This paper addresses the stability analysis of uncertain discrete-time delayed systems described by Difference-Algebraic Representations (DAR). This kind of representation allows dealing with rational functions of the state as well as uncertain parameters. New delay-dependent Linear Matrix Inequalities based-conditions are obtained with a parameter-dependent Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional jointly with the Wirtinger-based summation inequality and the delay-dependent Moon's inequality with a suitable augmented vector. Numerical examples illustrate the potential and effectiveness of the proposed conditions.

Surface electromyography (sEMG) recordings can be contaminated by electrocardiogram (ECG) signals when the monitored muscle is closed to the heart. Traditional signal processing-based approaches, such as high-pass filtering and template subtraction, have been used to remove ECG interference but are often limited in their effectiveness. Recently, neural network-based methods have shown greater promise for sEMG denoising, but they still struggle to balance both efficiency and effectiveness. In this study, we introduce MSEMG, a novel system that integrates the Mamba state space model with a convolutional neural network to serve as a lightweight sEMG denoising model. We evaluated MSEMG using sEMG data from the Non-Invasive Adaptive Prosthetics database and ECG signals from the MIT-BIH Normal Sinus Rhythm Database. The results show that MSEMG outperforms existing methods, generating higher-quality sEMG signals using fewer parameters.

This paper investigates the performance of single-phase inverter topologies regarding their efficiency and power density. The main objective is to verify competitive advantages among topologies and determine which ones are more suitable for being employed as PV inverters. As distribution grids transition from the traditional model to the smart grid model, grid control becomes a significant part of deployment planning. The integration of Electric Vehicles (EVs) into the traditional distribution grid requires detailed planning and analysis studies to be performed. This study investigates the effects of balanced and unbalanced EV charging station (EVCS) loads in a distribution region in Türkiye for low and high growth rate demand scenarios in 2030. The charger model adopted for the study distribution region is a 7 kW single-phase device. The study uses the distribution region’s current power consumption data to run simulations on Digsilent Powerfactory and to forecast power demand for 2030. The results for both traditional grid and expected smart grid scenarios are presented and discussed.

This paper proposes a task planning and motion control framework that generates task plans for a linear temporal logic specification (LTL), which are then executed using a task-space constrained motion controller and a local task planner that overcomes local minima. We propose a new encoding for task specifications, directly in the task-space, as constraints of a mixed-integer linear program that can be used with off-the-shelf LTL linear encoding. We apply our framework to plan and execute trajectories for a free-flying robot and show that the task plan is accomplished without collisions, even in the presence of unexpected moving obstacles that are not considered in the planning phase, while control signal constraints are satisfied. To evaluate the local minima avoidance, we compare the local task planner with a sampling-based motion planner, and the results show a smoother trajectory with a faster execution and less total planning time when using our framework. Last, our framework scaled well with a longer LTL specification, as opposed to automata-based frameworks that usually suffer with the curse of the dimensionality.
