Generation of squeezed light source is a promising technique to overcome the standard quantum limit in precision ***,we demonstrate an experimental generation of quadrature squeezing resonating on the cesium D_(2)line down to 10 Hz for the first *** maximum squeezing in audio frequency band is 5.57 ***,we have presented a singlephoton modulation locking to control the squeezing angle,while effectively suppressing the influence of laser noise on low-frequency *** whole system operates steadily for *** generated low-frequency squeezed light source can be applied in quantum metrology,light–matter interaction investigation and quantum memory in the audio frequency band and even below.

U-Net frameworks reveal potential on image segmentation tasks of the complex morphologic objects, such as capillaries. To compare the performance of vessels segmentation in fundus images, in this paper, we review U-Net and its three derived architectures: Residual Spatial Attention Network, Generative Adversarial Networks and IterNet. The networks training and testing were completed using the same image datasets under the same configurations. We calculated the accuracy and precision of segmentation results. The results showed that the cascade U-Net architecture provided better results especially on the capillaries parts. © 2021 ACM.

Continuous real-time blood pressure monitoring offers remarkable potential for the detection of cardiovascular disease. In fact, detection from an inflatable cuff makes the patient uncomfortable as a consequence of the inflation pressure of the cuff on the arm, which causes failures in detecting the results or errors in interpreting the systolic blood pressure values and diastolic blood pressure. In this contribution, we present an automatic system to predict the blood pressure signal based on the complexity analysis of the ECG signal, where the features extracted are signal mobility, signal complexity, fractal dimension, entropy, and autocorrelation with the neural network approach (ANN). Our technique is mainly tested on the MIMIC-III databases available to the public on physionet to have the ECG and ABP signals for feature extraction. The results provided argue in favor of our method in terms of efficiency and precision. Indeed, the proposed approach offers the possibility of detecting arterial pressure such as systolic arterial pressure and diastolic arterial pressure in real time

This paper presents investigations of a transformerless half bridge sub-module (HBSM) modular multilevel converter based distribution static synchronous compensator (MMC D-STATCOM) performance in reactive power compensation considering the application of the modified ADRC controllers in the inner current loop and in the outer DC voltage loop using Synchronous Reference Frame control. Simulation results with the imposition of severe variations in reactive loads were obtained on a 5 km medium voltage feeder and will demonstrate that the modified ADRC controller enables superior performance for flexible operation with fast and efficient response of the MMC D-STATCOM in reactive power compensation.

Timed weighted marked graphs are a subclass of timed Petri nets that have wide applications in the control and performance analysis of flexible manufacturing *** to the existence of multiplicities(i.e.,weights)on edges,the performance analysis and resource optimization of such graphs represent a challenging *** this paper,we develop an approach to transform a timed weighted marked graph whose initial marking is not given,into an equivalent parametric timed marked graph where the edges have unitary *** order to explore an optimal resource allocation policy for a system,an analytical method is developed for the resource optimization of timed weighted marked graphs by studying an equivalent ***,we apply the proposed method to a flexible manufacturing system and compare the results with a previous heuristic *** analysis shows that the developed approach is superior to the heuristic approach.

During the last two decades, interest in grid integrated renewable energy sources (RERs) into the electrical power grids has significantly grown. The motive being a promising strategy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions generated by conventional power plants (CPPs) and hence environmental consequences, decrease losses in distribution lines to improve power system supply efficiency and reliability to consumers. As a result, several CPPs are being replaced by RERs such as solar PV system, wind energy, micro hydro-turbine, fuel cell, and small gas power plants. These are installed close to customers on low-voltage and medium-voltage sites to reduce losses in the network and improve power quality, overall efficiency and reliability. However, grid-connected RERs via inverter decreases system inertia due to decrease in CPPs with rotating mass serving as an immediate natural response to frequency deviations following network disturbances. Therefore, this paper presents the design of dynamic virtual-inertia control (DVIC) scheme. The developed DVIC incorporates the mechanism to adjust active and reactive demand in response to any frequency and voltage variations to ensure system stability. To validate the suitability of the presented technique, MATLAB/Simulink model is developed and simulated under various operating scenarios. Using the results obtained simulation study, it is evidently the proposed DVIC shows improved performance is achieved than when no inertia control system applied.

In order to solve the problem of unmanned aerial Vehicle (UAV) cluster saturation attack, the autonomous maneuver strategy of UAV is studied. Based on the distributed partial observable Markov decision process, the autonomous maneuver decision model of UAV is constructed, and the Recurrent Multi-Agent Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient (RMADDPG) is used to learn the maneuver strategy of UAV cluster saturation attack. Combined with the typical characteristics of saturation attack scenario, two reward functions of global reward and local reward for UAV maneuver are designed. The trained UAVs can effectively perform suicide saturation attack task. According to the mission target design evaluation index of saturation attack, the Monte Carlo analysis method is used to compare the proposed method with particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm in three aspects: inter aircraft collision avoidance, NFZ avoidance and simultaneous attack. The experimental results show that the trained UAVs can effectively perform the suicide saturation attack task under the condition of a small amount of communication, which provides a method for the application of multi-agent deep reinforcement learning to UAV cluster operations. © 2022 IEEE.

electronic devices in the 21st century have numerous network components, including wireless or wired Internet access modules. Connecting devices to networks and cloud services enables them to access new functionalities and unlock system updates and device security enhancements. The article presents the concept of an intelligent laundry management system based on RFID and cloud computing. The Internet connection not only unlocks additional features of the washing machine, such as different washing modes, but also allows for selecting the appropriate detergent level and washing parameters based on the textile material being washed. Additionally, the paper presents the solution and measurement studies on the accuracy of textile identification. © 2023 Polish Information Processing Society.

Platoon control of autonomous industrial vehicles contributes to improving the safety and reliability of cargo transportation in complex industrial scenarios, increasing traffic efficiency and saving energy. The platoon control of autonomous heavy-load industrial vehicles is much harder, as the high robustness requirements, low hardware ability and complex un-structural environments. This paper considers the platoon control task from the view-point of practical industrial applications. Firstly, the longitudinal dynamic model of the heavy-load industrial vehicle is transferred into a first-order damping acceleration response model by introducing the low-level feedback linearization control and compensations. Secondly, the synchronization control concept is introduced and a fully distributed control law is presented, which only requires the coupling information of the two nearest neighbors. In particular, in order to ensure the practical applicability, the information processing delays, data samplings and external control disturbances are explicitly modelled and the global stability analysis approach is presented. Finally, we provide real experiments using full-scale industrial heavy-load vehicles to demonstrate our effectiveness and robustness. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper proposes a fully decentralized local electricity market mechanism backboned by a modified version of the Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers (ADMM). Comparing with the state-of-the-art peer-to-peer (P2P) market in local distribution systems, the proposed electricity trading mechanism comprehensively incorporates power network constraints formulated by an Alternating Current (AC) power flow model. In the proposed method, nodal voltages are designed as the only public variables shared among participants. Privacy of each participant is thus sufficiently preserved without exposing the bid data to the others. Meanwhile, the proposed method can also ensure the global optimality of social welfare in electricity transactions. Comprehensive case studies on the IEEE 33-node distribution system are conducted to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed electricity trading mechanism. © 2022 IEEE.
