The three single-phase combined (TSC) topology has been ruling the power converter industries for many years. In this research, TSC topology with Lithium Battery DC source is proposed for 400Hz Ground Power Unit (GPU) due to its advantages particularly in increasing the system flexibility and reliability. Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) is one of the most viable PWM techniques for inverter, however, it is shown that SPWM has no good contribution on three phase control system, hence, Space Vector Modulation (SVM) technique is now more widely used. This paper proposes a novel effectual three-dimensional Space Vector Modulation (3D-SVM) technique for three single-phase combined inverter, which can provide up to 27 switching states, expanding the possible range to find the best decision boundary to compare with traditional SPWM. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through MATLAB simulations.

It is necessary to regularly detect faults to maintain the safety and stability of power lines. Insulators are one of the important electrical components in high-voltage transmission lines. It is extremely necessary to check the working status of insulators regularly. Traditional manual inspection is inefficient because it requires a significant amount of labor costs. In this paper, a method for detecting insulators' missing defect based on aerial images is proposed to address the issue by unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). Firstly, the improved Faster R-CNN (region-based convolutional neural network) is used to identify and locate insulators in aerial images. Secondly, the U-Net image segmentation network segments insulators from the images. The adaptive threshold segmentation method completely separates the insulator from the background. Then the binary image of the insulator is obtained. Finally, the binary image is converted into a fault curve which is used for determining the missing insulators based on the distribution of the fault curve. By using collected insulator datasets on a 330kV overhead transmission line using a DJI M300 UAV platform and an onboard H20T camera/sensor, the detection accuracy of glass insulators is as high as 0.98 with the proposed algorithm. The positioning accuracy of the proposed algorithm is also higher than other algorithms. This method has high detection accuracy for missing defects in insulators. The experimental results show that compared with similar algorithms, this method has higher accuracy and efficiency.

Considering the high energy consumption problem in the wastewater treatment process, this paper proposes a multi-objective optimization control scheme based on NSGA-II algorithm. The proposed scheme can not only ensures meet effluent quality requirements but also can achieves energy cost savings. This method takes the aeration energy consumption and pumping energy consumption of the system as the optimization goal with the effluent water quality being the constraint condition. At the same time, the adaptive fuzzy PID controller is designed to ensure the control accuracy and stability of the controlled system. The results of simulation experiments validated in benchmark simulation platform, BSM1, show that, compared with PI control and single-objective optimization control, the proposed optimization scheme in this paper can achieve the desired quality of the effluent water withmore energy-saving.

This paper introduces a framework to reduce operational costs in active distribution systems by utilizing battery energy storage systems. It employs a two-stage stochastic programming approach involving Here-and-Now and Wait-and-See decisions. The scheduling problem is studied as a mixed-integer linear programming model in GAMS and solved using the CPLEX solver. A feeder from an active electricity distribution network is chosen to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Operating costs are evaluated under varying scenarios with and without energy storage across seasons. The research contributes to the literature by providing a comprehensive analysis of the strategic role of Battery Energy Storage System in optimizing operational efficiency and enhancing flexibility in active distribution networks. The findings underscore the critical value of energy storage in reducing costs and managing uncertainties in energy operations, as validated by the simulation results demonstrating the economic benefits of the proposed strategy.

In this paper, a distributed cooperative tracking algorithm is proposed for the small patrol UA V target tracking problem. By setting up a sensor network to realize the communication between missile clusters, we introduce a weighted information fusion and distribution method for multiple sensor nodes. Meanwhile, a trajectory shaping guidance law is derived for the three-dimensional space maneuver target striking problem. In the scenario of multi-missile UA V target interception, the simulation of multi-missile tracking and the striking process is completed to achieve accurate estimation of target position, velocity, and acceleration. The effectiveness and superiority of this cooperative tracking algorithm are verified through extensive simulations and comparisons.
