Abstract Epistatic miniarray profiling (E-MAP) is powerful for measuring gene biological relevance. However, E-MAP suffers from large number of missing values, and in order to use the E-MAP information more efficiently, the missing values have to be estimated. In this paper, considering advantages and disadvantages of different independent algorithms, we proposed a novel fusion approach based on the high-level diversity to estimate missing values that consists of two global and four local base estimators. Experiment results show our fusion scheme is more effective and robust for the missing value imputations and outperforms all single base algorithms on E-MAP data.

In this paper, the problem of designing of robust state-feedback H ∞ controller for uncertain sampled-data controlsystems with output constraints have been investigated base on jump system model of sampled-data system using constant Lyapunov function (CLF) approach. The online algorithm of the H ∞ receding horizon optimization design for the norm-bounded parametric uncertain system is proposed. The optimal state-feedback H ∞ controllers are obtained and these controller can provide a performance tradeoff with respect to output constraints, i.e., the control strategy offers the capability of relaxing the performance level automatically in order to obey output constraints in the case of a larger disturbance. When the disturbance is restored to a usual situation, this control strategy can also improve the performance of system automatically.

The multidelays linear controlsystems described by difference differential equations are often studied in modern control theory. In this paper, the delay-independent stabilization algebraic criteria and the theorem of delay-independent stabilization for linear systems with multiple time-delays are established by using the Lyapunov functional and the Riccati algebra matrix equation in the matrix theory. An illustrative example and the simulation result, show that the approach to linear systems with multiple time-delays is effective.

This paper addresses a Kalman filtering problem for a class of local strongly coupled systems which are derived from complex systems with inter communication or constraint between nodes. To start with, a multi-agent system is introduced and the communication matrix is characterized by employing random series with Bernoulli distributions. Using augmentation techniques and stochastic methods, the Kalman filtering algorithm is deducted. The experimental results not only demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed filtering method, but also show the inter-agent communication could improve the tracing effect in the multi-agent collaborative systems.

Nowadays, probe vehicles equipped with Global Position system (GPS) are an effective way of collecting real-time traffic information. This paper first briefly introduces the Curve-Fitting Estimation Model (CFEM), which is one of the typical methods using GPS data to estimate the traffic flow state. After that, it is detailedly analyzed how many probe vehicles the CFEM requires in order to ensure enough estimated accuracy. Furthermore, a sample size algorithm is developed to calculate the minimum sample size of the CFEM. In the algorithm, the road type, the length of road section, and sample frequency are taken into account. Finally, the proposed algorithm of sample size analysis are tested by the experiments using the data collected from the road network of the whole center region of Shanghai.

Saturation characteristic exists widely in the real system, and a large number of articles have taken constraint conditions into account during the controller design process. However, relative to the research on the input (actuator) saturation, study on the output (sensor) saturation has not been taken seriously and research results are very little, especially in the aspect of effect on the identification due to the saturation output. In this paper, under the data-driven controlsystem based on online subspace identification and model predictive control (MPC) method, the relationship among the output saturation step, prediction horizon and subspace matrix is obtained, while the change of the system information is unknown because the output signals are locked. Finally, a simulation example is given to demonstrate the correction of the conclusion.

We have investigated the nanopatterning of chemical vapor deposited (CVD) diamond films in room-temperature nanoimprint lithography (RT-NIL), using a diamond nanodot mold. We have proposed the use of polysiloxane as an electron beam (EB) mask and RT-imprint resist materials. The diamond molds of cylinder dot using the RT-NIL process were fabricated with polysiloxane oxide mask in EB lithography technology. The dot in minimum diameter is 500 nm. The pitch between the dots is 2 μm, and dot has a height of about 600 nm. It was found that the optimum imprinting conditions for the RT-NIL : time from spin-coating to imprinting t1 of 1 min , pressure time t2 of 5 min, imprinting pressure P of 0.5 MPa. The imprint depth obtained after the press under their conditions was 500 nm. We carried out the RT-NIL process for the fabrication of diamond nanopit arrays, using the diamond nanodot molds that we developed. The resulting diamond nanopit arrays with 500 nm-diameter and 200 nm-depth after the electron cyclotron resonance (ECR) oxygen ion beam etching were fabricated. The diameter of diamond nanopit arrays was in good agreement with that of the diamond nanodot mold.

In this study, a new type of trigonometric neural network is presented by adding frequency and phase to trigonometric activation functions. The proposed trigonometric neural network has more flexibility in comparison with conventional trigonometric neural networks and even other types of neural networks. Due to the low convergence rate and high posibility of trapping in a local minimum of backpropagation algorithm, Extended Kalman Filter algorithm is used to train the neural network's parameters which they appear in a nonlinear form. The Simulation of the suggested neural network based on the prediction of Mackey-Glass time series and identification of a nonlinear dynamic ystem reveals the efficiency of the proposed network. To show the efficiency of this method, the results are compared with the results of the others.
