The article deals with the problem of research of the different operating modes of the decentralized control system for two degrees of a freedom robotic manipulator which have input saturations. With the help of numerical experiments, a sufficiently high quality of the control system operation under various periodic modes of the manipulator operation is illustrated.

Operational drilling parameters optimization is necessary for increase drilling efficiency in complex geological drilling process. There are four key objectives to evaluate the drilling efficiency, including drilling cost, rate of penetration（ROP）, drill bit life, and drill bit’s specific energy. In this paper, we proposed a multi-objective optimization method to improve drilling efficiency in the complex geological drilling process considering all the four key objectives. Firstly, the characteristics of complex geological drilling process and optimization problems are analyzed to find the vital process parameters and problems for drilling efficiency optimization. Then, a multi-objective optimization model which combines the four key objectives is ***, an improved nondominated sorting genetic algorithm（improved NSGA-II） is used to optimize the operational drilling parameters include weight on bit（WOB） and rotational speed（RS） to make drilling efficiency improved. The real case results demonstrate that our method increases the drilling efficiency in four key objectives and saves the simulation time. The proposed method provides the foundation for intelligent optimization control in complex geological drilling process.

In this paper, it is presented a new temperature sensor designed for self-protection of Integrated Circuits (IC). This sensor mainly prevents damages caused by heating which can lead to burning or malfunctioning of electronic devices. The main objective is to create a small-area low-power consumption protection circuit that operates independently of an external circuitry and self-protects the IC against heating, in a temperature range of -20°C to 120°C. The sensor was designed using Cadence Virtuoso employing the system on a Chip (SoC) concept, for a standard 180nm CMOS technology to operate with a power supply voltage of 1.2V. The results show an effective sensor protection for a temperature range of -40°C to 140°C, which exceeds the range originally specified. The new designed circuit can be used as an excellent protector against heating of an IC.

In this paper, a fault diagnosis approach is proposed for power systems based on deterministic learning(DL) ***, a learning estimator is constructed to obtain knowledge of the fault dynamics in the power networks. Based on DL, local accurate approximations of the unknown fault functions are achieved. Second, a distributed fault diagnosis scheme is designed to monitor the power systems. The knowledge of the fault dynamics is used to detect the occurrence of a fault. Simulation studies are included to demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach.

Micro gas turbine generation system (MGTGS) has the advantages of low emission, high comprehensive efficiency and fast response. It gradually becomes a distributed power source with the prospect of development in the fields of renewable energy resource and the emergency power supply in hospital. However, the MGTGS does not have the self-starting ability. The permanent magnet machine in the system can be used as the motor to drive the micro gas turbine to start up. In this paper, the simplified model of the micro gas turbine and the mathematical models of the permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) and the converter at the grid-side are established. The grid-side converter is controlled by the strategy of grid voltage orientation based vector control, and the PMSM-side converter is controlled by the strategy of vector control based on rotor flux orientation. Modeling and simulation of the start-up control strategy of micro-gas turbine power generation system are implemented. The simulation and experimental results validate the effectiveness of the control strategy.

The steel corrosion affecting study is important for industries and companies as well as for manufacturers of these material types. AISI SAE 1045 steel was used in this study, due to its frequent use. A specimen's series were prepared which were induced in an aggressive environment with the aim of degenerative process accelerating by increasing the material corrosion impact by altering the material mechanical properties. 15 specimens were exposed to the fog bank chamber, likewise 15 specimens in saline immersion chamber all with different exposure times 15. 30, and 45 days, subsequently the specimens are the impact test subjected to by the method of Charpy obtaining the tenacity value. To determine these values, the ASTM E23, ASTM A673 and ASTM E739 standards were used.

In cloud computing, data is duplicated to prevent data loss. One way to achieve data consistency in such a distributed computing systems is to use a blockchain. Based on practical Byzantine fault tolerance (PBFT), a specific type of blockchain, this paper proposes a synchronous Byzantine fault tolerance (SBFT) algorithm that not only maintains data consistency, but also has much higher efficiency than other general blockchain algorithms. We provide experimental results that demonstrate the algorithm's data consistency, efficiency, and reliability.

The paper proposes a model reduction algorithm for linear hybrid systems, i.e., hybrid systems with externally induced discrete events, with linear continuous subsystems, and linear reset maps. The model reduction algorithm is based on balanced truncation. Moreover, the paper also proves an analytical error bound for the difference between the input-output behaviors of the original and the reduced order model. Biomass concentration is an important indicator of production rate in polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) fermentation process. In current practice, measurement of biomass concentration is done off-line by laboratory analysis that is unsuitable for online process monitoring and control. Soft-sensor is often used as an alternative that provides an estimate of hard to measure parameters from easy to measure process data. However, most of these studies use simulated data or data generated from mathematical model that was developed without full consideration of process and measurement uncertainty. In this study, a soft-sensor is developed from real production data for PHA fermentation in pilot-scale bioreactor with the appropriate data pre-processing techniques applied to process data that was obtained from this system. Multilayer perceptron (MLP) neural network is used to estimate biomass concentration using secondary process parameters such as dissolved oxygen (DO), temperature, pH and agitation speed as inputs. Different models are developed based on different batches of production data and various network architecture in order to study the appropriate integration of process data and network topology that gives the best model accuracy. Results indicate that the biomass soft-sensor developed using MLP-ANN provides a better estimate of biomass in comparison to radial basis function (RBF) neural network and support vector regression (SVR) methods. The developed soft-sensor can be further used in monitoring and control of production output.

Piezoelectricity comes as a principle of transformation of mechanical energy into electrical energy, it is limited in terms of investment, time and research, due to this fact, the need arises to be able to innovate with data collection on the most used models to collect and generate electrical energy. In this research, the literature regarding the generation and collection of electrical energy using piezoelectric materials was analyzed, from this analysis, fifty innovative articles were determined in the last three years, which were reflected in a data matrix, in which It presents the generation and collection element, the applications, and shows the performance in terms of power or voltage that the prototypes supply. With the results of the table, a condensed panorama of current data is obtained, about the most used and outstanding of this form of little-used energy, but which is a competent and efficient alternative for the generation of electricity.
