Agriculture plays a major role in developing countries like India, however the food security still remains a vital issue. Most of the crops get wasted due to lack of storage facility, transportation, and plant diseases. More than 15% of the crops get wasted in India due to diseases and hence it has become one of the major concern to be resolved. There is a need of automatic system that can identify these diseases and help farmers to take appropriate steps to get rid of crop loss. Farmers have followed the conventional method of identifying the plant disease with their naked eyes, and it not possible for all the farmers to identify these diseases the same way. With the advance in Artificial Intelligence, there is a need to incorporate the facilities of the computer vision in the field of agriculture. Deep Learning rich libraries and user as well as developer friendly environment to work with, all these qualities make Deep Learning as the favorable method to get started with this problem. In this paper we have used Deep Learning because of the advantages it offers to work with images especially in image classification to get improvised results. The methodology includes taking leaves of infected crops and label them as per the disease pattern. The images of infected leaves are processed pixel based operations are applied to improve the information from the image. As a next step feature extraction is done followed by image segmentation and at the last classification of crop diseases based on the patterns extracted from the diseased leaves. The CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) is used for the classification of diseases, for the demonstration purpose the public dataset is used consisting of around 87 K images (RGB type images) including healthy as well as diseased leaves. © 2021

A substitution box(S-Box)is a crucial component of contemporary cryptosystems that provide data protection in block *** the moment,chaotic maps are being created and extensively used to generate these SBoxes as a chaotic map assists in providing disorder and resistance to combat cryptanalytical *** this paper,the construction of a dynamic S-Box using a cipher key is proposed using a novel chaotic map and an innovative tweaking *** projected chaotic map and the proposed tweak approach are presented for the first time and the use of parameters in their workingmakes both of these dynamic in *** tweak approach employs cubic polynomials while permuting the values of an initial S-Box to enhance its cryptographic *** of the parameters are provided using the cipher key and a small variation in values of these parameters results in a completely different unique *** analysis and exploration confirmed that the projected chaoticmap exhibits a significant amount of chaotic *** security assessment in terms of bijectivity,nonlinearity,bits independence,strict avalanche,linear approximation probability,and differential probability criteria are utilized to critically investigate the effectiveness of the proposed S-Box against several *** proposed S-Box’s cryptographic performance is comparable to those of recently projected S-Boxes for its adaption in real-world security *** comparative scrutiny pacifies the genuine potential of the proposed S-Box in terms of its applicability for data security.

The design simulation and manufacturing of an x-band frequency uneven amplitude 90° hybrid coupler are described in this paper. This hybrid coupler is used to create a feeder network with eight output ports operating at 9.3 GHz. The overall goal is to design and analyze an uneven power feeding network (1:8) for low SLL x-band radar applications employing a hybrid coupler. The specific goal is to create a hybrid coupler with equal amplitude, a hybrid coupler with uneven amplitude [Taylor’s amplitude = –17 dB], and a feeding network using hybrid couplers. The goal of this research is to improve the ability of a single transmitter to provide power to more than one antenna, all at a time either equally or unequally, and this can be achieved by designing a desired number of hybrid couplers and connecting them to the specific number of antennas at the output end and to the single transmitter at the input end. © 2025 by Begell House, Inc.

Nowadays, medical image fusion plays a crucial role in enhancing the diagnosis accuracy and the clinical decision-making process in various healthcare applications. This research work presents a comprehensive study of the design and implementation of optimized medical image fusion techniques using a combination of software and Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) technologies. The proposed medical image fusion strategy is based on the utilization of Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and Modified Central Force Optimization (MCFO). The implementation of the proposed technique as well as the traditional medical image fusion techniques is considered using an appropriate software design and FPGA. The presented techniques aim to overcome the limitations of traditional fusion techniques by integrating advanced image processing algorithms, optimization algorithms, and parallel computing capabilities offered by FPGA platforms. The first step in the proposed framework is to match the histogram of one of the images with that of the other, so that both images will have the same dynamic range. After that, the DWT is used to decompose the images that should be fused together. Based on some constraints, the MCFO optimization algorithm is used to evaluate the optimum level of decomposition and the optimum parameters for the best fusion quality. Finally, to improve the obtained visual quality and reinforce the information in the fusion result, an additional contrast enhancement step using adaptive histogram equalization is applied to the fusion result. Comparative study between the proposed optimized DWT-based fusion framework, the traditional Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Additive Wavelet Transform (AWT), and DWT-based fusion techniques is presented. It is expected that physical-layer security will finally thrive to provide an extra layer of defence for a variety of devices in next-generation 6G wireless communication. In this work, physical-layer security using non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) with single-input-single-output (SISO) assumptions are considered where the users and eavesdroppers are spatially uniformly deployed. The channels between the transmitter (base station (BS)) and the NOMA users and eavesdroppers are considered to be independent Nakagami-m. We analyse the secrecy sum rate (SSR) of the NOMA system in the case of imperfect successive interfere cancellation (SIC) and propose an optimised power allocation scheme with minimised transmit power requirement to satisfy the Quality of Service (QoS) for all legitimate users. Closed-form solutions for the SSR are also derived. The performance of the proposed schemes has been evaluated both by analysis and by simulations. Results are evaluated for a wide range of the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). © 2024 IEEE.

The increasing integration of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) in critical infrastructure presents unique challenges for ensuring robust cybersecurity. Traditional Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) often struggle with the dynamic, complex nature of CPS environments, making adaptive solutions essential. This paper presents an Adaptive Intrusion Detection System (AIDS) that leverages Reinforcement Learning-Based Autoencoders (RL-AE) to detect and respond to cyber intrusions in CPS environments. The proposed model combines the power of autoencoders for unsupervised anomaly detection with reinforcement learning to continuously adapt and improve detection accuracy. Experimental results on benchmark CPS datasets demonstrate that the RL-AE-based IDS achieves a detection accuracy of 98.3%, a precision rate of 96.8%, and a recall rate of 97.5%, effectively minimizing false positives to 2.4%. The system also demonstrated rapid adaptability, with a convergence time of less than 50 iterations in response to new attack patterns. These results highlight the model's ability to enhance system resilience and promote secure and efficient CPS operations in industrial and critical infrastructure applications. This approach provides a scalable and flexible IDS solution, promoting secure and resilient CPS operations in real-time, high-stakes environments. © 2024 IEEE.

Accurate weather forecasting is critical for decision-making in agriculture, disaster management, urban planning, and numerous other domains. Traditional forecasting methods often struggle to capture the intricate spatial and temporal dependencies in weather data. This work proposes a hybrid deep learning model that integrates Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks to address these challenges. The CNN component efficiently extracts spatial features from satellite images, such as cloud formations and precipitation zones, while the LSTM network models the temporal dependencies inherent in meteorological data, such as temperature, humidity, and wind speed. The model is trained on a dataset comprising historical weather records and satellite imagery, spanning several years. PyTorch, a dynamic deep learning framework, is used to implement and train the hybrid architecture. Data preprocessing involves normalization, image augmentation, and sequence structuring to prepare inputs for the model. The CNN layers, built with convolutional and pooling operations, extract spatial features, which are combined with temporal weather data and passed to the LSTM network. The LSTM layers capture long-term dependencies and trends in weather patterns. Fully connected layers map the learned features to final predictions, including temperature, rainfall, and other key weather parameters. The hybrid model is evaluated using metrics such as Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) for numerical predictions and accuracy for classification tasks. Results indicate that the proposed hybrid CNN-LSTM model outperforms standalone models and traditional statistical approaches, demonstrating its ability to leverage spatial and temporal dependencies for accurate weather forecasting.
