ways to arrange a vehicle's information using just the license plate. The number on a vehicle's license plate is the primary symbol used to identify it. The industries used to reciprocate the number plates in order to further uphold their basic standards. Anonymization through encryption is the preferred privacy setting for a license plate. We will have access to all the services required for faultless data maintenance through the Vehicle Management system. The entire system depends on the data, which is technologically encrypted and decrypted. However, data stored on a chip will be more secure than image recognition. It reduces the likelihood of mistakes and misunderstandings of the required information. Vehicle-related data is stored in a decentralized system. The suggested system either retrieves data from the smart number plate or uses an image processing technique to determine the license plate number through edge detection. The required data can be seen with this number. In order to ensure security, these data are encrypted using the SHA-256 algorithm and stored in a decentralized system using the Hyperledger Sawtooth framework, which also employs the PoET and BFT algorithms.

We propose a method to realize microwave-activated cz gates between two remote spin qubits in quantum dots using a charge-sensitive superconducting coupler. The qubits are longitudinally coupled to the coupler, such that the transition frequency of the coupler depends on the logical qubit states; a capacitive network model using first-quantized charge operators is developed to illustrate this. Driving the coupler transition then implements a conditional phase shift on the qubits. Two pulsing schemes are investigated: a rapid, off-resonant pulse with constant amplitude, and a pulse with envelope engineering that incorporates dynamical decoupling to mitigate charge noise. We develop non-Markovian time-domain simulations to accurately model gate performance in the presence of 1/fβ charge noise. Simulation results indicate that a cz gate fidelity exceeding 90% is possible with realistic parameters and noise models.
