Anomaly detection plays a key role in maintaining the reliable and stable operation of industrial systems, especially in high-reliability fields. Conventional single-modal data cannot provide comprehensive information about the detected object, resulting in false or missed detection. To address the challenges of complex anomaly patterns and heterogeneous data in industrial scenarios, we propose MMDT-IAD, a multi-modal digital twin (DT)-based anomaly detection framework that integrates edge–cloud collaboration. By lever- aging physical, geometric, visual, and semantic modalities, MMDT-IAD constructs a comprehensive virtual representation of monitored objects and enables real-time, scalable detection across distributed industrial environments. Next, to enable efficient fusion of heterogeneous DT modalities, we propose a One-Primary- Three-Auxiliary (1P3A) cross-modal decision fusion strategy. Finally, we apply the MMDT-IAD frame-work to the anomaly detection of aviation electrical connector pins, and present a detailed application process. The experimental results prove the effectiveness of the MMDT-IAD framework in detecting abnormal pins. Moreover, we discuss the generality of MMDT-IAD framework considering several common industrial anomalies. These results highlight the potential of MMDT-IAD framework and 1P3A method to significantly improve anomaly detection in other complex industrial scenarios.

This paper presents a new release of A Robust Exact Differentiator Toolbox for Matlab®/Simulink® proposed in [1]. This release features a new discrete-time realization of the continuous-time robust exact differentiator. The implemented discretization scheme is less sensitive to gain overestimation and does not suffer from the discretization chattering effect. Hence, the single tuning parameter of the new version of the implemented differentiator is more intuitive to tune. Furthermore, it shows superior estimation performance in the case of large sampling times in comparison to the previous release. This is confirmed by the presented results obtained by numerical simulations and a real world application. © 2018 IEEE.

This paper proposes a distributed estimates fusion algorithm for target tracking problem based on consensus method and cubature kalman filter with switching topology network. In order to get the accurate state information of maneuvering target via sensor network, this paper develops filter algorithm by taking the advantage of consensus method and cubature kalman filter. Firstly, each sensor node gets the local estimation by performing cubature kalman filter algorithm. Secondly, we develops a fusion protocol to fuse the estimates from each sensor node in the sensor network based on the consensus method. In this step, the switching topologies of sensor network is considered and the sufficient condition for the algorithm proposed in this paper is given. Besides, this paper analyses the boundedness of the algorithm proposed and gives the detailed proof of convergence. Finally, a simulation example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

This paper considers the problem of designing physical watermark signals in order to optimally detect possible replay attack in a linear time-invariant system, under the assumption that the system parameters are unknown and need to be identified online. We first provide a replay attack model, where an adversary replays the previous sensor data in order to fool the system. A physical watermarking scheme, which leverages a random control input as a watermark to detect the replay attack, is then introduced. The optimal watermark signal design problem is cast as an optimization problem, which aims to achieve the optimal trade-off between control performance and intrusion detection. An online watermarking design and system identification algorithm is provided to deal with systems with unknown parameters. We prove that the proposed algorithm converges to the optimal one and characterize the almost sure convergence rate. A numerical example and an industrial process example are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy. Copyright © 2019, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Industrial and automation control systems require that data be delivered in a highly predictable manner in terms of time. Time-sensitive Networking (TSN), an extension of the Ethernet, is a set of protocols developed and maintained by the IEEE 802.1 Task Group;the protocols deal with time synchronization, traffic scheduling, and network configuration, etc. TSN yields promising solutions for real-time and deterministic networks. Here, we develop a TSN simulation model based on OMNET++;we model a TSN-enabled switch that schedules traffic using gate control lists (GCLs). Simulation verified that the model guaranteed deterministic end-to-end latency. © 2018 IEEE.

— A new modified repetitive control strategy based on the Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model is presented for an affine nonlinear system to track a periodic reference and reject a periodic disturbance. Then, a parallel distributed compensation control strategy is developed for the fuzzy repetitive system. Further, taking advantage of the control action during a period and the learning action between periods, a two-dimensional model is established for the closed-loop control system. A sufficient condition in the form of a set of linear matrix inequalities is derived to guarantee the robust asymptotic stability of the closed-loop control system. Simulation results demonstrate the validity of the method. In this paper,attitude coordinated tracking control algorithms for multiple spacecraft formation are investigated with consideration of parametric uncertainties,external disturbances,communication delays and actuator ***,a sliding mode delay-dependent attitude coordinated controller is proposed under bounded external ***,neither inertia uncertainty nor actuator constraint has been taken into ***,a robust saturated delaydependent attitude coordinated control law is further derived,where uncertainties and external disturbances are handled by Chebyshev neural networks（CNN）.In addition,command filter technique is introduced to facilitate the backstepping design procedure,through which actuator saturation problem is *** the spacecraft in the formation are able to track the reference attitude trajectory even in the presence of time-varying communication *** analysis is presented by using Lyapunov-Krasovskii approach to demonstrate the stability of the closed-loop system under both control ***,the numerical examples are carried out to illustrate the efficiency of the theoretical results.

In modern era, one of the rising power quality (PQ) concern is harmonics distortion (HD). The HD is usually produced by increase in the utilization of nonlinear user loads at domestic level. It not only spoils the PQ but also have harmful effects on electrical appliances. So, this paper presents a new approach to mitigate the HD in home appliances rapidly by utilizing the active band pass filter (ABPF). The fast Fourier transform (FFT) technique is employed for the detection of harmonics in appliances. The band pass filter dramatically affects the response time of active filter. The suggested control methodology is capable to eliminate harmonics from distorted input voltage waveform and provides a pure sinusoidal waveform. The prototype of this model is also implemented. Experimental results along with simulation show that the proposed model is quite effective in eliminating HD despite load variations and also useful to compensate the reactive power in electronic home appliances. Hence, this technique is cost effective for domestic users with high quality performance in all aspects.

Computational prediction of the interaction between human leukocyte antigen (HLA) and peptide (pHLA) can speed up epitope screening and vaccine design. Here, we develop the TransMut framework composed of TransPHLA for pHLA binding prediction and AOMP for mutated peptide optimization, which can be generalized to any binding and mutation task of biomolecules. Firstly, TransPHLA is developed by using a Transformer-derived self-attention model to predict pHLA binding, which is significantly superior to 11 previous methods on pHLA binding prediction, neoantigen and human papilloma virus vaccine identification. For vaccine design, the AOMP program is then developed to automatically optimize mutated peptides to search for mutant peptides with higher affinity to the target HLA and with high homology to the source peptide. Among 3660 non-binding pHLAs, 3630 were successfully mutated. Of these, 94% were verified by the IEDB recommended method, and 88% have homology higher than 80% to the source peptide. © 2021, CC BY.
