This paper presents the resistance mitigation techniques for comparator design. Resistance plays an important role to semiconductor field. If resistance value higher than the design specification value, this might cause the electronic device burning and destroy. This project implements the techniques to mitigate resistance for the comparator design layout which are using multiple metal layers for routing, routing track improvement, increase metal width, increase number of vias and using higher metal layer for routing by using Cadence Virtuoso tools in 45 nanometer process technology. Based on the result, the total percentage for resistance mitigation for using multiple metal layers for routing is 73.66%, routing track improvement is 67.67%, increase metal width is 51.74%, increase number of vias is 50% and using higher metal layer for routing is 18.79%. © 2023 IEEE.

In recent years, Digital Twin (DT) has gained significant interestfrom academia and industry due to the advanced in information technology,communication systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud Computing (CC),and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). The main concept of the DT isto provide a comprehensive tangible, and operational explanation of anyelement, asset, or system. However, it is an extremely dynamic taxonomydeveloping in complexity during the life cycle that produces a massive amountof engendered data and information. Likewise, with the development of AI,digital twins can be redefined and could be a crucial approach to aid theInternet of Things (IoT)-based DT applications for transferring the data andvalue onto the Internet with better decision-making. Therefore, this paperintroduces an efficient DT-based fault diagnosis model based on machinelearning (ML) tools. In this framework, the DT model of the machine isconstructed by creating the simulation model. In the proposed framework,the Genetic algorithm (GA) is used for the optimization task to improvethe classification accuracy. Furthermore, we evaluate the proposed faultdiagnosis framework using performance metrics such as precision, accuracy,F-measure, and recall. The proposed framework is comprehensively examinedusing the triplex pump fault diagnosis. The experimental results demonstratedthat the hybrid GA-ML method gives outstanding results compared to MLmethods like LogisticRegression (LR), Na飗e Bayes (NB), and SupportVectorMachine (SVM). The suggested framework achieves the highest accuracyof 95% for the employed hybrid GA-SVM. The proposed framework willeffectively help industrial operators make an appropriate decision concerningthe fault analysis for IIoT applications in the context of Industry 4.0.

DeepFakes and face image manipulation methods have been widely distributed in the last few years and several techniques have been presented to check the authenticity of the face image and detect manipulation if exists. Most of the available manipulation detection techniques have been successfully applied to reveal one type of manipulation under specific conditions, however, many limitations and challenges can be encountered in this field. To overcome some limitations and challenges, this paper presents a new face image authentication (FIA) scheme based on Multi-Task Cascaded Conventional Neural Networks (MTCNN) and watermarking in Slantlet transform (SLT) domain. The proposed FIA scheme has three main algorithms that are face detection and selection, embedding, and extraction algorithms. Different block sizes have been used to divide the image into non-overlapping blocks followed by classifying them into two groups that are blocks from face area (FA) and blocks from the remaining area (RA) of the image. In the embedding algorithms, the authentication information is generated from FA blocks and embedded in the RA blocks. In the extraction algorithms, the embedded information is extracted from RA blocks and compared with the calculated data from FA blocks to reveal manipulations and localize the manipulated blocks if exist. Extensive experiments have been conducted to evaluate the performance of the proposed FIA scheme for different face images. The experimental work included tests for payload, capacity, visual quality, time complexity, and localization of manipulations. The results proved the efficiency of the proposed scheme in detecting and localizing different face image manipulations such as attributes attacks, retouching attacks, expression swap, face swap, and morphing attacks. Anomaly detection from medical images is badly needed for automated diagnosis. For example, medical images obtained with several modalities, such as magnetic resonance (MR) and confocal microscopy, need to be classified for anomaly detection. The MR images may contain tumors that need to be detected with anomaly detection techniques. In MR imaging, brain tumors are represented as areas composed of abnormal cells that need to be detected. On the other hand, confocal microscopy can be used for retinal imaging. Hence, there is a need to apply classification techniques for diagnosing diseases of the eye, such as Diabetic Retinopathy (DR), which leads to exudates in different regions of the retina. The detection of exudates is necessary for the diagnosis of DR. In this paper, two models are presented for the classification of MR and retinal images. Much research has been done in this area, but it did not achieve high accuracy of classification in an acceptable time. In addition, the previous models did not consider both types of image modalities considered in this paper. The suggested models are Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Convolutional Long Short-Term Memory (Conv-LSTM). They are used to classify normal and abnormal cases of both brain tumor and DR diseases. The CNN model is composed of six convolutional layers and six max-pooling layers. A soft-max activation function takes the classification decision. The proposed Conv-LSTM model is composed of three stages: pre-processing, feature extraction, and classification. The deep learning model performance is better than those of traditional networks. The CNN gives an accuracy of 94.26% for DR classification and 95.8% for brain tumor classification, while the Conv-LSTM gives the maximum accuracy of 96.41% for DR classification and 97.4% for brain tumor classification. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2025.

Several instances of pneumonia with no clear etiology were recorded in Wuhan,China,on December 31,*** world health organization(WHO)called it COVID-19 that stands for“Coronavirus Disease 2019,”which is the second version of the previously known severe acute respiratory syndrome(SARS)Coronavirus and identified in short as(SARSCoV-2).There have been regular restrictions to avoid the infection spread in all countries,including Saudi *** prediction of new cases of infections is crucial for authorities to get ready for early handling of the virus ***:Analysis and forecasting of epidemic patterns in new SARSCoV-2 positive patients are presented in this research using metaheuristic optimization and long short-term memory(LSTM).The optimization method employed for optimizing the parameters of LSTM is Al-Biruni Earth Radius(BER)***:To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology,a dataset is collected based on the recorded cases in Saudi Arabia between March 7^(th),2020 and July 13^(th),*** addition,six regression models were included in the conducted experiments to show the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed *** achieved results show that the proposed approach could reduce the mean square error(MSE),mean absolute error(MAE),and R^(2)by 5.92%,3.66%,and 39.44%,respectively,when compared with the six base *** the other hand,a statistical analysis is performed to measure the significance of the proposed ***:The achieved results confirm the effectiveness,superiority,and significance of the proposed approach in predicting the infection cases of COVID-19.

For military warfare purposes,it is necessary to identify the type of a certain weapon through video stream tracking based on infrared(IR)video *** vision is a visual search trend that is used to identify objects in images or video *** military applications,drones take a main role in surveillance tasks,but they cannot be confident for longtime ***,there is a need for such a system,which provides a continuous surveillance task to support the drone *** a system can be called a Hybrid Surveillance system(HSS).This system is based on a distributed network of wireless sensors for continuous *** addition,it includes one or more drones to make short-time missions,if the sensors detect a suspicious *** paper presents a digital solution to identify certain types of concealed weapons in surveillance applications based on Convolutional Neural Networks(CNNs)and Convolutional Long Short-Term Memory(ConvLSTM).Based on initial results,the importance of video frame enhancement is obvious to improve the visibility of objects in video *** accuracy of the proposed methods reach 99%,which reflects the effectiveness of the presented *** addition,the experimental results prove that the proposed methods provide superior performance compared to traditional ones.
