electronic devices in the 21st century have numerous network components, including wireless or wired Internet access modules. Connecting devices to networks and cloud services enables them to access new functionalities and unlock system updates and device security enhancements. The article presents the concept of an intelligent laundry management system based on RFID and cloud computing. The Internet connection not only unlocks additional features of the washing machine, such as different washing modes, but also allows for selecting the appropriate detergent level and washing parameters based on the textile material being washed. Additionally, the paper presents the solution and measurement studies on the accuracy of textile identification.

With the continuous development of new energy generation technology and the increasingly complex power grid environment,the traditional black start scheme cannot meet the requirements of today’s power grid in order to ensure the stable operation of the power system can be restored quickly in the face of large power outages,so a more complete black start scheme needs to be developed to cope with the new power *** the development of energy storage technology,the limitations of the traditional black-start scheme can be solved by new energy farms with energy storage ***,this paper investigates the problems faced by black-start,the key technologies of energy storage assisted new energy black-start,and introduces the research related to new energy black-start technology to provide reference for future research and application of new energy black-start.

This paper proposes an angular speed 3D-based beam tracking method using hybrid beamforming. We propose a new beam tracking algorithm that enables dynamic pilot insertion based on closed loop feedback control by utilizing the Line of Sight (LoS) path of the channel between T-BS and UAV-UE. Simulations show that the proposed beam tracking method has improved overall performance in terms of beamforming gain and spectral efficiency (SE). © 2023 IEEE.

This paper introduces an algorithm for improving the security performance in a system by combining unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs), which are emerging technologies in the context of 6G networks. Multiple flying RISs are utilized in this approach. Among them, a DNN-based algorithm is presented to deploy flying RISs in appropriate locations to cover the maximum number of users possible. Through simulation experiments, the superiority of the proposed algorithm is confirmed in terms of accuracy and execution time. In the future, research will be conducted on algorithms optimizing beamforming from the perspective of the base station (BS) and achieving active beamforming within the RIS to further enhance the security performance. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper illustrates the use of two distinct control strategies. Namely, the Sliding Mode control (SMC) and a Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) controller to monitor and handle the suspension system vibrations that occurred. We used a half car suspension model with (4DOF). The necessary suspension performance attributes, such as ride comfort, suspension deflection and car handling require a comprehensive control system. Three components make up this control system, which is carried out using the MATLAB application: the controller, the suspension system model, and input signals (road profile and actuator force). A comparison of the half car active suspension system LQR and SMC controllers as well as the uncontrolled suspension system is presented. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper proposes a grey-box model for IPMSMs (Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors) that accounts for the nonlinear relationship between currents and torque directly. IPMSMs with high power density typically exhibit complex torque characteristics due to the effects of magnetic saturation and spatial harmonics, necessitating the introduction of various nonlinear compensation tables based on magnetic field analysis to ensure control performance. However, inputting data without considering the physical properties can lead to many variables and increased memory usage, which does not necessarily improve control performance. Consequently, models representing magnetic saturation characteristics with a reduced number of parameters, as well as torque estimation methods, are under investigation. Moreover, advancements in high-precision and rapid-response torque sensors, along with magnetic field analysis technologies, have enabled detailed offline measurements of IPMSM torque, with promising prospects for control applications. In this study, we propose an Extended Torque Coefficient (ETC) matrix to express the grey-box model for control purposes, utilizing accurate map data reflective of the actual machine. In addition, the proposed model can be applied to calculate torque gradient in the current vector space, which is maximize torque control performance, while maintaining the ETC matrix.

This paper proposes a novel online-learning-enabled hierarchical distributionally robust energy management framework for multi-microgrids (MMGs) with off-site hydrogen refueling stations (HRSs). The proposed framework integrates day-ahead scheduling, intra-day rescheduling and real-time control. The day-ahead scheduling is implemented via a central energy management system for optimal joint scheduling of the MMG systems and off-site HRSs, then the intra-day rescheduling is carried out to optimize the real-time operation and to generate the reference for local controllers. To adequately characterize the statistical properties of renewable and load uncertainties from data streams, we leverage a Dirichlet process mixture model to construct an online-update ambiguity set, which encodes multimodality and local moment information. Based upon this ambiguity set, an online-learning distributionally robust model predictive control (OL-DRMPC) is developed to enhance the tracking performance of energy storage references and to reduce conservatism while guaranteeing probabilistic operational constraints. Its effectiveness is verified in a case study. © 2022 IEEE.

In order to adapt to the development trend of light-weight and low-cost SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) satellites, products of drive control modules, especially drive control modules of SAR antenna deployment mechanism and solar array, are required to be light-weight and low-cost. At the level of product design, the mechanical structure of light-weight drive control module and low-cost hardware circuit design are given. The design scheme mainly involves the electromechanical integration interface of the drive control module and the drive mechanism, and the protection and reinforcement of the industrial components of the hardware circuit. At the level of product production, firstly, the product is designed according to modularization. Secondly, a series of standard systems from production to test are established. Finally, automatic production lines and automatic testing equipment are used for mass production and testing of products. The above design and production optimization measures reduce the weight and cost of drive control module products. The light-weight and low-cost drive control modules is conducive to carrying more payloads on SAR satellites and networking between satellites.

In recent years, there has been a significant increase in interest in the use of flexible sensor structures for various applications. These structures are relatively inexpensive and can be fabricated in different shapes and sizes. The present article investigates three types of flexible capacitive sensor structures with different forms. The influence of bending on their capacitance, impedance, and dielectric losses in the frequency domain has been studied. Some of the obtained results are presented graphically, and an analysis of the properties of the structures has been conducted. © 2023 IEEE.

The continuous energy demand increasing is bringing out various problems related to the development of renewable energies. It is becoming increasingly essential to be able to count on adequate systems of energy storage (ESS - Energy Storage systems) both in the distribution and in eco-sustainable mobility. In particular, the study of flywheel energy storage systems (FESS) is recently gaining interest not only for the stabilization of systems with rotating parts but also for their use in coupling with motor generators in the mobility sector. This paper proposes a Field Oriented control regulation system for a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor, driven by an inverter and connected to a traction system through DC-Link by a four-quadrant converter applied to a new conception flywheel designed for the automotive environment. Finally, the results obtained by the simulations are therefore compared with special regard to the final efficiency evaluation of the system.
