Senile plaque blue autofluorescence was discovered around 40 years ago,however,its impact on Alzheimer’s disease(AD)pathology has not been fully *** analyzed senile plaques with immunohistochemistry and fluorescence imaging on AD brain sections and also Aβ aggregation in *** DAPI or Hoechst staining,the nuclear blue fluorescence could only be correctly assigned after subtracting the blue plaque *** flower-like structures wrapping dense-core blue fluorescence formed by cathepsin D staining could not be considered central-nucleated neurons with defective lysosomes since there was no nuclear staining in the plaque core when the blue autofluorescence was *** Aβ self-oligomers and Aβ/hemoglobin heterocomplexes generated blue *** Aβ amyloid blue autofluorescence not only labels senile plaques but also illustrates red cell aggregation,hemolysis,cerebral amyloid angiopathy,vascular plaques,vascular adhesions,and *** summary,we conclude that Aβ-aggregation-generated blue autofluorescence is an excellent multi-amyloidosis marker in Alzheimer’s disease.

Surface defects in steel are crucial for quality inspection in the manufacturing of industrial metal products. While deep learning methods have been extensively studied in this field, the lack of large-scale annotated defect samples imposes significant labeling pressure, making training fully supervised deep models challenging. In response to this issue, we employ self-supervised learning for few-shot recognition, effectively learning representations from limited unlabeled data and achieving defect recognition with a small amount of labeled samples. In particular, we construct Other encoder with multi-view information and Base encoder with single view information based on the distillation self-supervised learning framework through the multi-crops mechanism, and the Other encoders and Base encoders perform information share. Our main contribution is that, based on this framework, we propose a new regularization method to solve the problem of instances deviating from the center of self-supervised clustering by minimizing the maximum instance distance (MMD). In testing, fine-tuning the MMD pre-trained model with a small number of labeled data achieves superior recognition performance on the steel surface defect dataset NEU, significantly outperforming other testing methods. © 2024 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

This paper presents a design of a half-mode substrate integrated waveguide (HMSIW) antenna for S-band frequencies using half-octagonal ring slots to achieve significant bandwidth enhancement. The proposed structure integrates a half-octagonal ring slot within the HMSIW cavity to enhance impedance bandwidth by exciting dual resonant modes — TE101 and TE102. The antenna achieves a measured fractional bandwidth (FBW) of 5.6%, corresponding to an operational range of 3.15 to 3.33 GHz, and a simulated FBW of 5.2% from 3.17 to 3.40 GHz. Compared to conventional cavity-backed SIW antennas, this configuration offers a 50% size reduction while maintaining stable gain between 3.1 dBi and 5.6 dBi and exhibiting a directional linear radiation pattern in the horizontal plane. The integration of dual-resonance excitation within a single compact HMSIW cavity represents a significant advancement in bandwidth enhancement for planar antennas. This design offers a feasible and efficient solution for modern wireless applications requiring miniaturized and compact size in S-band frequencies. © 2025, Electromagnetics Academy. This paper introduces a new variational Gaussian filtering approach for estimating the state of a nonlinear dynamic system. We first assume that the predictive distribution of the state is Gaussian and derive an iterative method for updating the state posterior in the natural parameter space through KullbackLeibler divergence minimization. The obtained update rule is the same as that of the conjugate-computation variational inference technique in Bayesian learning. The derivation here is simpler and more insightful. We then impose a Wishart prior on the inverse of the state prediction covariance to take into account the impact of approximating the state predictive distribution using a Gaussian density on the state posterior estimation. The prediction covariance is identified jointly with the state using variational inference and the established state posterior update rule to achieve the desired Gaussian filtering. Simulation study examines the performance of the proposed filtering framework in target tracking based on bearing and range measurements. © 2024 ISIF.

Ultraviolet communication (UVC) has emerged as a promising solution for close-range communication within the intricate electromagnetic setting. The atmosphere's attenuation, however, restricts the scope and rate of communication. We demonstrated a line-of-sight (LOS) UV communication system. In our system, we employed ultraviolet light-emitting diodes (LEDs) in our system to transmit the signal light with a broad radiation angle and use lenses to enhance the communication range. We propose a combined approach of theory and practice to analyze the feasibility of a LOS UVC system. © 2023 IEEE.

Alveolar echinococcosis (AE) remains a serious worldwide public health problem as a very harmful human tapeworm disease. Rapid and accurate diagnosis of AE is crucial for treatment and postoperative recovery. This study explored the applicability of tissue surface Raman spectroscopy (SERS) combined with machine learning for rapid AE detection. Specifically, liver tissue section samples were obtained by creating an AE mouse model and SERS spectra were acquired. Five kinds of machine learning methods were used to construct AE diagnosis model, among which the linear kernel support vector machine (SVM) model had the best classification result, and the accuracy rate reached 95.7%. Then, the linear SVM model was subjected to feature significance analysis, which demonstrated that the biochemicals corresponding to the spectra of 641,716 and 1372 cm-1 might be potential biomarkers. Gaussian noise is further added to test the noise interference resistance of different machine learning algorithms, and it is found that SVM with Gaussian radial basis function (RBF) kernel function has better noise interference resistance. The results show that tissue SERS spectroscopy combined with SVM algorithm for rapid detection of AE has a promising application. © 2024 IEEE.

This article aims to propose an algorithm for operating a robot gyroscope application. A gyroscope, an instrument for measuring and maintaining direction, utilizes the concept of angular momentum. The hardware architecture utilizes the GY-85 sensor modules, the ESP-32, and the OLED to accomplish communication with other linked devices. I will refer to it as the 3D gyroscope. It is possible for this gadget to function in conjunction with any kind of gyroscope or robot of any kind. For determining the values of acceleration and gravity, the application makes use of the x, y, and z axes. To communication between the devices, the algorithm makes use of the Modbus protocol for communication between the devices. You can use LabView to develop a testable gyroscope application. We rotated the constructed three-dimensional gyroscope at angles of 0 degrees, 45 degrees, and -45 degrees along the x, y, and z axes to test the results. The rotating process produced a multi-perspective, three-dimensional presentation of the constructed or developed device. Theta values in the x, y, and z axes that come from the experimental findings for angles of 45, -45, and 0 are extremely accurate.
